    Breaded tenderloin
    Vicki W.

The breaded tenderloins are without a doubt the best I've ever had and I do mean the BEST. This sandwich would've fed a family of four easily. Just divide and add your own buns! Most tenderloins this large are pounded so thin you can't find the pork for the breading. Not so here. The whole thing was 3/4 to 1 inch thick. They also buy the biggest buns available. We also ordered a cheese pizza. Save your money on the pizza. The cheese was very thick and well, just weird. It didn't smell or taste like any cheese I've ever had on pizza. Crust was thick and chewy. I understand their fried fish is great too (cod or catfish) but no one at our table had either. While we were there a major employer in town ordered 40 tenderloins so rest assured this is the real deal. The atmosphere is plain. Decor is plain but dining room was clean. Service good considering we were contending with a large to go order.

Typical dive bar, with the largest, best tenderloin we've ever had. They have a bar area and a family room. The bar had several locals, but everyone was friendly. You can get a whole tenderloin which is as everyone else has said could easily feed four people, And I am not exaggerating. Their whole tenderloin I believe was $8.25. They also have a half for six dollars. It Easily fed my husband and I. The beer was cold and the food was good. Would definitely come back when in the area.

There was a live band (the reason we sought out this place) and they charge a $5/pp cover charge. Their menu is basic bar food - mozzarella sticks, burgers, poppers, fries, etc. (no wings). The burgers looked REALLY good and everyone was ordering them but we weren't hungry enough to get one. We arrived around 7:15PM and stayed until last call. We each had 4-5 beers in that time (since we had to drive out of there on back country roads) and we split an order of mozzarella sticks and our total bill was only $30! Amazing! Note: they do allow smoking, almost everyone in there was smoking, and the ventilation system didn't do much to help the air flow. At one point my eyes were burning pretty bad - but it's a dive bar and I was not expecting it to be non-smoking. It's a cool little joint and I'm glad we went!
