What can I say except "perfection"! Yes, The Inn at Elon can be a bit pricey, but for what you pay there is value and it is worth every penny! Located right on campus, The Inn just opened at the beginning of 2020. Although it is brand new, the Inn still feels old and stately, like mansions of the past. With its brick facade, the building maintains the architectural traditions of campus. The interior is swanky without being stuffy. We reserved a suite, which was plenty of room for the four of us. There were two actual rooms with a door separating them (unlike some suites that are one room with a sitting area). There was also a half bath, which was super convenient. The furnishings were elegant, without being too overdone. The linens were crisp, but comfortable. The bathroom was large and luxurious, with upscale bath products. The staff was friendly and gracious. When staying at "the Inn", you almost feel like you want your child to go to Elon, just so you can visit this jewel over and over again!

I've never heard of the Drury Inn & Suites until I had to stay in a small town in Burlington…read more I picked this hotel for the obvious reasons the ratings and the other yelpers reviews had nothing, but great this to say about this place that I had to stay and check it out for myself. The lobby is very clean the staff is professional and friendly. They only sell alcohol until midnight boo!, but it is what it is. They have a small little area where you can purchase food and snacks which is great. I love that they serve complimentary breakfast and dinner... yes! You heard me correctly complimentary dinner as well. Breakfast is the best in my opinion because the selection is so much better. My favorite is the biscuits with or without gravy and I call them ashy biscuits because they are not quite golden just perfect soft, tender and delicious. I'm not sure if they are made in house, but they definitely do taste homemade and absolutely delicious. I wish I had some apple butter with me. They have sausage, eggs and not the powdered mess you can taste the difference, cereals, potatoes O'Brien, Oatmeal, fresh fruit and so much more. You will not leave hungry I promise lol. It's in a great location right off the freeway and there is also nearby shipping etc... FYI.., the parking can be really scarce. Not enough parking at times so try to get in early if you can.

Complimentary dinner....GASP! What an idea.....but wait.....Complimentary DRINKS! Wowzaa. That's the winner! I'm picky about cleanliness and this has to be the cleanest place I've stayed. Plus the staff are so so friendly. Located in a great place too next to shopping and food. Ya seriously can't beat it!

A huge thank you to Sasha and the rest of the front desk team; check-in was seamless, and everyone we encountered was friendly without being intrusive. The lobby is bright and welcoming. Our room was very clean and featured updated furniture, a large LED TV with plenty of content, a reasonable workspace with easy-to-connect WiFi, and individual HVAC controls that made it easy to manage the temperature during the night. The room was also equipped with a small refrigerator as well as a coffee maker with four pods and teabags. The bathroom had plenty of space on the vanity for my personal hygiene items and this hotel has made the transition from providing individual bars of soap and bottles of shampoo/conditioner to refillable wall-mounted dispensers. The Hampton Inn Burlington also offers terrific guest amenities such as a complimentary all-you-can eat breakfast buffet and a small, but well-equipped fitness center. While we didn't have time to hit the complimentary breakfast this trip, it looked great -- with scrambled eggs, sausages, a make-your-own waffle station, yogurt, cold cereals and hot oatmeal, fresh fruit, and coffee -- and the staff does a great job to keep everything topped off and tables clean during the breakfast rush. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Burlington! PRO TIP: No Rules, Just (Turn) Right! The entrance is shared with the Outback Steakhouse on Longpine Road. Keep an eye out for the small sign right past the restaurant to find the hotel's parking lot.

Our room was comfy, we had a great night's sleep, and the breakfast in the morning was decent for a free breakfast. When we got to the Olympics, everyone was complaining about their accommodations nearer to the site being dirty, loud, and generally terrible. So we were happy we made the choice to stay here and if we are back in town for something, we'll likely stay here again.

What a pleasant surprise to discover the extensive covered outside patio just out our back door. We enjoyed evening cocktails from the restaurant bar there every evening. 1 STAR - ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!…read more My experience at the Best Western on Huffman Mill Road was absolutely HORRIFIC! As a Registered Nurse who travels extensively for work, I have stayed in countless hotels across the country. I know the difference between a well-maintained property and one that is completely unacceptable. My instincts told me to avoid this particular location, but after a long day of traveling, I was exhausted. As a loyal Best Western Rewards member, I decided to give this property a chance. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE! From the moment I arrived, the experience was unpleasant. The receptionist was unfriendly, rude, and completely unprofessional. Her dismissive attitude made an already disappointing situation even worse. However, the condition of the room was absolutely APPALLING! There was visible black mold-like growth in the corners of the room, and the carpeting was FILTHY! The overall cleanliness was so unacceptable that I refused to spend even one night there. As a healthcare professional, I find these conditions particularly concerning. Guests should NEVER have to question whether their hotel room is clean and sanitary. I immediately requested a refund and left the property. Despite being exhausted, I chose to drive approximately 40 additional miles to a Hilton in the Research Triangle Park area of Durham, NC, rather than remain in such unacceptable accommodations. That alone should tell you how disturbing the conditions were! Best Western management should be EMBARRASSED! A hotel should provide guests with clean, sanitary accommodations and professional customer service. This location failed miserably on BOTH counts. As a frequent traveler and loyalty member, I expected considerably better. MY ADVICE: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY! Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. No traveler should have to tolerate filthy accommodations, suspected mold, and disrespectful customer service. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!

I mistakenly though the coffee brewer was the coffee dispenser for breakfast. The coffee overflowed, and the manager yelled at me from behind the check out desk, "Lady, you have made a mess" in front of another guest. I said, "Yes, I have." He started berating me saying that I knew the coffee was in the lobby on the table. He continued yelling at me as I walked down the hall to my room. After a few minutes, I went to the desk to check out. I told him I wanted the manager's name so that I could write a review. He told me that he could delete my review. I told him he should put a sign up at the coffee brewer saying "Do not use." He said that I told him that he did not tell me to use the machine. He said, he couldn't tell me as he was behind the check-in desk. He was correct about that. He said I had walked by the coffee caraffs on the table 10 times. I told him again that he should have a sign. He said he had done that, and the signs got thrown away. I said, "Oh, so I am not the only person that has done this." I have never seen anyone in a hospitality profession treat anyone as I was treated. If someone spills something in a restaurant, I have never seen a wait staff person treat anyone as I was treated. I wonder if my husband had been with me, would he have treated me that way. Or, would he have treated a man that way? I would like to say that the person that checked me in was fantastic.

It was very tasty with good selection ... Biscuits and gravy, pancakes and good quality sausages. Sherrie, the breakfast attendant was extremely pleasant. She even served us a bit at our table! While the amenities were very nice and the facility is modern, it is absolutely the staff that sets this location above others I've visited. They knew about the chain restaurants next door, but frankly I knew that my final destination was going to be meals of plain-jane Americana and I needed some variety before being subjected to that. Sadly I had to resort to other methods of finding a place to eat rather than recommendations from the staff.
