Unfortunately our visit was very unpleasant due to the behavior of an employee. My mother was taking her time deciding whether to purchase an item and mentioned she had recently bought something similar to a male employee when he approached us. Before she could finish explaining, the male employee was extremely rude and remarked that "the store wasn't meant for us." We were shocked by the comment and left without completing our purchase. This behavior was unwarranted and he could have very easily taken this opportunity to make a sale. Customer service like this is very disappointing. Such a lovely store but very hostile and uncomfortable environment. read more

3 times since Christmas we've driven 2 hours to get here. Each time we checked the website. Open until 5pm. 1st time was about 3 weeks before Christmas. A weekday, got here around 2. Closed. 2nd time, after New Year's on Saturday, walked up to the door and a blonde ish lady told us they had to close and wouldn't let us in. It was 4:30. Today, Friday Feb. 27th, got here at 4pm. Saw people in the shop but it was closed. Never again. We're done. read more

Of all the times I've been to Saint Augustine isn't the first time I've actually walked down this small little street near the fort. We saw this Irish gift shop and had to go in. They have so many items obviously all relating to the Irish way of life. Staff was very pleasant and very helpful. Great place to remember for future gifts. read more

Large shop with a great selection of items from different counties in Ireland. We saw many of the same brands and specialty items on our two trips to Ireland and always enjoy looking around this shop. Staff are very friendly and we always find something new as we explore. Since many items are made in Ireland, expect to pay more for items. Great place for gifts as well. read more

My boyfriend and I found this cute little store off a side street in the city while exploring. I didn't take any pictures because they request you don't, and have signs posted against it, so I respected their wishes. The inside had beautiful Irish home decor, food items, and jewelry. I bought a beautiful Claddagh ring, and a box of soda bread mix. Highly recommend popping in this beautiful shop and looking around. read more

Having shopped in person there several years, I was familiar with their general merchandise. I contacted the shop on 12/19/22 and spoke to Michelle who then emailed me pictures of three different Irish knit sweaters that would fit my wife. I chose one and called her with my payment information. Michelle carefully wrapped and mailed the sweater to me. I got it two days later. My wife really loves the look and warmth of the sweater and the price was very reasonable. Michelle is to be commended for helping me provide a great Christmas for my wife. Everything Irish in a pretty large store! Celtic Jewelry is my weakness and they had a huge variety of it. Yay! There are also swords (ok another weakness of mine), flags, mugs, and plenty of other items for the Irish or even just the Irish at heart! I actually walked out with a most beautiful silver ring. Awesome store with so much to choose from here. We took my grandfather here in the 80's & being full-blooded Irish (Loren Bernard Corrigan), he loved it. Went back last Sept. 2013. They had moved its location to one of the indoor strips along George St., but still as charming. My daughter bought herself a few things including a mug with her grandparent's surname (Corrigan) on it. read more

We love Ireland so we had to go here, of course. A nice little house turned into trinket shop. Lots of irish stuff including trinkets to apparel. They would do well at an Irish fest. This place is an absolute treasure! They used to be on St George but are now in the Heritage Walk shops and the new owners are incredibly darling and knowledgeable. They had the Beleek piece I was looking for, and lovely celtic jewelry along with the typical fun "kiss me I'm Irish"-type stuff. Grace helped me pick out the perfect patchwork hat for my hubs (HE LOVED IT,) and filled me in on some folklore. Especially loved the "Garlic & Gaelic" baby items! What an oasis. The St. Augustine House of Ireland has been around as long as I can remember. It was always on St. George Street but moved across the street into an indoor "mall" of shops last year - locals don't seem to know this. I found out online. The old owners retired but the new owners have a very pretty shop and carry on the tradition nicely. Hope they do well! read more

This Irish Gift House Rocks! we have been visiting it for years and were very upset to hear that the town of St. Augustine rented their space that the Irish Gift House had occupied for many years. Corporate America won out and hurt the small businessman, Fresh Produce a stupid clothing store that has NO business being in this historic district took over their space. Now they are relelated to a small space where datl peppers and fuzzy hats are sold. They can't display their huge selection of Beleek china for fear it will be broken. For Shame St. Augustine, you need to find these great, caring people an acceptable place to sell their terrific and authentic Irishware. read more

Love this store! I had to stop in on our way home from Savannah. jewelery is beautiful and reasonably priced. Lots of Irish music and loads of fun nik naks. After looking up and down St George Street for this store (having been reccomended to visit by all our friends) a passer by told us how unfairly they had been treated by the landlord and they have now moved to Heritage Walk. It is a smaller store but still has so many fabulous Irish things. I bought some lovely jewelry and gorgeous perfume. The t shirts are brilliant. It has definately become my favourite store. The owners are very friendly and helpful and told me all about the history of my name. They had a mug and key chain with my coat of arms. If you can't visit the store in person, become a fan on Facebook where they will let everyone know when the new website will be up and running.
