I let me husband rate The Ice Queen because he tried it at the food truck rodeo. One of our friends raved about how awesome it was and my husband said that it lived up to the hype. It was extremely hot but luckily they had a little technique going the lady would go through the line take your orders and then you just had to pay and the ice cream sandwiches took about 5 mins to come out. The people were all very nice and seemed to manage the ground well. One thing that I liked was that they let you order a cookie if you weren't getting ice cream so that's what my son did. My husband ended up ordering thin mint. They don't provide spoon because they said that it's a cheat stick lol! Great ice cream truck and I would definitely recommend it to all ice cream lovers.

If you have not been here, you are missing out! Not only can you select a different cookie for each side of the sandwich, but you can get two different flavors of ice cream on the inside too! These sandwiches are massive, but pretty affordable considering how much dessert you get. The best part about this dessert truck are the ice cream flavor and cookie selections! There are so many delicious flavors and unique combinations. I cannot recommend this dessert truck enough-- it is definitely worth tracking down!

I got to try the truck at a local ice cream festival. I ordered the king kong sandwich and it was so good. I loved the banana pudding ice cream. The cookies were the perfect texture and the ice cream was also the perfect temperature for enjoying my sandwich. It was huge and worth 5 dollars. I can't wait to try another sandwich.

The Ice Queen has my favorite ice cream treat in all of NC. And I stand by that statement. Their ice cream cookie sandwiches are amazing. And there's so many ice cream options (which sometimes makes it hard to pick one). Oh, and the chocolate chip cookies are packed with chocolate and taste delicious. Always wondered if they make their own cookies? Does anyone know? For $5, you get two scoops of ice cream sandwiched between two amazing cookies. And, the ladies that work their events are always so friendly. The Ice Queen truck can be found at different food truck rodeos and events in downtown Greensboro. Whenever I see her truck, I have to treat myself. Oh, and they made ice cream for dogs. Best part? It's free! Seriously, I can't say enough positive things about the Ice Queen. So if you ever come across their truck, you HAVE to try their cookie sandwiches.

Delicious! Selection of ice cream sammiches made with two scoops of ice cream and two chocolate chip cookies. Also have scoops of ice cream and toppings available. Yum!

I was excited to finally be able to try out this food truck. Especially after seeing the cookie sandwich shots in 1808 Greensboro over the Summer. I was not disappointed! The cookie sandwich was pretty much impossible to eat. But, I mean who cares? I was more into the tasty novelty of the whole thing. I appreciated all of their creative cookie sandwich combinations. I ended up going with the PB& J, peanut butter ice cream, strawberry ice cream, all smushed together between two delicious chocolate chip cookies. My friend went for the one covered in sprinkles and she was not disappointed. I would go back to this food truck again for sure.

Went to Food truck Friday in downtown Greensboro. Of course, I HAD to get dessert. This truck had one of the longest lines, so I figured it MUST be good. Meh...I was really expecting Diddy Reese (UCLA) status..far from it. The cookies were pretty stale. SO disappointing. There wasn't anything spectacular about the ice cream either. I got the Cookie Monster. Which was cookies and cream ice cream, an Oreo, and chocolate ice cream between two stale chocolate chip cookies. All of their cookie sandwiches are $5, which is a fair price considering how big it is. I wish they had other cookies besides chocolate chip, snicker doodle cookies would have been a great option. I don't think I'll be purchasing another 1000 calories from them again. I'll save the $5 and extra 12 mile run for something else.

I don't know if we caught them on an off day, but unfortunately neither my husband nor I liked the chocolate chip cookies. They tasted old and prepackaged. Now my husband LOVES choc chip cookies and the fact that he didn't want the two from my sandwich speaks volumes. I had a mix of the coconut and vanilla ice cream. I really enjoyed the coconut one that had a lot of shredded coconut mixed in. My husband had the chocolate and cookies and cream. I may give this place another try to have the other cookie flavors (they were sold out the day we went). The 4 ice cream flavors we tasted pretty average overall. Each sandwich is $5, which I think is reasonable, but the taste was not there for us.

The Sammiches are great, the smile is even better. Catch her at the coliseum or a food truck rodeo. You won't be disappointed.

Do you have a "regular" spot somewhere or do you just go to local events? How can we find out where you are during the week and weekends

Hello, Laurie. We don't have any regular spots since special events keep us extremely busy. I try to keep up with putting my public events on my Facebook page. You can always shoot me a text and ask. I'll always respond!

The hardest part was deciding what to order because there are so many flavors and fun creations to choose from. I also loved that the toppings are included, so you can really customize your dessert without feeling nickel-and-dimed. The shop is bright, clean, and has such a fun atmosphere that makes you want to hang out for a while. The ice cream was rich, creamy, and the portions were generous. We couldn't finish it all! The staff were amazing really sweet young ladies. It's one of those places that's perfect after dinner, a shopping day, or just because you're craving something sweet. It was A LOT, portion-wise, which is never a bad thing. Flavor was great. It wasn't as aggressively sweet you think. This was a fun place to try. Staff and guests were in good spirits, it was clean, there was a fun playlist going, just an overall good experience.

They have a few coolers with many flavors of ice cream available. The workers were happy to offer us samples and in the end I got 2 scoops, one of some sort of Cookie Monster blue cookies and creamish style ice cream and I believe brownie batter. Both flavors were delicious and they hit the spot for a sweet treat craving. The shop is small with only one or two tables inside, but a small patio outside to sit and enjoy your treat. Pricing seems to be on par with other local ice cream shops, and service was helpful and friendly. I'd recommend this spot to others.

It is located in a small strip mall off North Main Street with plenty of parking. The front of the Ice Cream Shop is decorated very lively and you can see how much they appreciate their High Point University customers from a large welcome sign they have up letting them know this. The first thing that got my attention when I went in, besides how clean and organized the place was, was the great variety of offerings they had. I've been in order Ice Cream Parlors that serve Hershey's Ice Cream before and was aware of the many flavors they have to offer, but here besides the 64 flavors, they seem to have a variety of ways to have your ice cream, as well as other items such as smoothies and frozen lemonade, just to name a few. And to motivate you to explore the different ways of having your ice cream, they have pictures on the wall showing them. Even though the place was small with very few tables and chairs, it was already decorated for the Fall with colored leaves all over and small pumpkins on the table, creating a festive ambiance in which to enjoy some good ice cream. A young lady greated me with a smile and gave me a warm welcome. Since I was in the area to attend a Dinner Party that evening, I didn't want to get anything large; just a medium size cup of a nice flavor ice cream. The employee was so nice and helpful that when I asked her about a flavor besides explaining it she offered to give me a try on a tiny spoon. I tried the flavor Road Runner Raspberry and I instantly loved it. I invite you to view my photographs accompanying this review to read about what this flavor contained and see for yourselves how good it looked for a picture is worth a thousand words. I enjoyed having this wonderful flavor ice cream and the High Point University sign in the entrance made me remember my college years in Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts, and how much I enjoyed going out with my friends for some ice-cream. I highly recommend this Ice Cream Shop and thank the owners of this family-owned business for providing this sweet spot where members of the community can come to spend some quality time with family and friends while they savor some good ice-cream.
