Was concerned about it being too cold in the winter months, but heat was working just fine. There were some coat racks available, too. The bar prices were reasonable, with a nice selection of tap and cans, and seltzers and other options available for the non-beer drinkers among us. Sodas and non-alcoholic options were also on the menu. The staff at the Hangar was pleasant and helpful, through and through and the sound was good throughout all bands. We parked a couple of blocks up the street; parking at the venue is limited, but finding parking in Troy is rarely an issue.

The space was also very private so we were able to use it as a kid hang space during cocktails for our children (a ring barer and the flower girl). We showed our tickets and then took the elevator upstairs to the third floor where the performances happen. There isn't much seating where the performances happened. That's what made it all the better! The building is historic and really cool. Buffalo Bill Cody, John Philip Sousa, and P.T. Barnum's baby elephant have all performed there decades ago. As others have said, the drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but when you compare it to going to a show at say, SPAC these days it was actually a few bucks cheaper per-drink. We started the night at The Eleven, the bar attached to the venue which was also very nice. My girlfriend had one of their signature cocktails, the coffee based one (can't remember the name) and I tasted it and thought it was great. I was a bit disappointed by their whiskey selection, but they had the basics which worked fine. Overall, we had an amazing time and I will definitely be going back to check out more live music here.

As a cider fan I'm glad they have many varieties and hope to see some more brands make an appearance on the menu. The bathroom was clean and well stocked although there is only one bathroom so later in the night it became a bit of a wait. Only other very minor gripes are I wish there was a few more tables because sometimes it's good to just sit down and the sound mixing can be on the loud side for an indoor performance.
