Cosy, traditional-style pub which is dog friendly; every time I've visited there've been four or five pups wandering around, lying under tables or beside the fire. Doesn't serve food unfortunately, but I have seen people sitting in Jeggy Nettle with chips or pizza from nearby Stranmillis takeaways which they eat whilst drinking their intoxicant of choice. In my experience the gin serves are delicious (but expensive) and wine selection not the best, most people seem to stick to beer in this pub. Cocktails are good and in particular the Porn Star Martini is delicious. This is a lovely spot with a welcoming, relaxed vibe - snug in winter plus the bonus of outside seating for summertime. read more
