I love The Joint on Hebron Pkwy in Carrollton! I have been seeing a chiropractor for 30+ years. My best experience has been at The Joint. I love that I don't have to have an appointment and I can just come in whenever I want. I never wait more than 15 minutes or so. Dr. Davis is awesome. He's been taking care of me for over a decade. I have a lot of issues, because of being in many car accidents. I always go before I travel, and time I'm in pain, I can always count on him, and for that matter, any of the doctors there, to get everything put back where it belongs, I like to say. I had ongoing lower back pain that wouldn't go away. Dr Davis was professional, kind and fixed my pain.

Went in today as a first time patient and was told I couldn't be seen because the receptionist wasn't there. I asked if I could fill the paper work out and it could be entered in the computer tomorrow. The woman behind the desk said, " I'm the doctor and I shouldn't be sitting here. I already told you I'm not seeing a new patient; go to Las Colinas." I can say honestly, I won't be going to any of their locations and it is quite obvious, the doctor had zero ownership in the clinic or she would have tried to assist me. customer service is not their strong suit! The session and evaluation was quick and helpful; they accepted the challenge to get me up and walking again. I started on July 6 and went regularly for treatment. I would strongly discourage anyone from this practice based on my recent experience. Went in just after 5pm last Thursday because I had some moderate pain between my scapula and vertebrae for over a week that hadn't subsided. My regular DC's office is closed on Friday, so I thought maybe I could get a quick adjustment at The Joint and get some relief before the weekend. After filling out way too much paperwork, I was able to see the DC, and without going into the conversation in detail, the doctor refused to adjust me without an x-ray (which they don't do - I would have to go somewhere else for that), and he also said, point blank, that they really wanted to get me onto a treatment plan (which meant they really wanted to treat themselves to my bank account, not really treat me and my symptoms). Fast forward to today, and after dealing with the pain Fri, Sat, Sun and most of Mon (4 more days), I was able to see my regular DC late Monday afternoon. Without an x-ray, and after just a couple of questions, he had me lay on the table and adjusted me in two places - said my rib had simply slipped out of its groove a little bit, and he very easily got it back in place. I assume the DC at The Joint would've figured out the same thing if he had actually listened to me and examined me at all, but he did neither. I apparently didn't fit their target profile, so he seemed to have little interest in helping me at that time. My pain is now almost entirely gone, and I'll go back to my regular DC for one or two more visits, then we'll make a maintenence plan, at my request. No unnecessary treatment plan, and they take my insurance, unlike The (clip) Joint, so no vacuum hose will be attached to my bank account fit the long term. Lots of good chiropractors in Carrollton/ West Plano running legit practices. I definitely won't be back to this one. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Davis at the Hebron location for almost 3 years. Although there are other locations closer to me, I truly drive for him, just like another reviewer wrote below. I don't have enough words of praise. He is professional, kind, listens carefully, and always gets the job done. I tend to have pretty difficult adjustments because of a combination of body dynamics and pushing my limits through my fitness workouts that make me constantly sore and stiff, and he always always always realigns me and helps me feel better on the spot, no joke the difference is real as soon as I leave the place. Dr Clint is AMAZING. I've been to several Joints in the DFW area and for treatment of terrible neck pain. So much so I get headaches and just constantly feel like my shoulders are at my ears. I was referred here by one of my co-workers. So glad I came in. Walk-ins are welcome and its a quick application to get you in and out. My first time there I went ahead a signed up for about 6-7 sessions. I had a huge pain in the left side of my neck that ran down the left side of my arm and upper neck. Soreness is to be expected. All 3 doctors are amazing and have 3 different styles to adjust you. So glad that I was able to get my back and shoulder worked on here. You do not need insurance, although I do have insurance they do not accept it. You simply just pay up front. Also sometimes there are special treats up front, I love that!!! read more

Love the service! And love the no-appointments format! It's quick and convenient and they get me fixed and back on the road quickly. We started using them because my daughter plays a lot of sports - and when you get hurt on Friday Night and can't see the Chiropractor until Monday or Tuesday, that's a problem. The Join has hours 7 days a week, and they have evening hours so we could get in after school or work. You can use them anywhere! We were in Salt Lake City for skiing, and my wife felt a bit out, so we googled 'The Joint' and found a place nearby. We stopped in and, as always, the service was great. Finally, the subscription model: you pay $69 per month and you get 4 visits, and only $10 more for each extra visit if you need more. Kids 18 and under pay just $39. There are months when I don't go - and weeks like last week when I went 6 or 7 times because my sacrum was out of line. He takes his time and makes sure you are getting what you need rather than a cookie cutter adjustment. When I initially checked out the Joint I was skeptical. Although, after checking it out about 4 months ago, I joined. Dr. Clinton Davis is very thorough and asks a lot of questions during my initial exam and every time I see him. Several times I've walked in with severe pain in my neck and back. He immediately sees and acknowledges the pain/inflammation. Several times he's set the expectation that the adjustment would take a few hours to set in and pain would subside over the rest of the day. Although, he is correct on a number of occasions I've felt immediate relief within minutes of the adjustment and much more improvement through the day. I may just be more aware of my body now, I've really never received that much relief and been able to track the results in the past. I think Dr Clinton Davis is very experienced and does a great job. The only drawback of the The Joint is they don't take insurance or handle car accidents. Because I workout a lot I understand that and I'm using the Joint for wellness/maintenance like I would leverage massage. I may still visit a chiropractor that my insurance covers (so I can take advantage of free massages With my adjustment), I'm going to keep my program at the Joint. For me the location at Park and Hebron is convenient. The other thing about the Joint is their hours. They seem to have much better hours and open until 7pm. A lot of chiropractors have very limited hours And if you work it is tough to get an appointment because they are never open. I would recommend the Joint either as your primary or wellness chiropractor for maintenance. read more

He did one back adjustment and only adjusted one side of my neck and didn't do the other. After that he continued to try and push me to sign up and pay for two weeks worth of adjustments. AND my upper back pain didn't go away and I ended up having constant lower back pain for a week after he adjusted me. Wouldn't recommend this place. I happen to be driving on Park and I saw this place in the corner of my eye. I have been in pain for a few months after some crazy night out...and thought I could suck it up. Went to yoga and found myself in more pain...not as bendy as I normally am. So I walked in. I was greeted by the doctor and a front desk gal. The Doc was very informative and told me to keep doing the yoga. He did put my left side back in place...and I was thinking he had Jesus hands...he just healed me. I was like wow...you are awesome!! I ended up buying a wellness plan....to keep my body in check. It was less expensive than going through my insurance...and I could put it on my FSA. The Doc will let you know if you need something more extensive and not try to rip you off. This is perfect for me. I LOVE going to the chiropractor and am a member of the Joint. The guy at this location is horrible. I didn't catch his name because I was literally running out of there before he could injure me further. I went in feeling great for my weekly adjustment. Tried this location bc I had time to kill waiting on my kiddo in the area. The guy manhandled me, was so rough and left me with a headache, neck pain and messed up back. He was so rough with the metal pin-like thing, I was struggling to get up and out as he was waving it and wanting to do more with it. It was seriously like a bad horror movie. You know how you hear people say they went to a chiropractor once and it was the worst experience of their life and they would never go to one again? This was THAT experience. I never knew what people were talking about until now because I love getting adjustments. Even though I enjoy the location I usually frequent, I will be quitting my membership over this.
