Ann is the best. I would recommend her to everyone! I have been to her now for 2 newborn sessions and a cake smash. The 2 newborn sessions couldn't have gone more differently if they tried and both times, Ann was great and the photos turned out beautiful. I trust her wholeheartedly with my newborns as she swaddles them and puts them in various positions. The 1 year cake smash session was so fun and Ann made everything so easy. She accommodated my color requests and decorated beautifully. I'm looking forward to the next cake smash session and I'm hoping to get Christmas pictures sometime in the next couple of years, too. The sessions are expensive but generally on par with photographers in the area. I don't mind paying for quality, though, and Ann is truly wonderful. read more

I was suppose to have another photographer company (he who must not be named) take photos of my newborn. But because of the holidays (even though I contacted them months in advance) couldn't take me in right away until after the new year and by then, they aren't a newborn. My friend referred me to Ann Lyle and I am SOOO GLAD SHE DID. Despite being so close to Christmas, I contacted her anyway just to see and once she told me she had availability, I took it! She has a quick response time and pictures may take up to two weeks. She was able to get it to us sooner. The experience was awesome. She has a new studio in Framingham. There is plenty of parking spaces. The suite is on the L floor. The studio is so pretty! There are so many lovely props and backgrounds and it is so comfortable to not have to worry about anything. Ann is super down to earth and very relatable. From my experience of having many professional photographers from my engagement to wedding to family and to another newborn, Ann is the best! Her photos are so amazing and she made my newborn look like a beautiful princess. You will not regret it! She also offers a mini session which was perfect for us because all we needed were a few great pictures for our wall. read more

Hidden gem if you are looking for an amazingly talented and kind photographer in Boston area. We used Ann for our newborn shoot and our son was super fussy and difficult (sigh!) but she was a dream to work with! She has her ways with babies and our shoot came out amazing and beyond what I've imagined.. the whole process from booking, shoot to getting our photos were a smooth and easy process. Her studio has parking (for mom with children this is a major +++) and her studio was beautiful and had snacks! Thank you Ann and look forward to many more shoots with you read more

We had a great experience with Ann for my kid's cake smash session. She is very professional and I love her photography styles. Her studio provides high quality service too. The final photos are so lovely and I am glad to choose her as our photographer. Highly recommend! read more

I had a newborn session with Ann a couple weeks ago and she was amazing! The way she expertly handles babies is mesmerizing - my daughter did not wake up once during any of the outfit or scene changes. I have no idea how she does it, but she is definitely a pro (and can swaddle like it's nobody's business)! It was such a fun morning in the studio for the session. The photos themselves were stunning and we could not be happier with the results. The biggest challenge is trying to decide which of the beautiful photos to print & hang in our living room! read more

We had a lovely photo session with our newborn here. The space was just great for lots of different types of photography for young children. We picked her because of her variety of different newborn pictures without just one particular motif. Her space inside is huge and fits the needs of multiple different families. Inside the main newborn room is a very well temperature controlled (warm) room to help newborns sleep. She did a great job being able to settle our fussy baby and accommodate feedings over the course of the long newborn picture session to turn on some really great photos. She was very gracious with a really well prepared set up and we can't recommend her highly enough. I'll definitely be coming back here for more photos for our family. She was able to capture the essence of our daughter, our personality, and our love for her in just a couple short hours. We like that she was not pretentious, was easy-going very, flexible and gave us old fashioned quintessential customer service. Thanks Ann read more

We did our newborn pictures with Ann and they came out amazing! We picked our color scheme from her past photo shoots on Instagram and she had everything organizers when we got there. She was so experienced with babies and made it all go by so quickly and easily! We are so happy with the results. Highly recommend. read more

Absolutely the best!! We had done several family portraits through different photographers(we won one photo session through auction; another was recommended by a friend) and every time one of us would see the mistakes made: poor lightning, odd position, etc, etc. This time I have decided to do research and as soon as I saw Ann's photographs I knew she was the one for us. It's hard to photograph four kids and make them look perfect but she did! I am so impressed with her! She really is the best! read more

Ann is fantastic. She has a private studio on her property, it's very comfortable. Ann is great at what she does. She did my daughter's newborn shoot and most recently her 3 month photos. Ann is open to any ideas as well as brings her own creative ideas. If you are looking for a newborn or child photographer, call Ann! During our newborn shoot, my LO had a hard time sleeping, but Ann never once made us feel rushed or like we were bothering her while we were trying to calm the baby into sleep. A similar thing happened during our 3 month shoot, we had to take a break and feed the baby, and not once did Ann make us feel rushed or awkward. Her photos come out beautiful. I can't say enough positive things, try her for yourself! read more

I typically don't write reviews unless my experience is very bad or very very good, but Ann Lyle is an amazing photographer, and a wizard with tiny newborns, so I had to say something about it. First, since this is the most important thing, the photos came out better than I had hoped. She took so many, and they were all so different. When we received them my husband and I teared up just seeing our little guy all bundled and extra cute. They were beyond a huge hit for Christmas presents for our family. Second, she has an amazing way with babies. She's so gentle, and you can tell, she really does love what she does, and loves the little ones she's photographing...even if the baby takes a solid 1/2 hour to go to sleep like ours did. She taught me all of these soothing methods that I didn't know about, since I'm a first time mom. Third, her transparent pricing, and quite frankly very affordable compared to other photographers was a main reason I went to her. Some of the others were charging the same amount I paid for my wedding, and required a consultation just to find out how much we'd be charged. I couldn't recommend her more, and I thank her for such a pleasant experience. read more

I don't usually take the time to write yelp reviews but felt impelled to write about what a wonderful experience I had. From the moment I walked into the studio Ann was so easy going(let's be honest it can be stressful trying to pack up and get out with a newborn!). Ann was beyond professional and personable. Prior to our session she knew if there was any specific back drops, colors or themes. I walked into the studio and she had everything organized and ready to go. I have to say she nailed it! I looked at many portfolios of local photographers and I'm so glad I found Ann. Pictures of the session were sent within 2 weeks and I'm so thrilled with the quality and what she delivered. We will have these pictures to cherish forever! If you are looking for not just a picture but for art look no further you found the person to capture them. Thank you Ann, we are in love with your work and look forward to working with you again! read more

Enough cannot be said about Ann's extraordinary talent and creativity! Her photos beautifully captured our son, his little personality, and our family. Our newborn session was a wonderful experience. Ann immediately made us feel welcome and was extremely patient throughout our time together. We are looking forward to working with Ann again! read more

We brought our one week old son to Ann for a newborn photo shoot. She was phenomenal!! Very laid back, relaxed, and warm. She clearly loves children and worked as a "baby whisperer" between shots. While Ann had plenty of great ideas, props, and costumes, she was open to our ideas as well. We will definitely be going back! read more
