Improper and unprofessional nstallation left me with a brand new oven with a crooked door, a cabinet drawer that scrapes when opening and closing, and a broken oven 13 months after installation. I purchased a $5000+ Bosch double wall oven from Stanton's approximately a year and a half ago. The installer they sent did not have the manufacturer recommended equipment to transport and install the huge, extremely heavy oven. They used a bike jack to prop the oven up to install. It did not appropriately support the oven. The door on the top oven was visibly crooked after install. They sent a repair person who altered the door but it was still crooked. He was supposed to contact Bosch but we haven't heard back a year and a half later. Exactly one month after the one year warranty on the oven expired, it quit working. The control panel freezes up and the oven no longer works. I can't help but think the unprofessional and dangerous installation of the oven helped contribute to its short life. I've spent over $1200 additional dollars to fix the oven with a licensed repair company but it's still broken and the repair man is still uncertain what the problem is. I will never do business with Stanton's again, and I will certainly review the manufacturers installation instructions before letting anyone install an appliance in my home. read more

It's important for locals to know that our local business doesn't take care of their customers. As a matter of fact, they forgot about their customers. I placed an order for a new refrigerator with Stanton's Appliance on Perkins in October 2021. Five months later, with no contact from Stanton's except for my phone calls to them, I still have no fridge from them. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt for way too long. Finally, I called and cancelled the order last week when my husband saw the exact model fridge was in stock at Best Buy. Guess what...Best Buy delivered my new fridge yesterday. Only 6 days after the purchase. Thank you, Best Buy! I will never give my business to Stanton's Appliance again. Negligent customer service. Now waiting for my $500 refund on my deposit from Stanton's. Update: It took 3 weeks and three phone calls to finally get my deposit refunded. read more

Several uyears ago I called Stanton's to repair my Scotsman home ice maker and replace a glass on my over. charge was $50 for estimate on glass even though it wasn't available. Charge for pump on ice maker was $1,250. I paid for both and ice maker was fine. I called again a year later because I didn't think ice maker was working but they said that they didn't service what they didn't sell but I told them I had spent over $1,300 with them the year before but they refused. So I guess they just do sales and no service so please advertise that you ONLY service what you sell! Bought my first appliance from Stanton's many years ago and didn't even know that you were still in business when Mr Stanton who sold me appliances from the Fl and N Foster location passed away. I purchased a $3100 refrigerator on a Saturday. They could deliver as early as Tuesday, but I selected Thursday due to the difficulty of re-scheduling of appointments at my work. Salesperson said someone would call on Wed night with delivery time on Thursday. I sent my old refrigerator to the camp on Wed night. No call came. I called on Thursday morning and they had no delivery time on my order. "Oops, we're sorry, we made a mistake" is what I got. "Can't bring it today because we only have two drivers".... "We can come tomorrow".... ZERO REGARD for the VALUE of my time!!!! I selected them instead of a big box store thinking the service would be better. SO VERY WRONG! Pay the driver overtime and take care of YOUR MISTAKE!!! I am so angry that I have missed an entire day of work today, and now I have to start rescheduling and miss again tomorrow!!!!! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Bought a gas dryer and paid more for it than at a big box store because of the so-called personal service and installation by a professional (I didn't want to mess around with a gas install)....WRONG!! The delivery/install guy showed up and didn't connect the dryer because he didn't know how to change out what I already had and I ended up paying an arm and a leg for installation from someone else. That thing sat in my living room for 4 days unused then I had to call and argue to get a refund for installation that didn't happen! I called months later for service and got the run around and no call back. Do yourself a favor and don't shop here. You're better off anywhere else!! This place is horrible!! read more

When our dishwasher died, we narrowed the our replacement options down with Consumer Reports ratings, looked at online/big box websites, and decided to stop in Stanton's on a lark just to check them out--we worried that this little store would have higher prices and little selection compared to the big box websites, but Stanton's turned out to be BETTER in every way. We were pleasantly surprised by their awesomeness! The prices were AS GOOD as big box websites, but what was different was the service: the employees actually knew what they were talking about (!!!!) and there was no pressure to buy. Cody walked us through the differences in the brands we were considering, listened to what features we'd actually use to rule out wasting money on things we didn't need and zero in on the most bang for the buck. He warned us about "quirks" various brands have in features/design too, based on customer feedback, to make sure we'd be comfortable living with those quirks. They had the one we wanted in stock and delivered it quickly (just 2 days later--which was weeks before the big box stores would have) -- and the Stanton's delivery crew are THEIR guys, not outside contractors. They're experienced pros who have worked for Stanton's for 7+ years. The delivery/installation experience was SO much better than our past experiences with big box stores too--the store even matched up an appointment to my work schedule, giving me the first delivery slot of the day to help me not waste time waiting on them. I purchased a whirlpool duet (the top of the line ) our sales person told us it was the best we wouldn't have issues it was what we needed. It is three months old it has been repaired 4 times and they won't swap it out. I would NOT purchase anything from here their service is horrible and will not return your phone calls when your appliance is broken. read more

I purchased a Kitchenaid induction cook top with a special control for "Simmer". It only heats to 110 degrees F. At first Stantons said this was normal but when I insisted that simmer was greater than 110 degrees the told me that parts were on order. This turned out to be a lie and just a way to brush me off. read more

Absolutely the worst costumer service I have ever experienced. My AC has been out in South Louisiana for 11 days now. Every time I call for an update, I am given the runaround and transferred around between departments. When I spoke to them two days ago, they said it would be fixed today. They called me this morning saying it would be another 4 days. That brings my grand total of days without AC to 15 if they actually do what they say they will, which that have yet to do. I had another excellent experience purchasing appliances from Stanton's on Perkins Road. Sales staff, Terry and Cody, are up to date on all appliances and they work hard to make sure they get your business on a repeat basis. I checked with my neighbors, just to make sure I wasn't missing out on an even better situation, but found 75% of my neighbors give Stanton's high marks for sales and service. Even the two delivery guys (Cooper & Buddy) who delivered my beautiful KitchenAid French door refrigerator today, were the nicest people you'd want to meet.
