I just had my wedding here in December 2021. It is a beautiful venue with kind people to work with. I chose it because it is an "all inclusive" and I didn't have to find any of my own vendors aside from a photographer. The day overall went smoothly. It was super nice to be able to choose the base package but you can customize it as much as you want, you just have to go through the vendors separately. A couple of things that could have been smoother for us: - we did end up having to pay each vendor out of pocket for things that I think should be included (ex: using real plates and cutlery rather than plastic). I was fine with paying for some other upgrades that we chose, but some of it seemed odd to not be automatically included. - I wish we could have had the venue all day. There wasn't an event in the morning, but instead we had to find somewhere else to get ready instead of paying $300/hr to get ready at the venue - after the ceremony it felt a bit rushed to get the bridal party out of the chapel. All the bridesmaids had to get their things out of the back immediately. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the day and event. Russell and Faith were great to work with and I would definitely do it all over again.

Great outdoor venue area for when it's warm and an even more beautiful chapel and reception hall.

So we drive up last night and were absolutely enchanted. While the venue might be on the smaller side (it's a small town vibe, so it adds to the aesthetic of it all), everyone in the play (The Secret Garden) absolutely gave the show their all. Phenomenal cast, venue, and the whole sort. They were talking about their next play in October and my friend and I are already waiting for the date so we can set it in the books to come up. It really feels like we found a little gem of cozy fun and idk if I want to share it lol! But alas, I am and I hope you all have years of success!

I can't believe I'm only the second person to review Photography by Jeff Pistana, early bird gets…read morethe worm I guess! When organizing my parents surprise 50th Wedding Anniversary we researched multiple photographers and selected Jeff because his prices were so incredibly reasonable (He starts at $75.00 for 2 hours - no kidding!) and he made an effort to explain his services to us. There were no hidden costs or surprises about not being able to keep and own every picture like many photographers these days tend to do to suck more money out of you. Plus, his portfolio displays a wide range of both perfectly posed shots and tender candid shots. The day of the surprise party, he showed up on time, dressed appropriately for the fancyness of the event (I've seen wedding photogs show up in ripped jeans and tennis shoes before! C'mon, that's unacceptable!) and had an uncanny ability to make everyone who had just met him feel absolutely at ease during the experience. Jeff helped bring out our family's...how shall I say, "eccentric" personality and provided us with warm, lasting memories of that day. He graciously handled challenges, making the best of difficult situations, such as a lack of lighting at our venue towards the end, after the sun had set and displayed thoughtfulness and patience as we tried to coordinate over 30 family members in various groupings. We never felt rushed and the photos came out phenomenal since we were all so at ease, and excited to be there. He definitely went above and beyond the call of duty. One of the more subtle qualities of Jeff was how none of the guests even noticed he was there, he was so unobtrusive and stealthy yet we have pictures of everyone and everything that happened! He has this keen way of capturing the moment without being obvious or in anyone's way. He devoted so much of his time, energy and talent to making my parents 50th such a success and went far beyond our expectations. We now have so many greats pictures displayed throughout all the children's houses and to share with friends and family as well as creating family heirlooms for the little ones for the future. Thanks for the timeless memories!!! We even had some questions regarding the timing of our parent's arrival and wished to get their reactions to the surprise captured as thoroughly as possible and Jeff promptly answered all of our phone calls and emails. The day after the event Jeff provided us with all the photos on a disc and stuck around to make sure we could open and access them. We were shocked to receive them so quickly and are very happy with them. Jeff got so many ridiculously AMAZING candid shots and portraits that day, My parents could not be happier with the photos. Jeff has also done some exceptional food shots for me when I had an urgent need for my cookbook. I was at the point of telling my publisher I would have to miss a deadline but then called Jeff who fit me into his already busy schedule and was able to set up the shoot at my house. Jeff knew precisely how to angle the camera to convey the true integrity of the dishes I prepared and was able to hand me a zip drive with over 100 pictures within two hours. He also made sure that the photos were what I wanted. I love that he shows you the pictures on his camera as he's taking them to make sure you are pleased and will do a retake if you like. To say I am happy with Jeff's work is an understatement, his friendly demeanor and sincerity in pleasing his client's will keep me coming back as long as he's in business. It's remarkable that such a talented photographer doesn't have a snooty attitude, which I have has the displeasure of seeing all too often. Jeff is very humble and natural, a powerful quality in someone who is so good at what he does. Best prices you will ever find, combined with polite, thoughtful service and great pictures is what you get with Jeff. I won't hire any other photographer.

I was a guest at this venue and must say the location and view is lovely. Be sure to put the name…read moreof the place into GPS to accurately get you there - was advised of this beforehand so had no issues. The hot tubs were nice (only one has the chlorine bobber in it so we swapped this out to clean the other tub), plus the massage chair was used a lot. Very nice. The maintenance of this property needs a LOT of work. Most of the bathroom shower fixtures were sort-of working (at best) - mine specifically: pulled the knob to start the showerhead and the knob came off completely shooting water across the tub. You have to finagle it to get it to work. The sink drains super slow. Others had issues with their baths, as well. The kitchen was dirty (smears on the SS appliances plus microwave/counters) and the knives are VERY dull. One dishwasher doesn't clean properly, and the fridge ice makers don't work - the water dispensers are super slow. Most of the washer/dryers don't work. Be sure to bring your own soap/shampoo items as there is nothing in the showers. Also, bring your own foil/wrap/baggies as there were none in the kitchen. Bring extra kitchen towels and dish soap as there are only 3 (huge kitchen and we had a group of 8), which we washed but that adventure took all day due to the laundry situation, plus we had to get dish soap from the bedroom with the kitchenette. This place has amazing potential! I know others had different issues so I'm speaking on what I personally observed and experienced.
