The estimate was very reasonable but we had just bought our house and we had to prioritize investments. Two years later, Ken came back and graciously created a new quote and provided recommendations to deal with my ongoing drainage issues. First, the quote: Ken came to the house the same week, at the time agreed. He talked to me to understand what we needed and took measurements. Within a week, we emailed us a detailed quote. Then the work: Hillsborough Irrigation called to schedule their plumber to come and arranged for utilities to mark up the property for no-dig zones. The plumber came on time, one day before the work was set to begin. The work was very neatly done both inside and outside the house. The team also does everything above board including getting the right permits. A crew of 2-6 people came over 2 days. They installed a 2 zone sprinklers system, added stone for drainage, and did a ton of yard work. The crew was professional and the work looked excellent. They did an impeccable job removing all the nasty weeds from my patio and throughout my poorly maintained lawn (that's why I needed a sprinkler system!). The seeds they put down nicely filled in the bare spots and in 3 weeks, my lawn was all nice and green. The follow up: Ken came back IN PERSON to check on the sprinklers and to walk me through setting up the system. He educated me on the winterization and spring start up procedures too. The work was done as detailed in the invoice and I was easily able to pay the balance with my credit card.
