We recently moved back to the area and stopped in to grab some blinds for our new home. Our experience was exceptional and all of the staff members went above and beyond. We've been returning to shop here a couple times a month ever since. This is by far our favorite place to find affordable items we need for our home, and we also love checking out their plant section! If you love plants, they have a great assortment of houseplants, cacti, and succulents at excellent prices. The customer service here is phenomenal and we are super impressed by how friendly and helpful every employee single employee has been. All of the employees are very knowledgeable about their products and have always helped us with any questions we've had. We usually end up chatting with the employees because they are so friendly and kind. A message to management - Please keep getting new plants and lots of planters in stock! Service excellent, selection outstanding and fair prices. I was only bothered by the amount of merchandise in the aisle made maneuvering my cart difficult. Was impressed when an employee followed me out to my car and help me load my merchandise, which I wouldn't have been able to do without him. read more

I'm a customer lost to Lowe's . Home Depot does not guarantee their paint. The return counter told me once tinted they don't allow returns. Since it wasn't a special paint match it was one of their own color match I don't understand that. Unfortunately, they lost a customer. read more

I'm only giving one star because the girl on the phone was very nice, but all that disappeared when I walked in and Holly yelled at me when all I asked was a simple question, "What line should I get in for pickups?" She screamed at me in front of probably 10 different people, "I'M BY MYSELF! I DON'T CARE WHAT LINE, I'LL GET TO YOU WHEN I GET TO YOU!" I was floored.... Listen I've done the whole working by myself thing but I never talked to people like that before... She then got into a phone call for all to hear about a coworker named Dante who apparently called off and she was talking trash about him for all to hear, "HE SCREWED US OVER! I TOLD HIM WHEN YOU GET THIS JOB NOT TO SCREW US AND HE DID!" I was thinking "poor Dante..." She then called for a cart pickup or something over the microphone and started yelling at this poor girl who worked there in front of everyone... If your job makes you miserable FIND A NEW ONE! I probably won't shop here for awhile. It's bad when complete strangers have to say to me "good luck" before I approach the counter! read more

Great after Christmas sales today! Solid Home Depot...Customers are able to rent equipment, inquire about services, get paint, plants etc. Customer service is good and selection is plentiful. There is ample parking and the store is quite large. Overall, this was a good experience. read more

It is a nice store just don't call because you'll be wasting your time base on my experience after a long wait to be connected with the lawn and garden representative they hang up on me. I mean I am buying 30 poinsettias today but I don't want to waste time so maybe it's easier for me to call and get the order done since the product is not available thru online. Won't be buying anything here again. Bought a washer and lid lock doesn't work and service tech came out. Called because clothes were soak and wet after wash ( all 4 loads) unfortunately I am stuck with it because the time constraints on returns. I couldn't get it worked on immediately due to waiting for a tech. Good by Home Depot and hello Lowe's. I suggest a change in policy. My washer was new and had issues from the start. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HOME DEPOT IN THE FUTURE. read more

OK, here's something asinine. If I go into the Home Depot and buy something, I can get 10 percent off because I'm a veteran. That's not the asinine part, but this is. If I order the same things on line there is no code I can enter to get the discount. I find this out after spending 19 minutes on the phone trying to speak with a live person. When I ask the reason, I'm told because they can't verify my veteran status (it's not like I couldn't produce an ID when I pick up the items). Let's look at Lowe's. At that store, my status has been verified and is in the computer. All I have to do is sign in with my account number and my discount is automatically computed. I hate coming here, but sometimes they have what I need. I went to buy chair/table legs. Didn't have much in the way of heights. Also pine rounds. Out of stock twice. I find a plant I like and the price is 12.99 to include a case which is broken in 3 pieces. I ask for a better price less the broken vase l and the girl behind the customer service says she'll just switch it out with another vase. So I'm thinking this girl can't think 5 min into the future to see that she'll end up with another plant and no vase. She had a buyer rt there. I left the store. Other stores have plants, chair legs and hopefully better customer service. read more

If you are a sucker for "Black Friday" sales that begin a week or so before Thanksgiving, read on. This is the story about my purchasing a $500 Whirlpool gas range as a gift for my friend. Her stove had been broken for more than a year, and with the holidays fast approaching and her two-year-old daughter palpably excited to bake for Thanksgiving and Christmas, I wanted to make the holidays special for this family. After days of shopping for a specific range, I checked Lowe's, Best Buy, Semach's, even Amazon for this stove, and on the morning of Thursday, November 16, having been a longtime major-purchase customer of Home Depot, I ordered the range online, paid via Pay Pal and waited. My order form indicated that the stove would be delivered the following Monday, then later in the day I was notified that the range was on backorder and it couldn't be delivered until the day AFTER Thanksgiving. Naturally, I found this detail to be unsettling. Home Depot took my $500 but had no intention of keeping its promise. In addition to the stove, I had to pay $30 for a new gas line, another $20 for that line to be installed, and another $15 so the delivery people can haul away the old stove. The delivery window was between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. but Home Depot promised to call the day before to tighten up that time frame. They didn't call. And since the day before is Thanksgiving, I decided to call them to determine a more accurate time. I was then told that the range was not on backorder after all. It had been sitting in the store the whole time. For nine days. I was absolutely livid. Who needs a new stove the day AFTER Thanksgiving? Apparently I do. So be forewarned: If you find yourself in desperate need of a necessary appliance, do not rely on the Home Depot. Call or visit someone much more reliable. Check the installation price gouging, the up-sales, the flat-out lies. Every retailer in town has this range in stock. So call somebody else. read more
