I have had terrible curbside pickup experiences. When shopping in the store or garden center, the wait time for someone to help load items in the car is horrible. Management and staff are unconcerned and unprofessional. The Supervisor or Manager, Keya, rolls her neck and points her finger while speaking with customers. I'm unsure of her exact title because she was more concerned with her unprofessional antics than assisting me. This is the worst Home Depot location I have visited. Staff is more concerned with promptly completing orders on their handheld devices, although you are still waiting for your order. Clocking excellent customer service time seems to be the goal, but not providing the service. read more

Workers have extremely bad attitude as if they hate there job. I've been here 1000 times to get wood cut, David stated they don't cut wood in this measurements, other guy walked away because I requested a different piece of wood. Dont know if its covid or just what. But last night was the biggest monsoon in a long time and during the height of it I had to go to HD for 4 bags of thin set for the morning. Came in at the big doors at the pro desk and lumber grabbed the thinnest and returned to 3 employees having a good laugh and when I walked up to the register with the light on they told me both registers were closed at 705pm. I tried to reason because I was parked outside and wanted to use the covered loading they told sorry but no I had to go thru the self checks on the other side of the store....I asked if I did that could I load under cover thru those doors please. They offered me plastic so my sacks of thinnest wouldn't get wet. Needless to say I will think twice before returning as the service at HD is really failing. read more

I love Home Depot so much it's my favorite store and my future job hopefully. Home Depot is such a good environment and makes me so happy whenever I walk in the glorious gates of this amazing store. The scent of wood and tools just fill the air and gets you in the mood to go shopping around. The quality of the products are spectacular. Never going there again to buy appliances. I had a dryer delivered to my house and it was not the match to my washer and they would not let me return it the same day they delivered it. That was my second and my last purchase from them. I called my sister to tell her about it and she said the same thing happened to her with them. I would not recommend buying anything from them ever. read more

Bought 2 brand new ceiling fans ($600). 1 works like it should and 1 has a defective circuit board. Mind you, it's 100 pieces and is not the fastest to install. Only to find out it's defective once it's on the ceiling.. what can Home Depot do for me? Nothing. 3 hours wasted and I can't even get a cold drink for my inconvenience. Swapped me out for another that could have the same issue. Amazon would do better. Employees don't care. read more

Terrible parking lot. One side all roofing shingles the other side pallets of mulch. You can guarantee a car accident in this parking lot. Customer service non existent. Even the customers are rude. This store was built too small for being the only Home Depot in Hammond. Did they really think this size store would be adequate. Also most items I'm looking for are out of stock. I wish I could give this store 0 stars. I will definitely be going to Lowe's. read more

Best experience every single time I set foot in this store! And that has been twice a week since it opened! You can tell their employees actually enjoy working there vs Lowe's... I don't think there has been a single time I wasn't greeted or asked if I needed help. I wish all retailers could be like Hammond's Home Depot. read more
