Tiffany does not have a very flexible schedule. The conditioning treatment takes 3 hours, and she closes at 7. She is not available Sun - Tuesday. As a teacher, I tutor students after school, and I could not be at her shop by 4 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. So, I made an appointment online for a Friday afternoon. She cancelled it, moved it to Thursday, and called to confirm whether I could make the Thursday appointment. When I spoke with her over the telephone, she indicated that she graciously "would waived the cancellation fee" if I could not make HER rescheduled appointment. I reiterated that I needed (and properly scheduled) a Friday appointment because of my job, and she indicated that she had "regulars" every Friday who would always be there. Therefore, she did not think I would ever be able to have my hair done on a Friday. (This is after I made the appointment online for an available time she had online for a Friday.) She made it clear that she did not want my business, and ENCOURAGED ME TO GET A REFUND on the living social voucher I had purchased.
I'm inclined to think that she is not used to working on white hair or she just doesn't want new business. Either way, she was rude on the telephone, not flexible, and did not give me much confidence that she would do a good job on my hair anyway. RUN, DON'T WALK, away from Tiffany and her "hot seat." read more
