They…read morecalled me back the next day, had an agent come out after our work schedule around 6:00 or 7:00 p.m. so it was great with our schedules. The gentleman who came out was named Evan. He was fantastic! He was real, upfront, honest, and overall a genuine person. This is my first time ever doing major housework so I was very nervous but I felt like I could trust him so he does his job well. We were informed right from the get-go that it would not be the cheapest for a roof, but it would also not be the most expensive. He brought in samples of the tiles, showed us the nails that they would use, and thoroughly explain the whole process to us so I felt like I understood what was happening. They showed up on the day of ready to go and it took about 8 hours. I got home from work and the new shingles on the front roof looked amazing. I reached out to the gentleman heading the project and he sent me the pictures of our roof which was fantastic. What stood out to me was this is the first time I've seen any kind of construction being done on a house in years that I haven't gotten a flat tire from a nail in the road. They have a policy that for each nail you find, you can mail it in and they will give you a check back. For better or worse I did not find any nails anywhere which is nice because I didn't want to have to patch another hole in the tire. Based on the average cost for hours square footage, they came in right around the ballpark of where I expected if it was on the high end of the spectrum. They were professional, they were friendly, I feel like they did a great job, and they were honest. Could not recommend this company more and if we have any work done on our house in the future, I will certainly be reaching back out to them.

We asked around for a local roofer and received recommendations from 3 different people for Snyder Roofing. We called, and Rick returned our called that afternoon and happened to be in our area, so he stopped by. Called the next day with a verbal estimate. Rick was very open and honest regarding our roof problem and the fact that there may be some hidden issues due to the roof age, etc. He made us feel very comfortable with his repair ideas and processes. We signed a contract 2 days later (Sunday). Rick, his son Mitchel, and a work crew of 5 arrived promptly Tuesday morning. The job was complete by noon Wednesday. The company moto, "We will put the same quality into your roof as if it were our own home", is absolutely true. Rick and Mitchell kept us informed continuously throughout the project! Cleanup was extensive. There was no trace of dirt or damaged plantings. In fact, I got the impression that their integrity and reputation was more important to them then anything else. After speaking with several of their previous clients, my wife and I decided to go with Snyder and selected the Timberline line of GAF for the shingles. Since Snyder is a certified GAF installer, it came with a lifetime warranty. Their team worked non-stop from the moment they arrived to the moment they left each day. Neat and professional, they protected the house and cleaned up the yard everyday. We have a large roof (over 7K sq ft). They knocked it out in less then 5 days. A man called me, drove out from another location and helped correct the flashing issue himself (with help). He took one look at the work and agreed that it wasn't looking right. There aren't many businesses out there that will be honest and correct their mistakes like that. Even the guy that worked on it the first time apologized and said he felt so bad that he messed it up even after we talked. Everyone was so cool about it. And my flashing is looking great. I have had them back to check out my gutters and the roof. I trust them and will be using them for any future issues (though I hope I don't have to for a long time.)

My mother contracted Bachman's for a quote on new roof, siding, facia, soffit and gutters. The…read moreissues started with the pushy salesman they sent. At first, he just seemed like a nice guy, but the reality is he lied to my mother and father right from the begging. 1. The salesman made it seem as though union level workers (not in the union but very experienced) would show up to do the installation. What showed up was a group of South Americans that didn't speak any English and didn't care about the working done. 2. My parents told him they wanted the item replaced not changed. Nothing was the same. The siding isn't the same as the was already installed. They installed soffit that is not the same. Changed the colors of the drip edge. Did not install a gutter guard that is comparable to the existing one. There are a lot of complaints against them about these kinds of shady sales practices with elderly individuals like my parents. We would be fine with this if the work was done well. But there are numerous workman ship quality issues are still present they refuse to return to repair. 1. The gap between the gutters and facia in multiple locations. 2. Nails in the face of the siding and drip edge in multiple locations. 3. The gutter guards do not allow sufficient liquid to pass through even when cleaned out. 4. Installed a piece of flashing on the ends that is bent upwards. 5. Did not connect the ground wires to the flood lights and left the wire nut connections outside the construction box. 6. Screwed the flood light into the soffit instead of construction box. 7. My mother called them in the winter about ice buildup on the gutters/guards. They have lived in this house since it was built new and this never happened in the past. They sent an employee that looked at it but did nothing. If you value your time and money avoid Bachman's at all costs.
