This is a family based Marstons pub. Expect traditional style dishes and the usual pub fayre.
Plenty of choice on the menu and an amazing Sunday Carvery. Expect to wait for a table on a Sunday as it is really very good.
We recently had a family birthday meal there and they served 15 of us swiftly and without fuss. Super helpful waitress too.
This is busy pub with a kids outdoor play area so expect lots of hyperactive children full of Froot Shoots racing about.
Usually have a few cask ales on as well as several different draft lagers. Decent range of wines at ok prices.
Not as good as the Poachers just up the bypass at Chirk for food quality, but fine for a quick meal with the family. read more
