Well, except for a few small things they had everything I wanted and more. I didn't know I wanted a 300 purple mini light set but apparently I did. Or a purple decoration. Or cinnamon scented besoms. But I did know I wanted screws, zip ties, etc and they had it all. The bad part is that no one asked if they could assist me. I found someone's prescription glasses and suggested they announce it over the loud speaker. They took the glasses but did not announce it. I saw employees playing solitaire on the computer. read more

Walmart never has the bulb I need for the lights under my counter so I go here whenever I need a replacement. No complaints but they moved the bulbs to a different part of the store so I had to ask someone. The floor worker scanned the packing material for the bulb that I had before in her handheld device and brought me right to it. GREAT; and, they don't have as much riffraff as Walmart does if I were to go there to get the sane item. read more

The Home Depot - Why do stores always move things around! - Hardware Stores Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Terrible service. The delivery people, Temco Logistics, called an hour after the delivery window, said it'd be couple of more hours. I said that's unacceptable and the man hung up on me. DO NOT BUY A THING FROM HOME DEPOT!! read more

I have had a Home Depot card for about 25 years. I never had a problem until May of 2024. I have always paid the balance on the card each month. My statement for March came in the being of May and sent a check for the $99.92 on May 11. The post office lost this payment and I drove to the Home Depot on Airline and paid the balance (June 1, 2024). In June I received a statement for a $31.98 late fee. I mailed this a few days before it was due. In August I received a statement for two late fees. Since I had not made any more purchases, I thought this might be a mistake. In short the credit company, Citibank, that Home Depot uses continues to charge a late fee every month even though the late fee was paid. I canceled my Home Depot card and paid off over $230 in late fees for a $99.92 charge. Citibank is not accredited with the BBB and every day people write negative reviews about this bank. The bank insist on being paid for the snow balling late fees and will send a negative report to damage you credit. I have spent over $39,000 with The Home Depot; after this I will never set foot in one of their stores. Land's Welding Olin F. Land, Jr. owner read more

Service is not Great. U have to TRACK DOWN a Sales Person & when you do find a person u have to make a selection & ORDER it & Pay for it and WAIT ON THEM TO SEND U A DATE & Time they will deliver it. That REALLY SUCKS!!! They do have decent value sometimes. read more

This was the nastiest store ever. I mean TRULY dirty. No employees offered help, and when I did ask one of them, she was actually on speaker phone with a personal conversation. I asked another employee where the same product. He said "Ask that man over there". I could go on and on. This place is GHETTO and I don't see how folks even would want to go back. read more

We found what we wanted online, and we were able to go into the store and find it easily. The store layout isn't very user friendly, and we had to do some weaving and dodging to work our way to the checkout, but they had what we needed. We got in, got out, and were back on our way. (Bonus tip: If you need a little something to eat while you're in that area, the Golden Chick across the way has pretty good chicken.) read more

This has got to be the worst shopping experience for the do-it yourselfer I have ever experienced! They had nothing you need and everyone seemed to be hiding to keep from working ! They called several time for different customers that needed help in the same area I was in and no one ever responded! This was really pitiful! So save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else that really wants you to find what you're looking for! read more

Order delivery incomplete. No control to receive credit through customer service or the messaging service.

Friendly but could have better customer service. Have all your home building needs . Good prices

This is the worst Home Depot I have ever been to. Had it not been for the help of a checkout lady named Tina finding me someone to help, I would've went straight to Lowe's after waiting for 20 minutes and no one showed up to help. She found a man name Adam who helped me and when I needed help again in another location I went and found Adam and he helped me in that department too even though he didn't work in that department. This is a very a unorganized store. read more

Is it possible to visit this store without being hassled by beggars ? If they were actually people in need of help it would be different but I watched from my truck for a few minutes and they were a gang working the whole parking lot. read more

I just left the store. The cashier could not do a return for the first customer in line and didn't call for assistance until the line was backup up to the automatic doors. Several employees were behind the counter (online pick up and another station). None of them attempted to assist. Finally when it was my turn, the cashier was unapologetic. That night mare was done. Then I picked up a few item and proceeded to check-out. These lines were back up into the merchandise isle. Needless to say, i abandoned that shopping cart and proceeded to Lowes. I tried to call the manager 3 times. But I abandoned each call after 5 minutes on hold. This is pathetic. EVERYONE in this store needs retraining! Don't patronize this location. read more

