I checked online before coming in and the website showed 23 antifreeze units in stock. When I arrived every shelf was empty even though there were plenty of boxes sitting right above the aisle. The store was not busy at all and yet no one was available or willing to help. I waited, looked around, and eventually gave up and left with nothing. Home Depot used to represent customer service and reliability but now it is clearly get it yourself or do not bother coming in. This is the third time I have had an issue with Home Depot delivering something to me. This time they cancelled half the order, delivered a $15 item and charged me $35 for the deliver. I knew about the $35 when I ordered and went with it. Had I known they didn't have the ground rods I would have cancelled the whole order and drove to home depot. Last time I reached out to customer service, their answer was they couldn't do anything to help me and to reach out to the home depot I placed the order with. I did and they said they couldn't help! Then they told me come in and speak with a manager. It's outrageous. I asked their customer service, why have customer service if you can't help your customers? She had no answer. Great. A very good easy to navigate home Depot in Queens that have workers that actually help customers . Plenty of parking , easy to find products while roaming aisle to aisle as I needed a complete toilet assembly and some plumbing supplies as well. Price was reasonable and the job will take about 2 hours which I will absolutely not perform myself . As always while Roaming around I picked up a few more useful things for my white plains apt and that included a new kitchen faucet set that has a hand wave sensor built in that looks fun and useless at the same time . One of the better home Depot I have visited and worth the 20 minute trip from my Astoria apt . Every time I come here for a propane refill, it takes 40 minutes to get someone to unlock the cage. I'm not kidding. That's about the average. I've waited as long as an hour. Yes I go back in every few minutes to ask them to call someone. Yes they do. About 10:1 odds whether they actually show up. I needed some wood cut one time and there was a huge line. The employee was lollygagging. I don't know how else to put it. Then he was rude when we got up there. I needed fertilizer one time no one knew where it was or wanted to help me find someone who did. As far as inventory, they generally have what you need. If you can find it. I'm probably just gonna start paying 3x the price for propane and refills for delivery from some place. Hands down the best Home depot I have ever entered. Here's what I like: 1. Employees- extremely helpful and informative. Knew the stores supplies and locations. Good/bad day I didn't know the difference. 2. Store- extremely clean and well kept. You didn't have to dig for supplies. Everything was laid out and they had a large quantity of supplies. 3. Returns- made easy. We walked in and we were greeted and pointed to the return area. The staff started to ask politely about the reason for the return and how they could help. My return was extremely easy. 4. Parking- no problem, they will have room for your vehicle. My experience was great from start to finish. If I'm not in an emergency I will drive here and spend extra cash just for the service. read more

It's easy enough to get to by bus if you can catch the bus. Got here pretty quickly one evening when I had to return an online order. I was happy to find a Smashburger opened not too far from this location but staff was helpful with my return and selection isn't too bad here. It's definitely much easier to get here if you drive but since this bus doesn't stop too far from me, I don't mind going here if I have some time or really want to go to Smashburger. read more

Recently opened, so excited to come in. Selection is great compared to larger locations. Aisles are small but inventory is really nice. Dislike that the parking is limited on ground level but they have parking on their roof. I came in for a new vanity for the bathroom and a faucet for my kitchen. I was stunned they had really nice inventory compared to Northern blvd, Woodhaven ,and Jamaica. Theres is a lot of staff willing to help and are efficient! Where other home depots they walk away from you or dont ever get the right help for you. They now have sales check them out! read more

I went in there the first week they opened and they were so unorganized and unprofessional, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they just opened up. their online website would tell you that an item is in the store and that there would be more than five of that item. then when you get there, it's not available, go forward two years later the same service, people have no knowledge of what's going on,young workers that are on their phone and don't want to help anybody and basically customer service never updates the store information on that website leading customers on a Wild Goose Chase to a store that never had their item Basically I'd rather drive to the store on Northern Boulevard in Long Island city they're much better than these guys and more reliable. read more

