Very nice ambience and outdoor seatings. There's a few tables outdoors and with a covering. Friendly staff. They have different events during the week, such as trivia night and karaoke night. Draft beers were under $10 regularly. Cocktails are about $12-15. I liked the Penicillin (scotch based). A bit small, but tasty. It wasn't that strong though. I had a beer after that.

Great spot on the UES! Great selection of beers and I enjoyed my Moscow mule. They have different nights of activities and my boyfriend and I were there on Thursday so it was karaoke night! Good vibes all around, and even though it was crowded inside and outside there was still good attentive service. Would return to this bar!

Stopped by the Hunterian for a few drinks after dinner. It happened to be Karaoke night which was fun. Drinks are reasonably priced and service was quick & friendly. I'd go back!

Looking for an Irish bar that's about being an Irish-style bar first and foremost? Maybe this tiny one with a common table would suit you too. We had been to visit new baby twins at a nearby hospital. To celebrate that joy (and take advantage of happy hour), we went here for a Bloody Mary and a Pilsner. The Pilsner being poured was exceptional. Bloody just ok but an ok price too. We just had a drink here. Place was crowded and a bit noisy. Suited us for a happy hour cheers to the twins! If you want spaciousness, this isn't your place. If you want positive vibe, maybe it is.

A very cute bar in the upper east side. Definitely on the small side but we were lucky that they were plenty of seats at the bar. The food menu is very very limited. The espresso martini was well. Made but in a very small coop glass. I asked for it not to be too sweet, but it was. The Pinot noir was good. Bartender is super friendly Irish guy. If I could, I would give it 3 1/2 stars just because the bartender was such a great guy.

Great cocktails and a really cute outdoor setup! Service is laidback and not overbearing. This is a great spot for chill drinks with friends or a casual date where you don't want anything too fussy but still want a good cocktail. Really like this spot!

Come for the delicious cocktails, stay for the atmosphere and people. If you're in the area, you need to visit this warm place. Say hi to Alan.

We went there on the first Saturday after indoor dining became allowed again, so we were happy to have a drink inside a bar after so many months! We felt quite safe as we walked in, it looks like they are following all the necessary measures and they make you fill out a form that I guess it is pretty standard now during Covid19 times. Even though the outdoor seating area was full, the inside was quite empty, which was great! The bar is cozy and well decorated, I love the fall touch that they gave to the place! Our bartender was super nice and attentive and the drinks were amazing! They really know what they are doing! We got to try a few drinks: their classic Old Fashioned, Moscow Mule, Manhattan, Bees Knees and Hot Spiked Apple Cider, everything was amazing! Their Hot Spiked Apple Cider is the perfect fall drink! I must also comment on their music playlist as it was great! I really enjoyed the 80s rock hits and some other great songs they were playing! I was very happy to find this whisky bar in the neighborhood and I will definitely come back!

Ambiance, drinks and service were all great. Would highly recommend sitting by the front windows on a rainy day. Dog friendly inside!

The Hunterian is a wonderful blend of classic and new. It's sophistication without snobbery.

The service is fabulous, the wine list has been changed. Very appreciative of our server allowing us to sample the wine before deciding. Definitely recommend the Parlour Room.

There's a song by Sade called "Never as Good as the First Time." Although the song is about love,…read moreand not dining, I've found that when I have an impeccably perfect time at a restaurant, the subsequent visits just don't measure up to that first time. And this isn't entirely the restaurant's fault: when, as a customer, you've already tasted a good part of the menu, seen the decor, experienced the good service and ambience, it's really hard for future visits to be "as good as the first time." But then there's Parlour Room that dazzles me every time I visit New York. Last Saturday we sat at the same booth as our first visit and were lucky enough to have Jesus as a server again. I was so excited to see him. We had so much food that we had to take a good amount to go, but let me give you the rundown. New things we tried this time: Octopus: I've never had octopus in my life. And I've never wanted to try it. No interest at all. But a Parlour Room suggestion? Okay, sure. I trust it. And guess what? 10/10 Ribs: The presentation was pretentious in the best way, but still, my expectations weren't too high. BUT they rivaled the best soul food restaurant. Fall off the bone and full of flavor. I couldn't believe it. Another 10/10 Mac and cheese: I wasn't enthusiastic about ordering this because I didn't want all the carbs and cheese. Then I couldn't stop eating it. 10/10 The usuals: burger and fries, meatballs, and deviled eggs. Always 10/10, or 5 stars, in Yelp standards. :) The drinks and dessert were unbelievably decadent as well. As usual. What an evening. One more thing...They changed the menu recently, and in my experience, that usually means some sort of disappointment as you discover they've gotten rid of your favorite dish, added uninteresting things, and/or consolidated the offerings in general. But Parlour Room was thoughtful in this regard--unlike anything I've seen before. And what a relief. When I didn't think the menu could get any more perfect, they went and concocted another level of perfection. Oh, I love this place.
