Milkshakes and other sweet treats were available. There was only one young staffer that I saw but very friendly and helpful. I was able to get a first responder discount which made our mini-golf games almost buy one get one. It was about $14 total. The 18-hole course was not too easy or hard and had some unseen dips on the well maintained astroturf. They also thankfully have appropriately placed netting to avoid some shots landing in the water. For about four or five holes, they have fun spinners which have you do a trick shot or choose someone to move a ball or hop on a foot to take your shot or use the opposite end of the club for the shot. Made for some laughs on the course. No prizes for a hole in one on 18. They also have a batting cage. Although relatively empty when we were there in the afternoon on a Saturday, others were slowly coming in. This is a nice place for a fun family or friend night out. I did see on the price board they have a full-season pass.

You want to come out in December or January on a nice robustly brisk 28 degree night with a decent breeze and hit until your hands hurt or they freeze to the club? Damn right you can!! luckystrokes.com/hours The above link covers the current hours in the offseason, well sort of because that link shows the driving range lights as being on until 9 but there is a note taped to the self-serve ball dispenser that current lights off is actually 8 and based on my own personal experience last week, it's more like 7:55. The below link has the current pricing information. luckystrokes.com/home-page Also note, if you come there is a list of range rules. One of them is that you are supposed to aim at the targets they have in the field. Admittedly, there aren't too many dudes showing up in winter to hit but fwiw, I have yet to see one (self-included) go along with that. Everyone is just cranking and wherever it goes, it goes. Overall, the pricing is fare, the carpets are in decent shape and I'm just grateful to have a place somewhat close that chooses to think outside the box a little to offer us hard core contrarian loons something very fun & different to do in winter.

During the off season we have open hitting for ages 7 and up. What sets apart the above average players from others? How can a player improve their overall skills, arm strength, speed, power, IQ and confidence? The answer is practice, practice, practice and positive reinforcement. At Evolution Baseball and Softball we know how important the specific training is to develop a complete player. We understand that the game is extremely hard and filled with failures. We offer custom tailored workouts with a skilled instructor to develop the all around game of the players to help them see growth in themselves and in their game. We devote 60mins to our sessions so there is ample time to cover topics such as hitting and pitching mechanices, fielding, baserunning and improve overall IQ. Evolution has the ability to provide video breakdown and analysis for our players. We want to challenge, motivate and inspire each player we train. It is not where we start but about your growth and development through the process. Hard work and the ability to mentally push through our failures teaches tremendous life lessons that go well beyond just baseball and softball. With so many teams here to play basketball there was definitely a variety of quality between courts. Sponsor teams had premium space like in my photos, but other teams just had modified all purpose sports space. Not a really good set up proceeding for anybody who is there with their youth. Unfortunately, everything cost something here. It starts with an exorbitant amount for parking. Since this is not an NFL stadium, it seems very ridiculous to have a parking fee that you could not avoid by parking further away. Otherwise, the amount of commercial cash grabs here from food to merch was rather blasé. If this is what funding their business model, I guess I can understand, but it does not feel right. This place does not really teach the rigor of sporting to me, and rather just shows how commercialization has made sports problems.
