How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck worked at this Home Depot? Since the saw works at this Home Depot, quite a lot!
Rob P.

I'm very happy to report the Home Depot stores in Omaha have consistently high levels of support and their staff. Where I live, they don't have nearly as many people available to help, and the stores here are just as busy as they are back home. Having extra people makes a huge difference when you're the customer. This is the second Home Depot I walked into, and they were not only prompt and friendly with their service, but they were able to provide the exact cut on the piece of wood that I needed. And, they were fast. I had to go a few aisles over to pick up a couple of things, and by the time I came back the wood was cut. This one's a little further from my parents house, but it's definitely worth the drive.

I can recommend Harman Appliance for all of your Appliance needs…read more I recently ordered a range hood from them and it was installed but there was a problem and we found the unit to be defective from the factory. Another was ordered promptly but again the manufacture must have had a problem with this model. I switched to another brand that they sold and am completely satisfied with the unit. What I was most impressed with was the great communication and service I received from this company. I felt like I was not just a customer but a personal friend the way they treated me. Monica was a stand out and I would purchase again from them in a heartbeat. Bottom line they carry many top brands and the service is second to none.

They provided us with 3 refrigerators that were all faulty in one way or another. We hadn't even lived in our brand new home for a week and had gone through 3 fridges from this place. When the last one broke the owner "Sheila" told me it wasn't her problem and to call GE. She was very hostile and hung up on me like a child. Unfortunately we had to get our builder involved who then forced them to give us our money back, because even they knew Harmon was ripping us off. We are ideal customers. We paid for everything in cash and made our home accessible to them to come and go when they needed to come in and fix/pick up the fridges. They made us late for work, and miss appointments because of not showing up at the times they told us they'd be there. We dealt with many people while building our home and not one treated us the way Harman did. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! Beware all buyers, go elsewhere!

Things are laid out very well here, so it's really fun to look around at the different items and styles! Things are easily organized by type of products you are looking for, and there's plenty of room to walk around looking, and see all angles of the items for sale. This store, just like Nebraska furniture Mart has FAR too many employees. You can tell they are all commission based. Every time I walk around, between five and 10 employees ask me if I'm finding everything all right. This isn't the worst thing that can happen while you're shopping, but in my opinion, it does get a little annoying, and concerning to see how many employees are without customers to help. Overall, I love coming here for inspiration! I am very picky on the items I buy, so have yet to find something I actually purchased in the store, but hope to someday as the price point is reasonable.

After doing a little research, I purchased solid wood, vanities, here, and got a good deal. Their ceiling light and fan options are good, and reasonably priced as well. Complaint Regarding Failed Delivery -- Store #147, Maple Location…read more My wife and I recently purchased a refrigerator for over $2,000 at the 147th and Maple location. The associate who helped us was very pleasant and confirmed our delivery would be this Thursday. This morning, I received a notice stating the refrigerator would actually be delivered today. Based on that notice, we took the necessary steps to prepare: we removed all perishable items from our existing refrigerator, unplugged it, and defrosted it so it would be ready for the swap -- done as a courtesy to the delivery crew. We waited all day. At approximately 3:00 PM, a truck arrived -- not with our refrigerator, but with a compression hose for a refrigerator component. The driver seemed as confused as I was that no refrigerator was on the truck. I called the store and spoke with an employee who was unsure how to handle the situation, and I was escalated to a manager named Matt, who declined to provide his last name when asked. I explained the situation in full: the notice I'd received, the steps we'd taken in good faith, and the fact that our perishable food had been sitting out and spoiling all day. Matt explained that the delivery was actually being fulfilled by a different store location, and that the incorrect notice was likely their error. I told him that regardless of internal fulfillment logistics, this company was my point of purchase, and the responsibility for accurate communication rests with them -- not with me. He was polite and apologetic, but stated there was nothing he could do: it was too late in the day to correct, and the refrigerator would now not arrive until tomorrow. When I asked how the company intended to compensate for the inconvenience -- spoiled food, a wasted day, and a defrosted, unusable refrigerator -- I was told there would be no compensation, only an apology. Unfortunately, this isn't an isolated incident. Not long ago, I purchased a dishwasher from this same company, which included a paid installation service as part of the purchase. When the installation crew arrived, they were unable to determine how to shut off the water source to the installation area and, as a result, could not complete the job. I ended up having to hire and pay for my own plumber just to get the water shut off so the installation could be finished. I was partially refunded for the installation fee, but was left without a working dishwasher for several additional days in the meantime. Between the mishandled dishwasher installation and now this refrigerator delivery failure, I'm seeing a clear pattern: poor internal coordination, a lack of preparedness, and -- when things go wrong -- no meaningful accountability or compensation for the customer's time, money, or inconvenience. I'll leave it to others to judge whether this is acceptable conduct from a major retailer after two large purchases, both made and prepared for in good faith. From where I stand, this reflects a recurring failure at the operational level that the company seems unwilling to own. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with this company again.
