Tip for the staff, it's great to say"hi" when customers walk in and sit down, but to then ignore them, without the advice "menus are self serve" is not good customer service. We figured out ourselves that we had to get our own menus. There is a sign at hip level saying "please pay and order at the counter", would be better at eye level.
There were 5 staff and 5 customers, staff were busy chatting with each other.
Not a friendly or warm feel to the place.
You order and pay at the counter, can understand this on s busy day, but when there were so few customers some customer service would have been appreciated.
BREAKFAST BURRITO
Scrambled eggs, chorizo, mozzarella, coriander, horseradish dressing & red onion on a toasted wrap
Served minus the coriander and the horseradish dressing, served with baby spinach and a very ordinary dressing of unknown flavour. Tasty at least, but not the flavours I was expecting.
Why serve something that customers may choose to eat with a knife and fork on a piece of paper that shreds as you are cutting your meal. I had to continually pick bits of paper out of my food.
Cafes/restaurants who change ingredients for whatever reason need to inform their customers, and give them the opportunity to change their mind.
I expect to get what is described on the menu, not what you can be bothered cooking/putting together.
Veggie Stack
Fresh tomato, grilled halloumi & roast mushrooms on sourdough
(deluxe add a poached egg & bacon)
Partner had this, tasty, all ingredients present, but for $22 for the Deluxe it is overpriced. Nothing special.
Coffee was okay, not weak or extra hot as ordered, but drinkable.
Probably wont be back, too impersonal, not "nice feeling place".
Dirty cutlery was a turnoff as well, either cheese or egg on a "clean knife" read more
