I had to return an item that I did not end up using. There were a lot of customers in the store and it was busy. The return line was about 4 customers deep. The associate Kaley was handling the returns. She was working diligently and would make eye contact and reassure the folks in line she was going to be right with them. A manager, David, came in to help. I talked with him about the return and he was very reasonable and friendly. Both Kaley and David made the interaction a positive one. Kaley kept the returns line moving smoothly and quickly with a high level of engagement. read more

Old Lady with red hair was having a LONG conversation with another coworker & a men we waited a few & then We asked for an item she pointed & said it was somewhere we went and nothing. Tried to ask her again and she got upset and said she was talking to someone when we were trying to tell her that we just wanted to see if she can help us look for that item & she just ignored us. HOW RUDE! If you don't like your job then get tf off and let someone else work your position. read more

Absolutely the worst HD I've been to. Manager and female customer service representative are rude and unprofessional. I'm a HD pro member and spend a lot of $ with HD. Went in to purchase items , and unfortunately the online order wasn't working properly, not a problem stuff happens. So, the best they could do is honor online prices for something that isn't my fault. But no they wouldn't do it , instead bs around the issue. They need retraining or a job somewhere else before they lose more customers and long time paying customers. But from the reviews I've seen doesn't look like they care or HD doesn't audit this store . Zero stars . read more

The associates at the Lake Jackson HD no help when it comes to being knowledgeable about the merchandise. None of the workers knew anything about trimmers. I got no where with them so asked to speak with a manager. After speaking with this manager, she was very rude and just as clueless as the associates there. I purchased a Feather River door from the Lake Jackson store and the glass just shattered from the inside for no reason. I inspected the door and found no reason this glass should have shattered. this is an expensive door less than 3 years old. I went to the store with the paperwork to the door & the associate says they don't honor the warranty on the door that Home Depot their employer sold. I called the manufacture, and they tell me the same thing they don't honor the warranty and that they discontinued the glass for replacement. These people had me go through a whole claims process and send pictures of the door to tell me there was nothing they could do about it. afterwards they sent an email saying they'll give me 75% off of another door. This door was over $2,000 and less than 3 yrs. old shame on Home Depot and Feather River Doors for their piss poor service. Do not purchase this brand of a door. I wouldn't recommend it if it was free. They are only getting a one-star rating because I had to pick one otherwise, they would get negative 5 stars. read more

All of their customer service girls need to be nicer to paying customers, I can't believe how passive aggressive they were. We went on Tuesday afternoon to buy a new dryer. Walked in about 3:00pm, the store was not at all busy, yet it took us about 40 minutes to get waited on in the appliance department, reportedly because there was one guy working both appliance delivery and customer service. Once we were helped though, our service was good, but our troubles were not over. We don't have a pick up truck, so we enlisted our usual handyman to go pick up the dryer. He waited in the store from 5:15-8:30 pm to pick it up, and only received it AFTER I called to complain to the manager (after getting hung up on once nonetheless). I get the impression that the staff here are genuinely caring, they are just stretched too thin. read more

My wife and I needed to rent a generator and came by here this past weekend. The young gentleman that helped us in the rentals department provided a lot of information to help ensure the generator would suit our needs. He was helpful in both loading and unloading the heavy unit. While we were there, he was mindful of other customers waiting as well. I thought maybe it was just the store in Denton tx but yet again I couldn't get anyone to help me load a toilet onto my cart...then I get to check out and ask for the cashier to call someone to help me load it into my car... I'm then told to go outside and "ask around" for help.... this is the reason I went to Lowe's the last time. However, I didn't want to go to another store after wrestling the toilet onto my cart. Yesterday I went to Home Depot with a friend. She was looking for a portable air conditioner. Right away Jose came up to us and helped us. Then he said he would get the cart to hold the unit. He walked us to the checkout, asked if we wanted help to our car . He stayed with us during the whole transaction. I wish everyone was that helpful. After Lowe's failed to deliver a refrigerator for my elderly parents when theirs broke down, I had to cancel the Lowe's order and took my parents to Home Depot for a refrigerator. The salesman in appliances was very helpful and found all the discounts that could be applied to the refrigerator. He quickly set up delivery and made sure all my parent's needs were met, and the refrigerator was delivered ahead of time. Thank you, Home Depot! You have made life-long customers now. read more

Worst one I've been to. This Home Depot never has anything that you need. The employees are very rude especially the people who work in receiving. I went back there once to ask them a question and I was ignored and then told that I couldn't go back there. They need to get fired. A lot of people have gone back there thinking that it's an aisle. I admit, I don't shop Home Depot a lot, but I do enjoy the store for their garden shop, rugs, moving supplies, Christmas shop etc. I went in the other day looking for a simple bolt. I had no idea what I was looking for, but I've got the specifics written down for what I needed. I couldn't find it, because it's not like you just go in and look for a 3mm or whatever! There are all kinds of different sizes. I couldn't find anyone, so I go over to the closest associate, (which was in lumber) I ask for help and you would have thought I was asking him for a kidney. After about a 10 minute wait and no one shows up, I go to another associate. She proceeds to tell me she can't leave her post so she yells across to another associate to come help me. Another 5 minutes have passed and still no one. I am on the phone with a friend asking questions about this specific item, and I finally just say, forget it, I'm going to Lowes. I can't get anyone to help me! They heard me and tried to track me down as I was leaving. I just told them, thanks but no thanks. It is just frustrating to me that this location always seems to be so understaffed. This is the type of business that needs customer service. Even the professional contractor may not know where something is, or may need a question answered. I did purchase a washer and dryer there a few years ago and the associate in that department was very friendly and helpful and the experience was a positive one. read more
