What a great sandwich and a lovely place. I hope that they get a liquor license soon!

My boyfriend got the fish fry since it is only available on Fridays and I got a gluten-free pizza which is some of the best gluten-free crust I've had!! There is even live music on the day that we went, and the artist was phenomenal. After we ate and had some drinks, we went upstairs to the little arcade room and played some games. This is a great restaurant to grab a bite and hang out with some friends. Will definitely be coming back soon!!

At $7.50, they were dry as dirt, because they didn't have any garlic sauce, or salt, and every puerto rican knows that plantains come with sauce and plenty of it. Waste of money. My husband ordered the sausage and peppers, which consisted of 1 sausage cut in half,on a hamburger bun and a few pieces of peppers. Fries were average, $14.50. I had the chicken quesadilla, $17.50. Ordered 1 margarita and double Jim Bean for hubby, I believe they were $15.00 each because the entire bill was a bit over $72.00, and being the person that I am, I left a $10 tip, not knowing what the food looked like until we got back to our campsite. Needless to say, much of it got tossed. If I could give it a negative star. review, I would. WASTE OF MONEY

We entered and went up the stairs to the host station where we encountered a less than hospitable host who we later found out was the owner. He asked if we had a reservation and we indicated that we did not. He scowled and looked down at his reservation book before warning us in a disapproving tone that normally reservations are required (something not on their sign or website), but he did have a table available. He pointed us to a QR code for the menu and seated us. We looked over the menu and noticed that the pizza was listed under the "Tavern Only" section. When he returned with some bread I questioned if we were in the right place to order pizza and he informed us that we were in the fine dining restaurant and that pizza was only served downstairs in the tavern. I should add that the existence of the tavern was less than obvious and there was no indication that there were two places to dine. When we went downstairs the tavern was largely empty and was only staffed by a single bartender who took ou order for pizza and wings. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and an order of wings (10). There were a couple of other tables and the kitchen was upstairs so the poor bartender who was all alone had to tend to the three tables and go upstairs to get the orders and bring them down resulting in very slow service (not her fault). All this would be worth it if the pizza was as good as they claimed, but I can't imagine a town anywhere where this would be the "best pizza around". The pizza was on a tasteless premade crust, the sauce had no seasoning, and there were only about 10 pieces of pepperoni. The wings were grilled and tasted fairly good, but the skin was rubbery. I can summarize the long review by saying that it's clear the owner doesn't really seem to care, the prices are high, and the food isn't very good.

I am the type of person who likes it already paired with what it needs so I went for an option under others. I got the bear dump plate which is their take of a garbage plate. My only recommendation is they do a princess plate (half portion) because there was so much I was full within 5 minutes! The food was delicious and the bartenders were great company. The beer varieties were nice and I actually loved their seltzer. It has no flavor and they have a variety of flavor syrups to add to it, the lavender with it is very refreshing. Their cocktail menu was amazing and diverse as well and my boyfriend was excited to get his transfusion. Overall a great spot and we love visiting when we come up to old forge.

The place was very quiet, but I assume the place draws more attention in the summer months. I tried their John Daly, and their Transfusion. My fiancé had their Cosmo, and the ADK Mule. I enjoyed all of the drinks, though I will say the drinks were pretty hard. If you can handle your alcohol, then you'll love this place. We spoke with the bartender, and he said they have lots planned for the summer! Definitely worth the visit!

We were seated immediately which was awesome seeing as it was 4th of July weekend. We ordered the spinach and shrimp dip for an appetizer and we ate that up immediately. We didn't realize they were attempting to close the section to the left. We waited about 25 mins. Some other families arrived with 4 and were seated immediately. We were finally seated. 10 minutes after we were seated I went back to the hostess and asked who are server is since we still didn't have drink orders. It was the server that was serving the table next to us. She never said, "oh I'll be right with you", even after she went to that table 5 times. They kept asking for drinks and crackers and more items. After I approached the hostess I saw them flag her down and ask her to serve us, not sure if she was supposed to go home, on break or what the breakdown with service happened to be. After the hostess flags her down she comes up to our table and asks for drinks, no apology for the wait or having to flag her down to get service. I said we have been here for 10 minutes, we are ready to place our full order. We order everything. It takes 11 minutes to bring 5 waters, 2 sodas, and 2 bottles of beer. This is after the place has now cleared and is quiet inside. 85% of the tables and bar are empty. 28 minutes later our food arrives. She never came back to ask for refills. She had two tables at this point, ours and a family of 4 behind us. After the food was delivered and we were eating I glanced over to the bar to see the manager, hostess, bar tender all eating chips and dip at the bar due to it all slowing down. The server came right over to ask if everything was ok and began leaving before we could answer. We would like more drinks. Buser never cleared our table. I had to put dirty dishes on the table being cleared next to us. Service was negative stars. I have two stars because the food was really good, the environment was ok. Some cobwebs in corners and the building is a little shabby, but it goes with the vibe. I would rather have stellar service and ok food than great food and not great service.
