This Home Depot location has been around for a year now. I've visited a number of times and it's just as large as any other Home Depot I've visited in the GTA. Recently, I attended a workshop on ways to enhance the bathroom. There was no one else there, so it felt like a personalized class. I learned how to install a toilet and how to install a vanity. Since there was still a lot of time left, I asked about how to fix some of the issues I've had with my toilets. One was just broken because it would overflow into the anti-siphon. The instructor, Anthony, suggested replacing the fill valve and demonstrated how to replace it. The other problem was a chain that was too long and would prevent the flap from sealing. I picked up a shorter chain.
After the demonstration, I felt comfortable replacing the fill valve myself. Lo and behold, the toilet is usable again. Thanks Anthony!
The multiple times I visited this location, the staff was helpful. There were a few occasions where the staff was too busy, especially when an appliance sale is happening. I've been able to find almost everything I wanted at this store. There were times where they were out of stock. I should have checked the Home Depot website for store stock ahead of time. read more
