I haven't been to the batting cage since I was a kid so I decided to be adventurous and go try it…read moreout again. This location was closer to us so we went in and there is a Yelp coupon for 20% off one batting cage round but I decided to save that for another time since we were going to rent a cage for an hour. This store is on the other side of Dollar Tree. The employees there were really nice and helpful. The rental included helmets and bats so that was nice. You have to miss a couple of shots before you get the hang of things but once you get to swinging, it will be hard to stop. The hour went by fast and it was split between three people. There is no max for the cage rentals so if you wanted to share it with 10 people, you could. There is also a gym and private training lessons there for anyone interested. I highly recommend and I plan to go back!

I would never entrust this place with the care of my child…read more Over the course of two consecutive days, my 6-year-old son was hit in the face with a dodgeball during camp. I completely understand that accidents happen and that kids get hurt while playing sports. We have had our children involved in sports since they were 3 years old, and we fully expect bumps and bruises. What is unacceptable is how the situation was handled. At no point did anyone call us, and the coach never mentioned that our son had been hit in the face. My son did tell the staff that he got hurt, yet no one offered him basic care or informed us about the incident when I picked him up. I only learned what happened because my son told me himself. Instead, they left it up to a 6-year-old to communicate what he needed. He's the youngest child there and, like many young children, he wanted to be tough in front of the older kids. Expecting a 1st-grader to recognize, communicate, and advocate for his own medical needs is simply not appropriate. For more than $250 a week for only a few hours of daily care, I expected the staff to take some initiative. Something as simple as offering ice or notifying a parent should be standard practice. What was even more disappointing was the owner's response. Rather than expressing concern or apologizing, I was told that because my son "didn't ask for anything," they didn't offer him anything. There was no acknowledgment that the situation could have been handled better, no commitment to improve their procedures, and ZERO empathy. Instead, the owner seemed offended that I raised the concern and told me my reaction was unfair. This review is not about a child getting hurt. It's about the complete lack of responsibility, care, and accountability shown afterward. When parents leave their children in your care, they trust you to look after them--not to rely on a 6-year-old to decide when he needs help. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this academy to any parent looking for a place that prioritizes the safety and well-being of young children.

We are beyond grateful for this hitting academy and the incredible coaches. My son is 7 years old…read moreand had really only played T-ball before coming here, but the growth we've seen in such a short time has been amazing--not just in his skills, but in his confidence and love for baseball. He absolutely loves the summer camp and the one-on-one lessons. He gets excited every single time we're on the way, especially knowing he'll get to see Coach Pete. That excitement alone speaks volumes. Thanks to the coaches, he now has a better stance, a stronger and more confident swing, and--most importantly--a real motivation to play and improve. Coach Devin and Coach Billy have been phenomenal with him: patient, encouraging, and great at meeting him at his level while still pushing him to grow. This academy has truly helped spark a passion for the game in my son, and as a parent, that means everything. We are so thankful for the time, care, and dedication these coaches put into their kids. Highly recommend to any family looking to build both skills and confidence in young players.

He felt very out of place as everyone else was already a well established player. He didn't feel like the adults monitored things and felt pushed around by the more seasoned players. He did mention the owner was away the week he went. We paid for the after care - but he sat on bleachers not talking to anyone day after day. He asked me to share so other families can make sure their child has a good experience here and goes in with eyes open.

Dad & Son, theme of the day Baseball!!!…read more This review will be quick and to the point. For an indoor batting area it is basic, it has pitching machines with practice balls, red and partly rubber. Pricing is about the same as anywhere, but maybe a little high for this experience. We got the 10 tokens 75 balls for 24$ They have both higher and lower token counts, but this one was most worth it to us. They have helmets and bats if you don't have any or just want to stop by, helmet padding is definitely in need of replacement in almost all the helmets, just FYI. The counter person was very friendly and she explained everything with ease. The reason for the 3 star rating and not more is the fact that the pitching machines are very close, so this is more of a make contact batting cage rather than see where your ball goes as it seems to be only about 25 feet between the machine and the boxes. They do have 6 cages ranging in speeds and types: softball/fast pitch & baseball Also there were a few times that we only received 10 pitches as the machine would run out of balls and the machines still count the ghost pitches so you lose some of the cuts you should've received. There is also a huge space with 2 volleyball courts and what looks to be a gymnastics area. Placed seemed fairly clean, bathrooms were well kept, but basic. They have vending machines for drinks/snacks. Also this place looks like it's in a line of warehouse so don't be fooled by all the bay doors they are there. I also suggest parking across/away from the front of the building when we came out my car was covered in a white mist of something, so I had to get my car washed. All in all if you just want to work on contact with the ball this place works, but if you want more of an immersive experience you may want to try 406!!! If we go again I will take puctures!!!

After they stopped the membership, the continued to charge my card (and other members) and refused to take the card off file. I emailed, texted, and called. The owner was extremely rude, i even drove up to the batting cages to resolve it and it wasn't fixed. They keep charging my card on weekly basis. I'm calling my bank today to have them blocked from any future charges. Do NOT GIVE them your card.
