In March of 2021 my house flooded and I also lost my car. I needed help and guidance on next steps, and I really wanted to make sure I was protected since I had heard how much insurance will try to go the cheap route. A friend referred me to FirstCall, so I went with them from the start - to make sure I got as much insurance money as possible by negotiating with the insurance company and also for them to guide and take on the main communications with insurance so I could have something off my plate. I had enough other things to worry about! I was very disappointed in this entire experience. My public adjuster did not meet any of his own deadlines and he wasn't thorough. I had to review all of his work and ask for multiple corrections or point out things that were missing. He did not proactively negotiate on anything. I had to ask him for everything and to push for this or that with the insurance company. He was not proactive at all with me, and I had to drive everything...asking for status, where things are at, etc. The exact opposite of what I was promised from this arrangement. Also, the insurance adjuster started calling me directly because my public adjuster wasn't responding to him and there were deadlines that had to be met for getting my claim details nailed down. YIKES. When the insurance company sent me the first check, my public adjuster got very involved (for the first time!) and started hounding me for his payment. All the while he still had multiple outstanding items with the insurance adjuster that he had not done. I wish he had been as eager to fight for me (like I had hired FirstCall for) as he was to get his check. In summary, FirstCall was a big sum of money I had to pay and I don't feel like I got the value out of it to make it worth it. In fact I got the opposite. I regret that I went with them because it caused me more work and mental energy, more frustration, and just overall anger on top of the huge flooding event that I'd already been through. Would NOT recommend.

    We are current customer with FirstCall Claims and I've been leaving messages calling, texts,…read moreemails literally begging to get anyone to return my call. FirstCall did not contact me but another customer contacted me struggling with the very same problem. So, FirstCall if you actually do care about your customer and holding insurance companies accountable then how about returning the calls from Allstate. It's bad when the company you are "trying to hold accountable" can't get you (public adjuster) to return calls! I started a list with another customer FirstCall is ghosting, and she is an older adult..., shame on you FirstCall you should know better! You should DO better. Tell the truth and communicate with your customers. My Senior Claims Adjustor is Jason Summers. Jason took over after Spencer left in October, although we were not updated until the end of November. Jason said he turned us over to another public adjuster, Alex Poke. Ms. Alex Poke never contacted us. FirstCall DID NOT follow up with Allstate since December 15. In fact, FirstCall had other customers documents in our file and apparently "Hawkins" and "Gerald" is missing their stuff and their claim is also screwed up. Allstate closed our claim because FirstCall failed to respond or even represent us. I think it is criminal and an absolute dereliction of duty to run a business in such an unprofessional manner. Let's see if there is any recourse with the Insurance Commissioner. Do your homework, unlike me, stay far away from this company. Look for other public adjusters. Look at reviews and Better Business Bureau.
