But I actually had some questions and she was visibly annoyed. She was incredibly dismissive and straight up rude. I honestly was shocked bc I have been in there multiple times and spent a nice chunk of money and I was spending a nice chunk that day. I want to clarify I am overly nice and even while she was being rude I kept trying to win her over with kindness. She was arrogant, snotty, rude. and just overall very very bad vibes. I don't even want to light my dressed candle I got bc I feel like nothing about her is positive. There really aren't a lot of spots to find things around here like this but I am definitely not going back. It's unfortunate because I was genuinely ready to commit to some pretty big purchases in the future but the girl at the front counter is genuinely so rude I cannot fathom buying anything spiritual from a place with such a negative energy sitting in it. There was one employee, an older man with glasses, and the whole time he did not acknowledge us even though we were the only people in the store. When I approach the counter to pay, the man working heads over to the other end of the store to tidy some shelves. Me and my group wait patiently for a few minutes before he comes back, gives a rude look, and asks "That all?" I cordially say "Yes, thank you", pay for my items and head out. As I am heading home and already out of Philadelphia, I glance at the receipt and notice he rang up what were supposed to be $3 stickers as $6 magnets. I don't mind paying $6 for a sticker, but blatantly charging for a different, higher-ticket item is outright fraud and deception. The customer service already left a bad taste in my mouth and this was the cherry on top.

After an hour with no update, we decided to stroll around Center City and make the most of our day. Around 5:45 PM, I finally received a call from a staff member who apologized and explained she hadn't seen our messages and she was actually at home at the time. She offered to reschedule us for the next day at 3 PM. We accepted, but since we were still in the area, we called back and asked if we could come "now". She agreed, and we walked back over for a 6PM session. Once there, we were offered wine for purchase and water which we accepted. We got to make two candles each. She walked us through the process and told us to pick out our scents. The music playing added to a fun, laid-back vibe. Despite the earlier miscommunication, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I would definitely consider going again.
