We were having some issues with items having the wrong barcode stickers on them, however, the Store Manager Artie came to help us himself even though he was obviously a very busy guy. He was kind, helpful, thorough, and even walked us to the front and ordered the item we needed himself when he could have easily pawned us off on someone else. So much better than Lowe's. Workers here are nice and helpful. I went to Lowe's garden Dept today. I can barely walk with a cane and they wouldn't allow me in the garden center entrance because of corona virus. Told me I had to walk to the front and all the way around. I couldn't physically do it. I wanted to cry. I left and came to Home Depot where I was treated like a human. read more

I rented a Penske 26' truck at Home Depot five weeks before my move from Jackson to Colorado giving them my credit card number and confirming everything through their online Penske website. Ten days before my trip I called to see if I could delay the pick up by one day and the agent said "NO PROBLEM". We made all the changes and he sent me a new confirmation with the changes on it. I asked him if I needed to let Home Depot know and he said it wasn't necessary since they were the ones that made the reservations. Then four days before I was to pick up the truck I went by Home Depot to the main desk and spoke to someone there that appeared to be in charge. They looked up my reservation and said, "NO PROBLEM", that they would have it there and ready, tanked up for me to pick up at 7:00AM on the date that the second reservation showed my rental. I even presented my paperwork to him. Then the day of the rental, I showed up to get the truck and the lady said, "OH, we don't have a 26' truck on the lot!". I told her there must be a mistake but after a half hour wait, while my movers stood idly by collecting their fee, she informed me that they would send to Memphis to see if they could get one for me. I explained to her that I have hired movers to load the van and that if I didn't leave promptly that evening that my movers on the other end would cancel on me. She called the main Penske person over West Tennessee to see if she could help me out but after another half hour informed me that, no there were no 26' trucks in West Tennessee. She said she didn't know how it happened! In the meantime, I rented a U-Haul truck while they were on the phone trying to get a Penske truck and although it cost me $700 more due to the urgency of the situation at least they got me going in less than 30 minutes from the time I got to their shop on Airways. Mark Murray at U-Haul said it wasn't unusual for him to get business like this. You decide whether it is worth your time to risk it. Had I booked with them online a month earlier it would have only been a hundred dollars more. Penske, Home Depot - no thanks!!!!!!!! read more

I started going to Home Depot in Jackson, TN because Lowes' service has gotten so bad. Unfortunately I've found out that Home Depot is just as bad if not worse. I ordered online and my order was supposed to be in by 4/17/18. I never heard anything so I went in on the 20th and was told it was not there. The employee called someone at Home Depot Customer Service to check the tracking and they said they couldn't find anything. I had my printout with my order number on it. Customer service put him on hold and came back on every 5-10 minutes or so to say she was still looking. After waiting for over 30 minutes I asked him to call me and he said he would but he didn't. I have already paid for this product so I guess I am going to have to go back to the store to ask for my money back because they are not going to give me the product. It's the grout that matches the tile I bought from Home Depot a couple weeks ago. I got the tile but it was a very long ship time to get it. It took over 2 weeks. If I can't get the matching grout I may have to load all this tile up and return it too. Not worth all this trouble. Bad service. So if you are in a hurry to get a project done DON'T order online with Home Depot. read more

Hi. My spouse and I were in this location this afternoon and purchased a fridge and stove. We were a little worried because there were a lot of other customers and we weren't sure how long it would take to find some help. Luckily for us we ran across Lacey A from the window department (hope I got your name right) as she was running through the appliance section. She professed just being trained on this procedure yesterday. I was completely blown away at how wonderful she managed our interaction. She was both professional and a delightful to speak with; and though she said she was new to this type of transaction she did great! She made the whole experience smooth and painless. Because of how well she did, we stopped for some drill bits and paint sample cards on the way out. I have never had an experience like that. I wish every transaction would go that nicely.
