The location is great as we both have spent quite some time at Palmer Lake. beautiful views of the mountains as it is nestled close to them. Great outdoor venue area for when it's warm and an even more beautiful chapel and reception hall. I envision our big day at Pinecrest after the tour (we toured other places but the view was the best for us). Danny was also very informative of the packages and we chose the all inclusive. Well worth it, I have to say because when it came to our big day, everything was " absolutely spectacular " and the staff were amazing and worked hard to make our day over the top amazing. Jessica was our wedding coordinator, absolutely brilliant and amazing person to make our dream wedding ( and only wedding) come true. Danny, Jessica and the whole staff at Pinecrest: we cannot thank you enough for your kindness, patience and hard work you all did for our wedding. I am beyond words of how I'm so impressed with Pinecrest and it's staff. For those that are reading, definitely have your wedding here. Such a gorgeous place with trem staff. Best wishes, Anthony and Andrea C.

Let me start by saying the venue itself is very nice that is why I am giving 3 stars. The…read moreindividual tour guide we were provided however soured our experience of this potential wedding venue. The guide was not able to provide basic information about the venue itself, to include their catering prices, the tax and service fees, and other miscellaneous info. My fiancé and I then told the guide multiple times that we intended on being married at the outside ceremony site and wished to see the location, but we were told "not today it's snowing". Tough to sell a venue when you refuse to show the customer what they want. We were very excited for this venue however the guide we given was the specific reason we did not choose this venue.

Wait staff was run ragged - poor planning to have two people running the bar, and all the tables on a Sat night during Ren Fair and an art festival. Staff would pass our table and not even look at us. Food took at least 30 minutes to arrive. Table next to us was seated after we got there and their food arrived first. The burger was excellent. The fish was unremarkable. (Applebees does a better fish.) Fries were a complete waste of time - a large stack of thin fries. The food was hot when it arrived. After reading the other reviews about lack of ADA sensitivity or training, this isn't a place I'd support going forward. So disappointed. I'd been to the other location and enjoyed it.

Customer beware! Who knows what else she will claim has gone up without telling you!

My husband and I got married here in September 2010. Nothing else in Colorado Springs fit the bill…read morefor what we wanted in a wedding venue. The lodge is gorgeous, well maintained and perfect for intimate weddings or parties. We had around 52 people and it was just perfect. Even with a buffet, which eventually was cleared out, there was enough room for a small dance floor if we pushed the tables to the edges of the room later on. Due to perfect weather we were able to use the patio for our wedding ceremony and the views of the pines, the small lake, the small waterfalls and the bridge were everything we hoped for. This is a DIY place though in terms of set-up, food, music. We brought in an iPod to play on the sound system that is already in the lodge. We brought in linens, glasses, and everything to go with the buffet for the dinner. The location has a very nice sized kitchen for prep-work and several large fridges to store apps, fruit, chocolate, drinks, etc. The bathrooms are also very nice and very clean. When we got married they did provide chairs for the ceremony that were then ushered in and placed with the tables that they provide...since they're white plastic (but sturdy) tables I highly recommend linens. Unfortunately I was not able to get ready at the venue and had to get ready at a hotel in Monument but I know there were talks of making a bridal room but it never came to be before my wedding...would be very handy for the bridal party! Also, the wooden beams of the ceiling are beautiful and the fireplace is a great focal point...gorgeous! I checked online and the manager/event coordinator has changed since my husband and I got married there. This is a good thing. The woman who was there back in the fall of 2010 was the worst. She was rude. She was short with people. She never once asked me if I needed any help with the evening, even though she was there to do that, and she was kinda pushy. If it wasn't for the fact that this was the only location we fell in love with to get married at, besides super pricey places up in the mountains, I would have ran for the hills. This same woman also didn't listen when I told her about our music timing for the ceremony and messed it up right before I walked down the aisle---I had no music when I walked down the aisle. We weren't able to rehearse because she wasn't all that flexible since she scheduled a party the night before--when we were supposed to rehearse so that was a big part of the issue. If she were still employed with the business I would give the place three stars, but since she's not, five it is! You won't regret the location and your guests will love the atmosphere!

Just because it is affiliated with Bourbon Brothers, which literally has no vegan items on their menu, doesn't mean every event group, nonprofit, or prom wants 50 lbs of brisket for dinner! This area of COS is very popular and wealthy, but Boot Barn is likely missing a lot of great bookings with their Event Coordinator not thinking out of the box more. They really screwed up when they passed over the best Event Promoter, Fundraiser and Social Coordinator last December! One guest room did not have a portable cooler, but Jodi worked with us to change the guest accommodations to take care of that.
