Yes. I went in to this particular home Depot in Egg Harbor township New Jersey. Talk to a lady and got information about carpet. I have been calling for 4 days now to reach somebody to tell them to come out to measure and not one time in about 25 calls since Friday and it is now Monday has anybody been able to help me or answer the phone in flooring. The service is absolutely horrendous and I think I'm going to go to the new carpet place Lomax in Mays landing. I had over 800 square feet of carpet ready to go samples picked out but if this is the way they serve people I don't want any surprises once I put a deposit or down payment on and the work doesn't get done in a timely fashion. Absolute worst customer service! Went up to three individuals trying to locate a panel identifier. First individual plainly said this is not my area absolutely no effort to contact someone in that department just said this is not my area and walked away. Store is usually an absolute mess with items sitting in the aisles to where you can barely even walk through them. Their customer service is terrible. Asked an employee about lids for containers which they only had two lids for 20++ containers on the shelf. I waited for 23 min after asking an employee for help. She paged someone who never answered and she was to busy wrapping tile to get up and help. Finally 29 min later after a second person asks she finally gets a ladder and brings some lids down. We purchased a high end dishwasher. We paid for delivery, installation, and takeaway of old dishwasher. The salesperson told us that if our current one was hardwired, we needed an electrician to put a receptacle in, as installers would not connect to hardwire. We hired an electrician, had the plug installed and put the old dishwasher in garage, waiting for delivery 6 days later. When the installers arrived, they would not install because they were not allowed to disconnect the copper supply tube. They said I would need to hire a plumber to install. I called the store and they said they had no knowledge of the copper rule. They refunded me the $160 installation fee and a inconvenience fee, but said they could not get another installer for two weeks. I had to have a plumber install 5 days later at a fee of $400, an additional charge I did not anticipate. Lost time, additional expense and major inconvenience. Do not buy appliances at big box stores! Pay a few extra bucks and go to appliance store, it will be well worth it. read more

I come here because it is the only Home Depot in town. There are a lot of people working here yet no one seems to have time to help you. They say, "oh, I'm not in this department," or "i'll get someone for you" and not. Once in a while, I'll get a lucky and actually get an associate who works in the department and helps. My mother went there last night to buy de-icing salt for the upcoming snow storm. I wanted to get the concrete safe type. I told my mother to call me in case anything or an associate. My mom found it but wanted to make sure. The bag of salt was heavy and on the front it did not say anything. My mom tried to get a store associate to talk with me on the phone. The woman did not want to but still got on the phone after asking again. I asked the associate to point out where it says it's concrete safe. She said, "it says right on the bag," yet does not point it out to my mother. The woman reads the bag but nothing she read stated anything about being concrete safe. Then she said, "it's the correct one." I told her that the bag must state it for it to be concrete safe, how can a consumer confidently buy if one cannot find the words on the bag? She calls over another associate to help. She proceeds to tell the associate (man), "you tell her, she doesn't believe me it's concrete safe." It is not that I don't believe her, she did not even find the bag to state it was concrete safe when she was reading the bag herself. The man gets on the phone and also takes a few minutes to actually find the wording that it's safe to use. He reads that part to me. That's all I was looking for! I'm not putting names on the post here, but I want Home Depot Management to train their employees to be respectful and courteous to your customers. It is not right to be rude to anyone on the job and Don't tell your customers anything that you believe or think without verifying the facts. It actually needs to be true. In this case it was true but what if it wasn't? I would have to come return a huge bag of de-icer. It's heavy and a waste of everyone's time. read more

