My mom bought me a dress and sent it out to me in CA. She asked the person working in the shop if she could return it a few days late if it didn't work for me, and she was told that it would be possible. Well, it turned out the cut & color didn't suit me, so I sent it back. This little well-traveled dress is back in NH now, just three days after the 14-day deadline, but the owner is telling her no returns are possible, not even for store credit. We're stuck with a dress we don't want because of a mis-informed employee and stringent policies. Buyers beware.

I was going to spend another $100 & probably would have at each visit but now I'll never go back. Good thing the carpet is safe from my seltzer. It's very unprofessional to talk loudly about a customer while other customers are present. I was very polite but decided to leave when she tried to take my drink & that's my choice. We weren't in the market for anything, so we left empty handed, but it was a beautiful store to look around in. The owner was very friendly. He greeted us when we entered the store and let us know he would help with anything we needed. The store was fairly empty, it was only us and maybe two other people browsing. Everything was very nice, but the merchandise was very expensive. I didn't look at an item that wasn't out of my price range. If you're the market for high end home goods and decor then Simon Pearce Retail Store has some really nice stuff. If you're on a budget, like me, this isn't the shop for you.