As a corporation, I prefer Home Depot to other hardware chains. I REFUSE to use this particular Store, because the manager is a twit. I had an isolated negative experience with him, but the store is otherwise in disarray compared to others. I attribute this to his poor direction and inability to maintain the standards of the other stores in the chain. The store is almost always dirty, the staff is generally apathetic and common items are frequently out of stock. I make it a point to drive farther away to use other Home Depot Stores read more

If I could give it negative stars I would. Employees are very rude! Plenty of Mexicans in the parking lot begging for work. Store just feels nasty on the inside. read more

I couldn't agree with another reviewer more when saying this store is pathetic! I recently tried to use them to buy a dishwasher. To make a long story short, after doing much research online reading reviews and then learning a good bit from speaking to a Maytag representative, I went to this store to view the dishwasher in hopes it would be on display. Couldn't find ANYONE in this store other than the customer service girl in the front of the store. Really annoying have to walk all the way up to the front to get her to page someone who never comes then have to walk back up to the front again to have them page a 2nd time! Finally get a man to meet me in appliances and he looks up the model # of the one I want to see & tells me it's not due to be delivered for display installation for another 2 weeks. I waited the 2 weeks patiently, then call to make sure it's there before driving there to see it. The girl who answered the phone tells me I can't view a dishwasher if it's not on display and starts arguing a situation she knew nothing about till I asked to speak to a manager. A manager speaks to me on the phone and even HE wasn't aware of what stock they had coming in.He wanted to take my name/number to call me back so he could "look in the logs". I asked him why his employee could look it up instantly on the computer screen but he can't? He finally gave in & only put me on hold for a minute. He then tells me it will come in on their delivery truck that night and should be installed for display by 4-5:00 p.m. the next afternoon. I go by there the next day around 7 p.m. and none of the displays have been touch or changed. It wasn't there!! I was furious he wasted my EXPENSIVE gas and PRECIOUS time. Oooo I was so mad! Finally got the customer service girl in the front of the store to page a manager (again she paged twice) to meet me in appliances to talk about this. He finally showed up and said it wouldn't be in for another 2 weeks. He called another store location (the Coursey Blvd. location) to see if they had it but all they told him was they had "all Maytags on display". I was frustrated by that point so I left and drove to the Coursey Blvd. location. They did have the dishwasher I was hunting, but it was in another color and it was installed in their display so poorly that I couldn't shut the door on it. I like to see how well a dishwasher shuts ..it's like shutting a car door. If it shuts solid, it's usually well-built. I had to go to another location (Highland Road) to see it again and finally found a GOOD Home Depot there. But had to drive to Highland Road to be satisfied and get good customer service. It was like night and day difference!! The Coursey location isn't any better. Overall, Home Depot is a good company when you find a good store to deal with. They have good prices. Just pick your location wisely. read more

This entire store is a disgrace to the brand. If it is your fantasy to save valuable time by ordering online for store pickup, FORGET IT. After ordering online, completely ignore the email that states your order is ready. The majority of time, your merchandise will not be pulled from the shelves until you arrive, but only AFTER they search for 30-40 minutes for the order the email stated WAS READY, but really wasn't. This exact situation has happened to me several times and not only do I no longer order from this location for store pickup, I no longer shop at the Airline Highway location AT ALL. With all of this aside, IF by odd chance you chose to order online and your order IS ready, immediately go buy a lottery ticket because THIS IS YOUR LUCKY DAY! ....BUT...do NOT assume the order is correct or complete. When the store employees are given a second or third chance to somehow screw up the order, they'll do what they do best. I would like to know three things, 1. HOW was management able to FIND so many incompetents? WHO so brilliantly decided to HIRE all of them? 3. WHY hasn't their poor performance yet been discovered? read more

Very disappointed, Stop by Home Depot today to place a large commercial order. I usually do my business with Lowes. Their employees are friendly, helpful, and willing to work with you if you are contractor. (my side job). I came in and ask to speak to a manager on duty. The employee left to inform the pro-desk( to my understanding is the manager on duty). He came back and informed me that if I needed them I have to go to the front end of the store to see them. I came up to talk to them about my order. The Pro-desk people took my order and submitted it to a website to match a lower price for order over $2500. After complete my order, the gentleman at Pro-desk show me the balance over 3 grands. I ask him how much discount did i get from being a contractor. He said $12. I am very disappointed. I told the Pro-Desk people I am going to Lowes. They didn't seem to care base on the facial expression of the gentleman. I came to Lowes the manager came out and see me, and gave me 10% discount, plus only charge me $50 for delivery instead of $75 like Home Depot does. Now I know at least I had gave Home Depot a chance to get my business. However, they have blew it on the first try. read more
