It's moments like this where I'm so happy to be an avid user of Yelp! I wanted to surprise my partner's mom with a special arrangement just because but had a particular theme in mind. Did a quick search on Yelp and discovered The Holly Berry. Gave them a quick ring and outlined what I was wanting to achieve, and they were so damn friendly and accomadating. I mentioned I wanted to surprise her with an arrangement that had a color palette for the fall and could be used for Thanksgiving. We opted for a table arrangement that had a copper bowl and would be ideal for a centerpiece. Only had to pay $10 for delivery and holy crap were the flowers beautiful. I asked them to send me photos before delivery and I was 1000% pleased. I'll absolutely be working with The Holly Berry for any future needs. Holly Berry is the best ever. On earth. Holly Berry was able to take our order, get us the colors we so much wanted and they're rushing the delivery to get it there today. Large flower chains advertise that they are local,"family owned," but are not. We ordered from one that could not deliver what we paid for and but never bothered to let us know. I put a lot of time and effort into searching out the Most beautiful arrangement okayed by four sisters at the best price. Problem was this place (which I'll just say 1- 800...)Had terrible reviews for the shown arrangement not being what arrived or not showing up at all. To mitigate issues I called many local florist. Holly Berry was one of these calls and though she explained she could not make the pictured arrangement exactly she could do a very close replica for the price that they offered it at. She also offered to have it put into a vase as opposed to a Styrofoam backing so that the flowers would last longer and could be shared after the funeral. The arrangement she made for me was fantastic, so beautiful, and loved by everybody. Even after, It was slightly rearranged for a table display at the families home (for after the funeral) and it is still blooming and absolutely gorgeous today. Exquisite and stunning work for a great price and they were so timely and sweet to work with. I haven't had customer service like this since the pandemic started over two years ago! I have ordered from this florist several times but will not be ordering from this business anymore. I ordered an arrangement today, which was approx $100 including taxes and delivery. The deluxe bouquet is shown below as listed on the website. The website notes that due to low supply, flowers may need to be substituted which I totally understand. This is not what happened here unfortunately. The bouquet I ordered was substituted with cheap carnations and invisible flowers. As you can see from the pics, there is a complete lack of "substitution." I could have made an equal or better bouquet from Safeway flowers myself for under $20. When I emailed to let them know I was unhappy with the order, Pam who is apparently the owner, responded via email and said I should place my order earlier next time to ensure they have the flowers needed to fill my order. I will not be ordering from this florist again and would not recommend it to others. HIGHLY disappointed in the product and the customer service of The Holly Berry. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about The Holly Berry. We worked with both the owner Pam and Laurie her assistant and they were both fantastic. When we met with Pam for the consultation she had a variety of flowers to show me, she created a small sample bouquet and then we would talk about what I liked and what I wanted to change. She would adjust the flowers, adding some and taking some out, then we would talk again. I (literally) cried a few times during the meeting. But she was patient and so kind. The prices were reasonable, less than we had originally budgeted. She even cautioned us when we wanted things that would be more expensive. It was not the experience I was expecting! I went in fully ready to defend our budget by turning down her up selling and I never had to do that! They delivered and attached the flowers to the arbors at the venue, and even helped the men with their boutonnieres (I think there was a very small charge for that, but it was well worth it!) I would highly recommend Holly Berry for any floral needs. read more

I ordered a bouquet of flowers from Holly Berry. One day after the delivery the flowers were bent over, wilted and broken. I sent HB a picture of the flowers. I received a call from Holly Berry disavowing any responsibility for the order. They told me basically it was my own fault because should have ordered locally. I understand they did not deliver the order and farmed the order out to a florist closer to the delivery address. But Holly Berry sent me an e-mail advertising their business, I gave Holly Berry an order, I paid Holly Berry, an employee of Holly Berry called me trying up up-sell the bouquet - they encouraged me to buy more tulips for $10 more. I expect the company who takes my money to stand behind the products I am paying for. I have no idea what their business process regarding telefloral orders and frankly - I don't care. They did not refuse the order because the delivery was 1 1/2 hours away, they took my money. In the future, I will not order from HB since they are obviously not responsible for the orders shipped out when you order from them on-line. Also when they called me, they had not taken the time to look at the photos that I sent along with my message. Their knee-jerk response is "We didn't delivery it - It's not our responsibility. Take it up with the other company". I can order from King Soopers (who is great by the way), floral companies in New York, San Francisco or practically any place in the US and get better service. My mom sent me flowers from Holly Berry. She ordered off the website because she lives out of state. The flowers she ordered were beautiful on the website with rich vibrant purple flowers and a one sided arrangement. When I picked up the flowers they were a dull very faint purple and not a one sided arrangement. Nothing like the picture at all. We asked the flowers to be redone. When we picked up the new arrangement the flowers were now pink. Excuses, excuses excuses including the pictures on the website don't represent the flowers we have. What? Then why have the pictures. The next comment I received from the owner was "Your mom should have called me instead of ordering off the site." What? Then why have an online business? Felt like a bait and switch and then the owner trying to guilt us for not wanting the product she decided she would deliver instead of apologizing for delivering a product that was anything but what we ordered. If you are ok with accepting what you are given instead of what you order, this is the place to shop. read more

The Holly Berry is wonderful! Pam was so easy to work with, very polite, and very professional. I planned my wedding from out of state, so we only talked on the phone a few times. Afterwards, she sent me a detailed email of everything we'd discussed, and I sent her pictures of the style of flowers I had in mind for the wedding. I gave her some general colors I preferred, and she did the rest! They were more beautiful than I could have imagined. My hairpiece was perfect and stayed secured all day. The flower girl's headpiece was adorable, and the aisle mason jars and my bouquet were lovely! All of our guests couldn't stop remarking on how beautiful the flowers were, and they stayed looking fresh for over a week! My family stayed in cabins for the rest of the week, and we used them as a centerpiece at the dining room table since they stayed so beautiful. I am so disappointed in the lack of providing customer satisfaction. Two friends and I chipped in for a $100 funeral arrangement. Unfortunately it was not what we expected for the price. Very, very small. I actually stopped into the Holly Berry between the funeral and the reception because I was embarrassed about the tiny arrangement and hoped to get a refund or some sort of accommodation. The ladies there showed me that what I had ordered was what they created, but I just couldn't help but think I could've gotten a same-size bouquet at Safeway for $20. The owner was out of town at the time. When I got a call a week later, I thought Pam would take pride in her local Evergreen business and provide some sort of customer satisfaction. Disappointingly, she just said I got what I paid for. I would've much preferred to have had a funeral flower arrangement that my friends and I could've been proud of, but instead the Holly Berry got this sad review, as well as negative word of mouth in Evergreen. read more