They would not give me credits for inconvenience. The soonest date they could give me for redelivery was 3 days later. They tried to blame it on me. I still do not have my appliances. Easily one of the better Home Depot's in Queens. Granted, it's new, recently opened during the pandemic. Their upkeep is great. Aisles and shelves always look well organized unlike the one in Woodhaven and Flushing. If there are any Ryobi fanboys out there, this location had the clip on fan in stock. For those who don't know, the $20 clip fan was very hard to find at first when it released. I picked up two ryobi fans, I have a ton of 18v ryobi batteries sitting at home and the fan has worked great for us. I highly recommend this fan especially for strollers. It clips on our handlebar snug and the battery life is excellent even with the 1.5 amp. As for the store, it's a much needed location for the area. It diverts people away from the Woodhaven and other surrounding Home Depot's. The people in Maspeth, Middle Village, Sunnyside, and even Williamsburg have a much closer location now. The only problem getting here is the crazy LIE traffic and side road congestion from all the warehouses in the area. Expect a lot of traffic, and watch out for careless truck drivers in the area. They make turns in the neighborhood without a care in the world. read more

We were told that of a foolish policy that items now are only returnable within 90 days and that also we can't exceed a certain number of times per year for returns and we have reached that number and it kept going - just lots of nonsense. I asked for a manager and Danielle said she was the highest ranking person on shift. Many years and several hundreds of thousands and various projects you think perhaps it shows on the computer or POS screen the money spent here and we are just treated like garbage. We gifted the supplies the store said they couldn't accept to someone as it was not about money. The way we were treated was bad. The shift supervisor or whatever her title was dropped a can of paint and now the return section is blue. Serves them right. This review won't be the last one. Our new favorite Home Depot! It recently just opened and is stocked with so many supplies (ex: polyurethane, moulding that isn't bent, etc.). There's ample parking, and if you park on the roof you get a great view of the city. But what really made this location great was Meaghan in Appliances. I don't think I've ever met a Home Depot employee as welcoming, positive, or genuinely kind like Meaghan is. My husband and I were shopping for appliances, and as first time home owners we really needed some guidance. We came to her with questions about similar appliances and she gave her honest recommendations on brands and each appliance's capabilities. In the end, we actually decided on upgraded versions of the appliances we were eyeing online. We're glad we saw it in the store room and happy that Meaghan helped us through such a big decision. We never felt rushed or pressured to buy something that wasn't right for us. She sat with us while we were doing paperwork and suggested we call our contractor to make sure we weren't getting unnecessary equipment. She even spoke with our contractor directly and made sure we got exactly what we needed for our home renovation. So long story short: visit this brand new Home Depot for the most well-stocked items. So I walked in and found the desk to order custom doors. Some workers around but no one can help. I walk up to the customer service desk and find Jazmine.. Jazmine tells me that "if you need to order custom doors we don't know nothing about that". Really?! Why do you have a custom order desk in the door section? She then calls the manager who said someone will help me shortly. I waited 15 minutes and still no one, only to find out that there is a meeting going on and I should just sit and wait like a fool. This is BY FAR the best Home Depot I've ever been to! The employees are very well-trained, They all have good attitudes, are polite and quick to help. I specifically want to mention Jeff & Jennifer who helped me 12/2/23 at 9:30 PM. The paint counter was unmanned and Jennifer was quick to put in a call for someone to come help. When she saw me still waiting a couple of minutes later she went back there to help me herself. She just about got started with my order when Jeff showed up. She let him complete my order because she was honest and said he was better. I said fine, and thanked her for helping. Jeff went on to offer lots of helpful hints, entirely unsolicited. And he too, had a great upbeat attitude. And although it seems minor, I liked that when he put the little color smudge on the can he reminded me to be careful because it takes a little while to dry. That's an extra level on consideration for the customer. When I went to pay, there was an issue at the register that Jennifer patiently worked through for me. The store itself is better organized than the Woodhaven Blvd.store by a million miles. And the employees are SPECTACULAR! I was not going to give this location five stars as management seemed to depend too much of the self-checkout registers (that take jobs away from people) while there was only one cashier who worked her head off with grace, initiative and boundless energy. That cashier named Ashley was - by far- the nicest and most assiduous employee I have ever encountered. While she assumed her role as cashier with incredible efficiency, she also took it upon herself to assist those in the self-checkout areas. A person that valuable should be making much more than those who simply do not care about their job, company they represent and or clients they serve. Ashley is the sole reason I leave this five star review and I trust her superiors will formally recognize her attributes and exemplary work ethic in a time when the nation is having a hard time finding employees let alone high-quality individuals. As always when something is new it's kept up to par until that day well I hope it's not that way with this home Depot the customer service here was rated by me and a as soon as I walked into the door I was greeted by two employees. Each of them said hello welcome to home Depot that made my day enough to begin ask the question and ask how their day was. I was looking to hang pictures and the pictures are in a frame and kind of heavy. The young lady told me I can find the picture hangers call command which I was looking for them in aisle 17. She was dead on point by telling me towards the end on the left hand side of aisle 17. What better customer service is that I'm sorry I didn't get her name. Thereafter I approached another employee this time of male who worked in the paint job I let him know that I wanted to bring the shine back to my wooden floors. I said I do not want to go through the sanding with grit and all that and he said sure follow me. It took me down the aisle where there was a polyurethane as well as a stainer and some other product he pointed out the best one for me. I was happy that he understood every question I asked him and he also gave a recommendation. Now I didn't purchase it because it was a gallon I didn't need so much so I could not purchase it. However I did ask him is it possible I could find the same product and at least half the size and he said this is all that we offer right now. He said perhaps something else? Because he had recommend this product so highly and seemed so confident about it I was now dead stuck on purchasing it but not in such a great amount. So what I'll do is I'll look for it online and hopefully somewhere I'll find it for the size and which I need. But the customer service here is great at least what I have experienced. There's nothing to compare it to other than another home Depot as far as structure is concerned. The parking lot is a bit small which I think will be a problem but other than that Lowe's is nowhere near it so they're competition is none at this time. If you get a chance stop in. read more

