I received an email from Erik with my auto quote and to call with any questions. I had a few questions and Erik was able to take my call right away. He fixed my quotes due to some wrong address and told me about all the discounts available. I came in the office today to get everything set up and started. The office was easy to find parking is hit or miss though. They are located in downtown Elizabethtown, so public parking and not a private lot. So parking it shared by the courthouse and other places. The office is beautifully restored, tall ceilings and minimalist decor that just enough to be stylish and not overwhelming. Super friendly front desk and showed me wear Erik's office was located. Super easy to find, it was literally to the right of me, but still tho. Nice people! Erick was ready with my folder and get my policies started! I didn't have a couple of information was needed, but he was able to get everything started. I was able to call back the next day and bam! I have to preface this review by saying I'm extremely skeptical when listening to TV commercials…read more However after seeing numerous commercials for Family Select, I thought why not give them a shot after my insurance company of 15 years raised my rates significantly. We've not had even one homeowners or car claim, yet my current company raised my rates year after year. My current insurance company went up almost $500 this year for home and auto combined. I called Family Select and was transferred to Kala Turner. Kala had me give her all the pertinent information off my current policies. Kala stated she would call me back by end of day with my quotes. Within a couple hours Kala called me with my quotes. Her quote for homeowners was $400 less than my current carrier and her quote for my cars was $300 less. Plus both her homeowners and auto quotes were for more coverage than my current insurance company. The combined savings of $700 made my decision very easy. I decided I was moving to Family Select. However, that's not the end of the story! I go to the office to sign the paperwork and pay the premiums. When I get there, Kala informs me the company she quoted had LOWERED, yes lowered their rates since she originally quoted me. Now, my premiums were a total of $165 LESS than she originally quoted. My total savings was now $865! Kala was very easy and pleasant to work with. At this point I am extremely happy I called Family Select and Kala.
