They answer all questions and more importantly educate you on trucks, cars, helicopters, planes and more. I refuse to go anywhere else because they are that good. I recently had a traxxas bluetooth controller stolen from me and Danny just gave me one of his. This is exactly what Im talking about when I say I am a customer for life - period. Blah, blah blah I could reiterate what everyone else has said. Good and bad. But it's necessary that we preserve as many places that still cater to specialty interests and hobbies. It's more museum with the option to sell moreover than a hobby shop at this point. The two times I've been in there the individual running the shop was speaking with customers and was very knowledgeable. Yet a bit brusque. Be respectful. And understanding. However... I, on my latest visit was prepared to make a purchase. You see I was home because work was slow. I was perusing Amazon etc looking for a project to keep me occupied while I have some downtime. By the way it's January and just got really, really cold. I want to support as many brick and mortar businesses as possible. So I button up and make the trip downtown. So I get there and peruse the inventory. After a while I find something that will keep me busy for a few weeks. Here's the rub. I get to the counter and the owner( I assume) starts looking up the price. It's got a price on the side of the box but he claims it's the wrong price. I stand there patiently whilst he looks it up on his iPad. And wait. Now he's tagging on 20 bucks to the existing price on the box. The prices on most of these items are pretty high I noticed. All good. But don't try to squeeze me at the register and tell me someone put the wrong price on the box. If you'd have honored the price right or wrong I'd be sitting here working on the model. Instead I'm writing this review.

Even walking in with high expectations, I was blown away by the level of service. George, Kemesha's husband, was working the store on his own today. When I walked in and I asked for his help to select a gift, he apologized that his wife wasn't there. Then he called her. He put her on speaker phone and she guided me to an amazing gift. I could have looked at the shelf all day and not "seen" it. She wanted to give me another option too -- and I appreciated her integrity in that, but this first one was perfect! Next was gifts for my nieces and she directed me to a selection where literally everything was so perfect. And there were things there that I would buy for myself! When I mentioned I also needed a gift for another nephew, whose birthday is in a couple of weeks, she encouraged me to come back. She said that she could have recommended something in stock, but that she was getting more merchandise next week and didn't want to just sell me anything. This store isn't exactly around the corner from me; it was a detour to come here. Shopping online would be more convenient, in theory. But some things are more important than convenience. There is a level of care in how Kemesha and George run their store that cannot be replaced. Within 5 minutes Kemesha and George won me over as a raving fan client for life. This is a business run on integrity and caring, and I'm thrilled to give them my business. PS - I rarely take the time to write online reviews, so consider that for what it's worth to you.
