Due to a very busy work schedule, I was only able to attend three classes during that month, so I made the decision to cancel. When I first spoke to staff, instead of simply processing my request, I was met with pushy questioning about what I planned to do for workouts if I cancelled and was told that keeping a membership "once a month is better than nothing," which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I was informed that I needed to cancel prior to February 5, 2026. I called multiple times before that date, left messages requesting assistance with cancellation, and received no return calls. I eventually went in person, completed the cancellation paperwork, and specifically confirmed with staff that both memberships were cancelled and handled. Despite doing everything properly and on time, on February 5, 2026, my account was charged $159 twice -- once for me and once for my daughter -- totaling approximately $320 in unauthorized charges. I again called and left a message requesting a correction, and once again received no return call. This experience has been extremely disappointing. A gym should focus not only on attracting members but also on handling cancellations professionally, respectfully, and accurately. I am still waiting for the charges to be corrected and for confirmation that the accounts are fully cancelled. I hope management addresses these communication and billing issues so other customers do not experience the same situation.

Susan and her instructors have a wonderful disposition and are extremely skillful instructors. When initially starting I had a lot of body and self confidence issues since I had gained an extreme amount of weight. I was not comfortable with how I looked; however, never once did I feel out of place or uncomfortable. I love the intimacy of the classes, knowledge of the instructors and the welcomeness of the studio. Since my journey I've attend several group classes with various instructors and personal sessions with Susan. I've enjoyed learning more about my body, what works best for my body even with health challenges and overall body movement at Pivotal. I highly recommend this studio.

I have consistently paid my monthly dues, and as expected, there have been instances where I could not attend, resulting in accrued classes. Recently, my membership was suspended because the management deemed it unethical to continue charging me while I was not attending. I conveyed to Donna, the manager I have not yet met, that I am willing to continue paying. However, their primary concern seems to be my accrued classes, for which I have already paid. They informed me that I would only regain access to my accrued classes if I re-enrolled, limiting my ability to utilize these classes to a specific timeframe. I find it highly unethical that I am required to sign up again to access my accrued classes (in a specific time frame), while my new membership will continue to accrue additional classes. This approach demonstrates a lack of respect for clients and prioritizes financial gain over customer satisfaction. The business practices at this pilates studio are subpar, with even former employees highlighting a lack of respect. While they offer standard pilates classes, there is nothing exceptional about the experience. Instructors frequently change without prior notification, and clients are often spoken to in a condescending manner. I would prefer to invest my $250 in a more professional studio.