They need to work on their customer service. They seem like they don't want to help anyone. I went to this location today (4/12/2018) to purchase a power washer with my father. We compared prices online a week before coming in today. We went to the section and seen a similar one but not the one we were looking at online for the same price. When we looked up we seen the one we wanted but the price was increased. While in the store I went online on my phone to see if the price did increase and we might have missed a sale or something. To my finding it said it was available for the price we wanted. I was excited because to see that we could still get the one we wanted. I go over to the Customer Service counter, and explain the situation and to see if I was able to purchase it for the price it was listed for online. The first girl wasn't sure so she called out to another associate, who didn't seem like she wanted to be bothered, and then told me to go up to her and explain it to girl 2 (I don't want to name drop). The second woman was not pleasant, she really seemed like she didn't want to be bothered. So I explained to her and right away she dismissed me. Telling me that the one on the ground was the same one that I was pointing to on my phone, which was incorrect. She kept telling me that the price is the only price she could sell it for in store. She was no help at all to me, and made me very upset, I had to purchase the item online! She came up to me after I came inside again asking if it worked. Which it did, and ended up getting the power washer I initially wanted. At no time did she apologies to me. Just kept staring at me and making me feel uncomfortable. I too work with the pubic, I would hate to have an associate like her. Very displeased. read more

Let me first say that I always went to Home Depot for everything but now I refuse! I put an online order in for some material this morning and an hour later it was canceled, but why is it canceled when your web site says you have plenty in stock?? When I called and spoke to a guy named (last name I'm guessing) Beck he was ignorant. Then I call the Vineland store to check on the other part of my order, this was a substantial order btw, they tell me that this guy Beck canceled the whole order leaving my payment in limbo for 3days and screwing me with my account!! I am DONE with Home Depot! I will go to Lowe's, MarJam or 84 lumber before I spend another dollar at Home Depot! My customer has to wait because Home Depot can't figure it out!!! On December 26th placed an order for four (4) Husky 45 Gal. totes, which were picked up and put them into the back of my pickup. While driving home, one (1) of the lids flew off the back of the truck and was run over repeatedly. This was completely my error, since I didn't check to verify the lids were secured on the container. While one the Home Depot site and chatted with an associate, to see if we could purchase a lid for the container. During this chat, we were advised to bring the damaged lid to the customer service counter at the store and which would help us. We informed the associate that we did not have the lid, because there was nothing to claim after multiple cars ran over the lid. On December 31, 2018, we went to our store (#0930) and explained the situation to the associate. Customer service is horrible at this store and always has been along with their inventory is never organized properly. However yesterday I was trying to purchase 400 pounds of play sand. It was 20 minutes before closing I had $30 with me and and $11 in store credit. I tried to pay I gave them the money along with the store credit they asked me for ID I showed them my ID and they said I couldn't use the credit because it was in my wife's name. Then they had me wait over 10 minutes then came back to me and said that I could not use the card it was under a different name. On 5/19/17 my husband went into home depot to talk to someone about getting a new entryway door. He took off a few hours from work because they are only there 8-5. Fair enough. He got there at 8:30, but no one in the department showed up until 9. He got through ordering the door (a two hour process but it is what it is- fair), and Dominic couldn't be more helpful. This isn't his fault. He asked when to expect delivery and installation, to which he replied "3-4 weeks; 4 is the longest I've ever seen it take." cool. It's due to come in 6/16. On June 2nd he got an email that said it would now be in 6/19. On 6/14 he got another email that said it would now be in 6/26, five and a half weeks after he ordered it. At this point we were pretty annoyed and we called home depot to see what was going on. They apologized and offered to pay the balance of $100 and refund $50 on my home depot credit card he used to buy the door. We appreciated the gesture, but on 6/26, the day the door is supposed to come in he gets another email. Now the door won't be there until 7/17, ANOTHER 4 WEEKS! At this point I wanted to cancel on principle, but my husband convinced me to hold off. When we called to find out why there was another delay, they say the door was damaged when it showed up. Here we are on 7/17 my husband got another email this morning new expected arrival date is 7/24, which is 10 WEEKS AFTER WE ORDERED IT. So now we're TRYING TO cancel the order, except NO ONE WILL CALL ME BACK TO CONFIRM THE CANCELLATION. We've wasted the last 2 months waiting around for Home Depot to get its act together. Only using this store as it is my local Home