I came across Muddy Studio during my search and decided to give it a try. At $140 for a month--three hours a day, once a week--I thought it was a great, budget-friendly hobby to enjoy. From the very first class, our instructor, Sam, taught us pottery in great detail. Sam majored in pottery and was incredibly kind, thorough, and helpful. Now that I've finished my first month, I've decided to sign up for another month! I truly believe this place is an excellent option for anyone looking for a hobby. The studio owners are also wonderfully nice, and the atmosphere is so friendly that everyone can easily become friends. If you need some healing from your busy daily routine, you should definitely give it a try! Parking can be a bit challenging, but it's not impossible since you can just park on the street and walk over.

All members supported me and encouraged to stay. I see progress in my speaking skills with every meeting. The main idea of this particular club - no topic is taboo. I like this very much because we can discuss a lot of topic and listen other other points of view.

I have been to other toastmaster clubs and this one by far is one of the best...if not THE best in…read morethe area. Here are a couple of things that really made this club special. 1st thing is that everyone is so welcoming. The very first time I visited this club I felt extremely welcomed. 2nd thing is that this club is not afraid to talk about any topic. They really live by their motto "No topic is taboo" because I heard speeches and talks on very controversial topics such as politics, religion, and sex to name a few. What is remarkable though is how everyone is so respectful of other people's opinion that the club really creates a safe space to talk about anything. 3rd thing is that the members are very diverse from age, race, gender, occupation, family, recreation. There are young 25 yr olds all the way to 65+ both male and female that are engineers, sales, c level executives, students, entrepreneurs, single, married, kids, no kids, as wells as people from all the continents (except Antarctica...nobody really lives there). If anything just visit the club and see what it's all about.

OC Craft Runners was established in 2015 and is Orange County's longest-running weekly run around a…read morebrewery. Every Monday at 7, the Organizers host a run that begins and ends at a great local brewery. It's usually a 5k and the course is typically in a rectangle around many streets, so those wanting to do a shorter run can cut it shorter by taking an earlier turn. Here's how it goes. Many people of all shapes, sizes and running abilities, some with dogs, some with kids, some by themselves and some with larger subgroups all gather at whatever brewery the run is planned at. How do they find out about it? They see the venue and usually the planned running course on Instagram. So all these people show up and then the Organizers make a couple announcements/comments on the route. Then we all take a group picture and we're off. The energy is palpable and the vibe is amazing. You run as part of a pack, but everyone settles into whatever pace is right for them and the clump of runners spread out as time passes. Everyone is SO nice and neighbors in the area tend to smile when they see 100+ people running happily down the road. When the run is done, most everyone orders a beer and/or food. You definitely don't have to drink, but a craft beer tastes really good after a nice 5k. This group also does a smaller run on Thursdays. I hear they are often a trail run but I've never been to one. We've been on 2 runs with OC Craft Runners and LOVE everything about it. The runners are so kind and welcoming. The energy is infectious. And we loved bringing our son, who ran the first mile with us and then climbed in his stroller to get pushed the rest of the way. We would go every week, but 7pm is tough now that school has started. We will definitely be back!

We looked into some programs, but found none close enough to fit into our busy lives. Then after talking with a friend, we contacted the coach with Equalizers. One try-out was all it took for my daughter to want to join this group of young runners. Currently I have three runners in different levels within Coach Jerry's program. From a beginner running with little or no competitive experience to runners who can complete several miles without slowing down, this program supports and empowers each of them. I have seen their running times decrease while their stamina increase over the last 5 months. They look forward to the practices and the challenge the races and track meets offer. As a parent that enjoys running, this program is a WIN for us all. The group that meets in the Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley area is great. The kids are so supportive of each other despite their differences in abilities. We also found time in our life to join the larger Tustin Equalizer runners during the week for an extra workout. If you have a child that enjoys running, wants to compete, or wants to use it to condition their bodies for the demands of other sporting activities---this running club is a great idea!
