The pre-session conversations were a mutually useful set of informations, while I also learnt about the importance of EFT tapping. I've been practicing tapping in numerous situations, both when home and outside, in situations when I needed a boost of calmness, concentration and inner peace. With the hypnosis itself, my anxious state completely disappeared. I dove deeply into myself to find some answers that were lying hidden deep beneath in my Unconscious. With her calm and supportive human approach, Margaret helped me through that very process of diving and discovery. That was the experi-ence which kept me under impressions many days after. The effect that the hypnotherapy session had on me is incomparable to any other feeling, stimulus or tactile sensation I previously knew. The experiment I wasn't afraid to try out (many of my friends openly told me they wouldn't be ready to try hypnosis) re-turned with numerous positive effects, that I can still recall at this moment. What then? Enter Caroline. I won't try to detail my experience, because yours will be different. What I can tell you is that in some ways the most remarkable part of my sessions with her was how much I did. I can remember the exact moment it occurred to me she wasn't going to give me any answers, she was going to get me to give the answers. At first this recognition set off alarm bells - all the usual noise of 'if I haven't figured it out yet, why would I now?!' Or, 'if I could figure this stuff out I wouldn't be here so how could I?!' But lo and behold whatever it is she does created a different space/place in myself to address the questions. The net effect was that for the first time I felt like I had discovered answers within myself. It wasn't smoke and mirrors, or some re-aligned high that would fade at first contact with old habits, or a different world view that I could pretend was mine for a day or two until shit got real and I reverted.
