I had my doubts at first, as there was so much to be done, and on time, but I was not disappointed, neither was my daughter. They transformed the place from wedding venue to reception venue in under an hour - cake delivered, catering set up, centerpieces, various decor hung, etc. Staff was there helping until the end, then they helped pack up. Uriah is also the Loft's photographer and he did not disappoint either. Holly and Samantha were the Wedding Planners and they went above and beyond also. I messaged on here and quickly had an appointment to come see the venue! We walked in and my husband said, "I think this is the place it just is so fitting for us." We did a walk through and fell in love with the venue, location and the fact that we had pretty much free rein over what details we wanted. We booked the venue for December 2018! We picked out a caterer, Baker, one of their preferred DJs, we did our our cocktail hour, one of their preferred bartenders, and Uriah as our photographer! The day of was so perfect for me. I picked out decor, table setting stuff, and all of that extra stuff and the people decorating just really made it look more beautiful than I had ever imagined. It was perfect. It is not far from Colorado Springs, yet feels so private. Jason really helped with all of the pre-planning and was quick to respond to all of my questions via email. Jodi was so helpful and accommodating during our reunion stay! The meeting room and guest rooms were so nice and set up perfectly! One guest room did not have a portable cooler, but Jodi worked with us to change the guest accommodations to take care of that. There are a limited number of rooms with no stairs, but it was fine for our family. The view from the dining room was amazing! The meals were delicious, and the serving staff was so friendly and quick. The specialty breads and desserts were outstanding! We appreciated the coffee, tea, and water being available throughout the day and evening. Our family enjoyed volleyball, gaga ball, ping pong, cornhole, horseshoes, and just wandering around the grounds. It was wonderful to have a family meeting room so that we could visit and play games throughout the weekend. Overall, our family loved the Hideaway!

The lodge is gorgeous, well maintained and perfect for intimate weddings or parties. We had around 52 people and it was just perfect. Even with a buffet, which eventually was cleared out, there was enough room for a small dance floor if we pushed the tables to the edges of the room later on. Due to perfect weather we were able to use the patio for our wedding ceremony and the views of the pines, the small lake, the small waterfalls and the bridge were everything we hoped for. This is a DIY place though in terms of set-up, food, music. We brought in an iPod to play on the sound system that is already in the lodge. We brought in linens, glasses, and everything to go with the buffet for the dinner. The location has a very nice sized kitchen for prep-work and several large fridges to store apps, fruit, chocolate, drinks, etc. The bathrooms are also very nice and very clean. When we got married they did provide chairs for the ceremony that were then ushered in and placed with the tables that they provide...since they're white plastic (but sturdy) tables I highly recommend linens. Unfortunately I was not able to get ready at the venue and had to get ready at a hotel in Monument but I know there were talks of making a bridal room but it never came to be before my wedding...would be very handy for the bridal party! Also, the wooden beams of the ceiling are beautiful and the fireplace is a great focal point...gorgeous! I checked online and the manager/event coordinator has changed since my husband and I got married there. This is a good thing. The woman who was there back in the fall of 2010 was the worst. She was rude. She was short with people. She never once asked me if I needed any help with the evening, even though she was there to do that, and she was kinda pushy. If it wasn't for the fact that this was the only location we fell in love with to get married at, besides super pricey places up in the mountains, I would have ran for the hills. This same woman also didn't listen when I told her about our music timing for the ceremony and messed it up right before I walked down the aisle---I had no music when I walked down the aisle. We weren't able to rehearse because she wasn't all that flexible since she scheduled a party the night before--when we were supposed to rehearse so that was a big part of the issue. If she were still employed with the business I would give the place three stars, but since she's not, five it is! You won't regret the location and your guests will love the atmosphere!

She called when she never received hers a month later (also they refused to call her back and chose the cowards way of emailing a predetermined message) heand they told her they won't be refunding because she did not cancel on the 3 month window. Yet they claim to be "caring and understanding" during this difficult time. They are still operating as if only they matter. They won't let her reschedule for this year without paying more because they only care about money! This place lied and has the worst customer service

The Grand Entry Hall is a soaring lobby that can accomodate private events and is the main display space for art shows. There is also an Event Hall that opens to the outdoor Terrace Theater. Concessions available are beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, and snacks. The facility is really quite spectacular. I recently visited to view the Roland Bernier retrospective which included a substantial selection of his work from the 1980s/1990s. The expansive lobby provided an excellent setting for his large-scale works. Additional art display space is available in the long hallway that leads from the lobby to the administration offices. The Arts Center has a busy schedule of theatrical and musical events that are presented in the Main Stage and Terrace theaters. There is also a regular schedule of art exhibits. This is a well-designed complex that offers many reasons to visit for those with an interest in many areas of the arts.

My favorite is always the malty beers, so I ordered the R & R Vanilla Coffee Porter on nitro. This was smooth! It went perfectly with my lunch. We took our cans of soda with us to have later. Becky was taking care of us and answered all our questions. We had a nice conversation with her about their hand made mug club mugs. We ended up purchasing two from last year to take home.
