We don't take a lot of photos and are pretty camera-shy, but Nicole was very helpful and gently guided us on what to do and made us feel free to try out different things. She was very gracious during our session and even went a little over time because we had to feed the baby in the middle of it. Photos came back within two weeks and we're very happy with them. Lets start this review off the right way - my wife and I couldn't have asked for a better group of…read morepeople to document our celebration of love with!! When we set out to find our wedding photographer, we had a few crucial criteria to help navigate the abyss but didn't expect to make such close friends with the team we chose in the process. Gary and Lisa are superb people, with a passion and flair for life that goes far beyond the camera lens. Gary has a serious eye for detail and an uncanny ability to reinterpret a moment in an elevated perspective - taking inspiration from both set and setting. This guy is truly a photographer's photographer, and blessed with a heart of gold. The portfolio of R&R isn't a collection of one-off's; there's an underlying thought and intent to every shot you see, and this is exactly how Gary approaches his work - constant progression, evolution, and inspired reinterpretation. His photos tell your story in a way you experience, but cannot describe. I can't recommend his work highly enough. Gary and Lisa were super helpful from start to finish. Extremely responsive, attentive, and above all - genuine. The work of R&R in many respects speaks for itself. But what is important to note is that these aren't just face-value talents; they're skills that augment the personalities of some seriously wonderful people who - as is certainly true in our case - have become long-term friends. Their flexibility in working with our budgetary requirements and still delivering a top shelf experience is something we hold in high regard. Day of the wedding? Gary was on-time, organized, in solid spirits and ready to party! From his arrival on throughout the night, he was involved in the guidance and direction of our Groomsmen, our Bridesmaids, and most importantly - ourselves - and seamlessly oscillated between casual observer to active engager. Trust me, this level of dynamism is what you want in a photographer, otherwise you're bound to end up with a collection of shots that tell the same exact story from the same exact perspective, start to finish. Which gets stale and repetitive real quick. Yea, those two words are not ones you want to think of on a day that you're supposed to look back on with smiles for the rest of your days. Not only did we get an incomparable collection of photos from our love celebration, but we made some life-long friends in the process. Highest recommendations to Redwood & Rye. From the second we made the appointment…read moreto the arrival of our pictures, Warren Lavalle, the owner and photographer, was extremely professional. Prior to the photo shoot: I had some difficulty understanding the instructions provided by the high school as to the size (pixels) necessary for the yearbook. Warren went out of his way to contact both the high school and Jostens (yearbook) to get the specifics. This took the stress off of me since I had no idea what to ask (being unfamiliar with graphic design terms). During the photoshoot: The outside location at Green Hill Park, Worcester (they suggested) was perfect. We had a variety of shots with different shirts and scenery. The shots portrayed my son's personality very well. After the photoshoot: Not being computer savvy, I was having difficulty selecting photos from the software program. I called Warren and he took me through the process, step by step. Again, easing my frustration. The disc that he made for the school's use was hand delivered to me and professionally labeled with the instructions right on the disc. My photos arrived in a carefully wrapped and boxed package within 3 days of me placing my order. I was pleasantly surprised with such quick delivery. The photos are of high quality and reasonably priced. Whether it be a wedding, senior pictures, family photos, baby pictures, etc...I would highly recommend Lavallee Photography. I would definitely use them again. They go above and beyond what 's expected. Renee Sullivan