I wish that I could give no stars. I called ahead after leaving the wood haven location, which did not have trucks available to rent. When calling this location, I told the employee I would be purchasing over 30 pieces of sheet rock, the employee stated that they would have a flat bed truck available for this. I told the employee I would be there in 20 minutes and gave the name of the person who would be picking it up, when he asked. When we got there we purchased the sheet rock and went to the rental Station. The employee said the truck was not available because it was Lent to another employee and they didn't know when it would be back. Online order nightmare: system is designed so if you don't make a dozen calls, spend dozens of hours, your refund will not happen, and then only a part of the order was credited, and another slew of calls were required to obtain the rest of the refund, with multiple service agents promising the order was cancelled, the refund was issued, and then actually a part of the order went out for delivery again. I went to the flooring section and requested to purchase vinly plank wood. A long hair middle age staff lady with a sweet mouth told me to wait while she was serving other customer. She walked to other table and talked with other customer after i waited 15 mins. Few mins later, she came to me and told me other staff will come to take my order. Other staff came to me and told me to wait because he was doing something. After another 20 mins, the long hair lady noticed i stared at her. She came to me and used her sweet month said oh so sorry honey, her team member was busy to look for a folklift guy to unload vinyl wood for you, just wait for a while again. She remind me this is a game with customer. I smiled at her and told her my vinyl wood need to order online only! To looked for a forklift guy to unload my vinyl wood? How she knew what kind of vinyl wood and how much i need? she learned it and smiled to turn around, walk away. I spent almost 40 mins to wait overthere then i knew that this new home depot is same as other home depot.