Depot. I placed an order online for an outdoor sectional couch. I have been in a shipping shit storm since and have now had to purchase a SECOND couch seeing as NSD the shipping company Home Depot used LOST my first one. I was not given a refund, I had to purchase my second couch which is yet to be received and file a dispute with my credit card in hopes of seeing a refund for the first "misplaced" couch. How a couch goes missing is beyond me and how a company such as Home Depot allows their consumer to be treated this way is also beyond me. Still waiting on a couch and a refund and when is all said and done will be canceling my Home Depot card and never ordering with them or shopping in store again. New Update: i will never buy another appliance at the Home Depot ever again! March 28, 2018 I ordered a washer from this place, after I order the washers I got a 10% coupon in the mail. I called Home Depot and said if I could have this 10% off deducted from my order. The lady said they couldn't adjust it and that we needed to cancel the order and re-order it. When we purchased the washer again the lady specifically told us to make sure they run a load before leaving. When the delivery guys called me I told them, you are aware I have to run a load before you leave, right? They guy starts laughing on the phone, and hands the phone to the driver. I explain to him the driver, what the representative told me when I ordered the washer and he said we do a short test, but, we can't wait for a load of clothes to wash, if you want us to wait, we can't deliver it today. I told him that's fine then don't deliver it. I cannot believe they don't have time to finalize a product sale. Home Depot just lost a sale because of those outside delivery companies. Last year we ordered a gas stove from then and it was a completely nightmare to get them to replace the unit due to low heat coming from the burners. Instead of replacing the stove, they send a technician and he said that's the way the stove works and there was noting they could do about it. I'm done with Home Depot delivery service and they reputation. I would like to update my previous one star review and here's why. In my recent visits to this Home Depot I was really treated better this time around. From the awesome black lady in the carpet and floor department, who went out of her way to help us get the best floor for our money; to the old man with glasses at the electric outlet department. The paint department was very friendly and really nice to us. Every one seem to be so helpful this time around. Not sure what happened, but this place has gotten so much better with customer services, besides the miserable guy who sits at the key chain both who never seems friendly when asked a question about the tooling department. Demanded 100% payment before order could be placed & then added an additional 10% post installation. Department mgr David Jansen ignored all letters & phone request to discuss problem. When I went to the store to purchase new appliances for my kitchen the salesman Bill was extremely helpful. So ends the good part. They missed delivering my merchandise 2 times the 2nd time I did not even get a call. Called customer service at the store on hold for what seemed forever after 1st missed delivery. Spoke with the appliance department supervisor he scheduled 2nd delivery on a Saturday late afternoon to early evening waited until 9:30 PM finally gave up and went to bed. Called on Sunday spoke with Dave assistant store manager I told him either merchandise delivered by Thursday 12/10 or I would cancel the order ($1462.00) No call back from anyone at home depot instead got a call from the delivery service. Scheduled delivery between Noon and 4:30 PM. Delivery arrived at 1PM. Driver and installer barely spoke English. I will never buy another major appliance from home depot. It is worth the extra money to go to an appliance store and get it right the 1st time read more

I purchased two appliances from this Home Depot store, a stove and a dishwasher. The delivery people who arrived had NO intention of connecting the dishwasher I purchased. The driver stepped out of his truck and stated "you hook up dishwasher" before looking at my connections. Then they moved my stove and made tears in my linoleum flooring which was only a few years old while removing the old unit. I did not notice the damage before they left so I took pictures and went to the store that I purchased the appliances. They made me file a claim with the delivery company for the damages and I received a call about 3 weeks later telling me they were not responsible for the damages because it was not brought to the delivery people's attention at the time of delivery. Totally incompetent delivery people and they do not cover damage they cause. Please go to a reputable appliance store to make your purchases. Home Depot will not stand behind any damages and refers any issues with it's clients to the delivery company. They wash their hands once the product is out of their store. read more
