Dr. Tammy is very talented and intuitive - she is kind, warm, and makes you feel very comfortable. I was recommended to her by her sister after my boyfriend and I did couples therapy there. I decided to do individual therapy and was impressed after my first session. I suffer from anxiety time to time and have never figured out the root of the problem. The hypnosis is like a deep guided meditation and Dr. Tammy has helped me figure out what the source of my anxiety is. She has given me the tools and techniques I need to heal. It's still a journey I am on but each time I go see her I feel a huge weight off my shoulder. I would recommend her to anyone! read more

Wow. Where do I even begin? I found Dr. Tammy googling hypnotherapy, her reviews were glowing (rightfully so) which inspired me to make an appointment. I never could have imagined what a massive transformation she would help me achieve in just a few months. I have been able to manifest new job opportunities, better personal relationships, and greater understanding of who I am and my goals. Dr. Tammy helped me set intentions and acted as an accountability partner. She gave me the push and confidence I needed to stop overthinking and just do. She's firm yet understanding and really easy to talk to. I always leave our sessions in a better mood and much more motivated. Not to mention the hypnotherapy is the cherry on top. It's essentially a visual meditation that makes manifesting even more powerful. She truly is the best - I'm so thankful I found her! read more

Dr. Tammy is incredible. I was honestly a little skeptical and not sure she could help me, but boy did she. I felt better from the moment I first spoke to her on the phone and better every meeting and conversation after that. She really pulled me out of a slump and set my mead straight. Insightful, intelligent, understanding, compassionate... If there were 6 stars available, I'd give her that! read more

Dr Tammy is awesome. 1) I wouldn't openly admit to going to a hypnotherapist if I didn't believe that she is a great doc! 2) Every time I leave her office I feel as if I'd just meditated for an hour. 3) She's a results oriented Dr that focuses on the overall picture and as a macro level thinker, this works great for me! 4) Her focus on self actualization and the metaphysical aspects of the universal whole bring an overall picture together that I find helpful. If you are looking for a therapist that's more than a stereotypical coach session professional, go to Dr Tammy. 5 Stars! read more

I couldn't speak more highly of Dr. Tammy. She's kind, compassionate, positive, and honest. Every session feels like some sort of revelation, big or small, and she manages to bring it out in the most nuanced ways. She'll nudge you in certain directions, but the discoveries are always your own. And there hasn't been a single session where I didn't walk away feeling lighter. You just keep finding pieces of this massive puzzle you didn't know were there. It's pretty remarkable. Highly recommend. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Tammy for a few months now, and was skeptical to leave a review because I am a pretty private person. But, being a therapist myself, I felt it was important to share my experience to decrease the stigma about mental health treatment, and maybe help someone that is looking for a good therapist/hypnotherapist. I found Dr. Tammy at a time in my life when I was ready to work through some family of origin issues that were negatively impacting my life. She has welcomed me, supported me, encouraged me and challenged me to get to the heart of where I need to go to heal. This path to healing isn't an easy one, but I look forward to seeing her for our sessions, and I always leave feeling like I have done something good for myself. Dr. Tammy is a wonderful, warm, and intuitive healer! read more

Been working with Tammy for the past few weeks on a referral from a friend. I have been through a ton of therapists in my life and to finally work with a Dr that specializes in hypnotherapy, I feel as though I found the lane that really works for me. She speaks a vast language of self work and improvement and is not shy to help you realize the truth to issues within the self. Her practice so far has allowed me to see issues I have struggled with from an outside perspective and gain a clarity on my life and who I am that I don't feel as though regular talk therapy can achieve. Tammy is incredibly gentle and never imposes her opinions. She is great at helping to guide you to your own conclusions and helps you through any sort of confusion on how to make great and necessary changes you may need to make in your life! Very happy to be working with her! read more

She is an amazing soul that will help you find deficiencies within yourself that self awareness can resolve. It's one thing to know where it hurts but another to identify and treat a painful thought. If you are not willing to keep an open mind then this isn't for you. You can be skeptical but must open your mind and absorb a new way to think. It is a coaching session that worked for me but only after time and commitment. Don't plan on a one hour session, plan on a journey of release. She has always been fair and reasonable with me and my family! I sleep a lot better these days! read more

We were lucky to find Dr. Tammy. My teenage Son suffers from depression and anxiety. He failed the driving test three times and the thought of taking the test again was paralyzing. After spending several sessions with Dr. Tammy, both discussing his fears and using hypnotherapy to help relax he passed the test on his 4th attempt. Dr. Tammy has been an amazing influence on our Son. Now that we have passed the pressing issue we are encouraging him to continue his sessions to address his depression and anxiety. I have absolutely loved working with Dr. Tammy and her unique approach to therapy. With her help, I've been able to dig deep, explore what I need to change, and begin to approach life with self-actualization. I'm so much more confident today - and genuinely happy - because I'm owning who I am and being me. I can't thank Dr. Tammy, as well as Dr. Stephanie Hunter (they work together if clients request) for truly turning my life around. I'm such a stronger woman thanks to both of their genuine guidance and support. THANK YOU! read more

Dr. Tammy is really wonderful. She is easy to connect with and makes you feel very comfortable. I've been to therapy before which was also very helpful but after moving to the valley, I needed a new therapist and a new technique on how to work through things - and Dr. Tammy was that answer. Not only do I work on myself through talking things out with Dr. Tammy, but we also do a lot a work through hypnotherapy. One of the best decisions in my life was almost 2 years ago when I quit smoking by getting hypnotized. Hypnotherapy has helped me to subconsciously think about situations in a different way and Dr. Tammy has been there coaching me through this journey - thank you Dr. Tammy!! read more

Tammy Hunter is truly one of the most amazing people in my life. I cannot even begin to explain how grateful I am to have her in my life and seeing her is always the highlight of my week. She has helped me SO incredibly much on my self-empowerment and has helped me accomplish things I never thought I would be able to after only 7 weeks. I struggled with self-confidence as well as co-dependence and had issues trying to be happy on my own to live a healthy life. I never have felt so comfortable telling someone so much about myself because she is so nonjudgmental and I know she is only going to use the information to my benefit. I'm moving 30 minutes away but there is no way I am going to stop seeing her because of how important our relationship is to me. Not only is she an amazing person, she really is an incredible business woman and always makes my life easier by sending appointment reminder texts and by being so easy to schedule an appointment with (even last minute)! The time I have spent improving my life with Dr. Hunter truly is priceless and I would never have gotten this far with my self-confidence and overall quality of life and happiness with anyone else! read more

I saw Dr Tammy just three times but apparently it was a charm. I went to her as I was gearing up to do my 3rd round of IVF. My husband and I were trying to get pregnant for 2.5 years with no success. In my first visit she told me that I have to change my belief to start believing that I was going to have a child. I didn't realize it but apparently I believed that I would be that woman who tried and tried to get pregnant and remained childless. It was eye opening when she pointed out that I believed this as even though it was so true, I hadn't realized it before. Then she had me write on a paper over and over again before I went to bed, "I am pregnant". It seemed silly at first but with the hypnosis where she walked me through guided imagery envisioning my babies, it worked. My IVF was successful and I'm now 16 weeks pregnant. I just couldn't believe it worked so fast. She's amazing! I highly recommend her for any issue you're going through. She is warm, positive and I always walked out feeling better. And it worked!! read more
