Hitter's Edge is great. Both of my daughters take pitching lessons and are able to practice hitting after each lesson.

You want to come out in December or January on a nice robustly brisk 28 degree night with a decent breeze and hit until your hands hurt or they freeze to the club? Damn right you can!! luckystrokes.com/hours The above link covers the current hours in the offseason, well sort of because that link shows the driving range lights as being on until 9 but there is a note taped to the self-serve ball dispenser that current lights off is actually 8 and based on my own personal experience last week, it's more like 7:55. The below link has the current pricing information. luckystrokes.com/home-page Also note, if you come there is a list of range rules. One of them is that you are supposed to aim at the targets they have in the field. Admittedly, there aren't too many dudes showing up in winter to hit but fwiw, I have yet to see one (self-included) go along with that. Everyone is just cranking and wherever it goes, it goes. Overall, the pricing is fare, the carpets are in decent shape and I'm just grateful to have a place somewhat close that chooses to think outside the box a little to offer us hard core contrarian loons something very fun & different to do in winter.

Reading the signs it's did say they closed at 7:30 which is understandable. Proper professional customer service would have taken accountability apologized for not reflecting "closed" and moved on. The way it was handled was so distasteful and will never be back.

During the off season we have open hitting for ages 7 and up. What sets apart the above average players from others? How can a player improve their overall skills, arm strength, speed, power, IQ and confidence? The answer is practice, practice, practice and positive reinforcement. At Evolution Baseball and Softball we know how important the specific training is to develop a complete player. We understand that the game is extremely hard and filled with failures. We offer custom tailored workouts with a skilled instructor to develop the all around game of the players to help them see growth in themselves and in their game. We devote 60mins to our sessions so there is ample time to cover topics such as hitting and pitching mechanices, fielding, baserunning and improve overall IQ. Evolution has the ability to provide video breakdown and analysis for our players. We want to challenge, motivate and inspire each player we train. It is not where we start but about your growth and development through the process. Hard work and the ability to mentally push through our failures teaches tremendous life lessons that go well beyond just baseball and softball. We train the entire person, not just the player on the field

Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Spooky Nook PA is an impressive facility purely based on size alone…read more The complex is massive and at first glance it is hard not to be amazed by how much is packed into one location. There are countless courts fields and activity areas which makes it clear why this place attracts so many teams tournaments and large scale events. The variety of sports and amenities offered is a major positive. No matter what sport you are coming for there is a strong chance it is supported here. The layout allows for multiple games and events to run at the same time which is convenient for tournaments and families with kids participating in different activities. There are also food options and areas to sit which help when spending long days at the complex. That said the sheer size of the facility can also be a drawback. Navigating from one area to another can be overwhelming especially for first time visitors. Clearer signage and better wayfinding would make a big difference. It is easy to feel rushed or stressed trying to find the correct court or field on time particularly during busy weekends. Crowd management is another area that could use improvement. When events are in full swing the complex can feel extremely congested. Parking can be challenging and walking through crowded corridors with athletes spectators and equipment can become frustrating. The overall experience during peak hours feels chaotic rather than streamlined. The facility itself is functional but not always comfortable. Some areas feel worn and could benefit from better maintenance or updates especially considering the high volume of traffic the complex sees. Seating can be limited and not always ideal for spectators staying for extended periods of time. Overall Spooky Nook Sports Complex delivers on scale and opportunity but falls short in execution. It is an impressive venue with huge potential but the experience can feel overwhelming and tiring rather than enjoyable. With better organization improved navigation and attention to comfort it could easily earn a higher rating. For now it lands at a solid three stars.
