I'm a huge fan of Works Progress. I've been a member over the years, and I can't think of a better…read morecoworking space. Marnee, the owner, is super nice and really cares about the community. The other members are fantastic, friendly, and fabulous. It's an eclectic mix of businesses and freelancers -- not just tech startup people. Marnee also does a lot of community events including member lunches, happy hours and seasonal celebrations. Also lots of free parking - no need to deal with parking in downtown or SLU.

If you are a penny-pinching indie or soloprenuer Works Progress is the place to be! Let me just lay…read moreit out: 1) Parking is free and so much easier than any of the co-working places downtown. 2) There is an incredible DIVERSITY of people here from all sorts of backgrounds; if you aren't wanting to work exclusively in a tech bubble - this is the place to be! 3) Marnee (who captains the ship) is super friendly and engaging and has really created an excellent, welcoming community here. We have regular happy hours, member events, and there are plenty of opportunities to get to know your co-working neighbor. Alternatively, if you want to huddle behind a desk with your headphones in, you won't be harassed. 4) Rent's high and getting higher! A co-working space is the best way to utilize your business income to marketing and outreach rather than wasting it on hyper-inflated rents and painful long-term contracts. 5) A full kitchen means you don't have to eat out - unless you want to. Note - it's stocked for Happy Hour and also houses private conference rooms and a place to film video. I'm incredibly grateful for Marnee's creativity and initiative in getting Works Progress off the ground and running and keeping it going. I never expected my rent costs to *drop* over the years, but they have! If you are sick of sitting at home staring at the walls come in for a free day trial and meet the gang. They're happy to have visitors!

I don't have an office at Thinkspace, but I worked (from) their office for a few hours (once) and…read morehave attended a couple of events at their office, and I am definitely a fan. They have a great community of people and businesses, and they seem to be doing a lot of cool stuff. The space is conveniently located in downtown Redmond, so it's a great location for plenty of people. Their events have all been great! Great snacks and great speakers. I have never really been part of a co-working office, but I think it's a really cool idea. I love that you can get a regular office and access at all hours, or you can join as a limited member that doesn't have a set space or need to pay to be there full-time. The office address and reception services also seem useful for some businesses. Looking forward to visiting Thinkspace again!

Sorry about this…read more... Parking is nonexistent for this facility. My people had to park all over the neighborhood and one person was advised by the front desk to park in the 7-11 parking lot... Seriously? Add to that, no clear guidance upon arrival to meeting space. My attendees couldn't figure out where to enter the building, nor where to go once in the "back" front door. Then after finding their way to the reception area, were informed the meeting space was back down on the first floor. So all my attendees arrive to the meeting stressed and annoyed. Was the meeting room nice, yes. Were all the features in the room good, yes. But that won't make up for setting the attendees on edge in the arrival process.
