I had my doubts at first, as there was so much to be done, and on time, but I was not disappointed, neither was my daughter. They transformed the place from wedding venue to reception venue in under an hour - cake delivered, catering set up, centerpieces, various decor hung, etc. Staff was there helping until the end, then they helped pack up. Uriah is also the Loft's photographer and he did not disappoint either. Holly and Samantha were the Wedding Planners and they went above and beyond also. I could go on and on but I want to write other reviews! Seriously!!

I forgot to review this awesome venue, from our wedding last December! I found The Loft on Yelp, I…read morehad never been. We decided to check it out for a possible wedding venue. I messaged on here and quickly had an appointment to come see the venue! We walked in and my husband said, "I think this is the place it just is so fitting for us." We did a walk through and fell in love with the venue, location and the fact that we had pretty much free rein over what details we wanted. We booked the venue for December 2018! We picked out a caterer, Baker, one of their preferred DJs, we did our our cocktail hour, one of their preferred bartenders, and Uriah as our photographer! The day of was so perfect for me. I picked out decor, table setting stuff, and all of that extra stuff and the people decorating just really made it look more beautiful than I had ever imagined. It was perfect. Even with a few hiccups, the crew just went with it and made it such a beautiful day. I so highly recommend this venue! Especially so you can have that personal touch on everything!

What a hidden gem! I photographed a wedding here and I've…read morealso lived in the area for 10 years, and I had NO idea this place existed. The grounds are beautiful and intimate. The highway is nearby but the owner keeps the venue affordable. I forgot his name but he was great and allowed me to look around before the wedding. Definitely a place to consider in a great location for family traveling.

There are so many secret beautiful garden areas, sitting areas to discover. Steve was great to work with. He's the manager and the owner of the property and takes a lot of pride in his venue. He was flexible whenever I needed to come stop by or do a walk through with vendors. The photos in the garden turned out perfectly- SUCH a beautiful venue. My guests were all so, so impressed with the location. I have received some negative feedback after the wedding. First, we splurged and paid extra to have our cocktail hour in the "Wine Garden" where people can have some appetizers and Steve actually serves people glasses of wine for the hour before the reception. We had pre-paid for all the alcohol served at the wedding. In the middle of the cocktail hour he "ran out" of wine and stopped serving people. (He had extra at the bar, so not sure why he wouldn't go get more bottles... especially since we had pre-paid) Then the bar service was INCREDIBLY slow. Steve worked the bar with another gentleman and it was not efficient at all. Guests were waiting in line upwards of 30 minutes for a drink because only one person was making a drink... they weren't tendering cash because we had pre-paid, so I am not sure why it was taking so long. Lastly, I would just make sure you understand all the charges associated with your day. We had to pay the bar $50/hour plus $6/drink (for mediocre beer and wine choices) plus gratuity, plus they put out a tip jar. Also, they were VERY strict about ID-ing people. Which... I totally understand, but they would not remember people or have a system (like wristbands or stamps) so they ID'd everyone every.single.time. Beyond the bar situation, the venue was fantastic, I would definitely recommend it!

It's in a very interesting location and it shares a building with a little grocery store which is very unique. We had actually not made a reservation and we got there around 5pm and our Hostess made some arrangements and got us seated within a few minutes. Once you go inside it looks like a very high end restaurant and every staff member there was super professional. Our waitress arrived super fast and we basically knew what we wanted already so we ordered Our food. We got our food within 15-25 minutes and I ordered their renowned Pan seared Elk and I got the wine that was recommended to pair with it. I honestly think that was the best elk I've ever had there was 0 gamey flavor to it at all and it was cooked to perfection(medium-rare). My girlfriend was already full for the most part so she just ordered their fries which had arrived way before my meal did so we shared them, they tasted very good. This place was definitely worth it and I highly recommend paying it a visit.

I had the badger bib salad which was mostly lettuce covered in an overly sweet dressing. My man had the ell tenderloin which was supposed to be cooked medium but came out much closer to rare. The elk was also tough and desperately needed salt. The abeet thyme cocktail was good. Our waitress was excellent but the food was a let down overall especially given the price point.

They provide directions up to the castle and it's a pretty scenic route. The castle comes into view and WOW! The landscaping is amazing and such a lush green lawn. The overall decor is very authentic and the level of detail unmatched. You def feel like you stepped back in time. We arrived about 10 minutes before seating and were seated shortly after 11. I will say the cell phone reception is horrible but they do have free wifi. After being sat they review the menu and how each person gets everything on the menu. At first glance doesn't seem like a lot however it was quite filling. We each got got select a tea from serval flavors. I got the pumpkin chai which went well with a lump of sugar and a splash of cream. The food overall was great and the best items would be the quiche, turkey sandwich and the roasted squash crostini. I'd want to go back and do a tour of the castle to learn more and see more. Also stay a night to get the full experience.
