Haddon Learning Center is a very special place. My kids attended there for years and have so many…read moregreat memories. It is well run, clean, and safe. The teachers are amazing-- my children love them, learned so much from them and were so well-prepared for kindergarten. I would recommend it to anyone and would do it again if I could.

We love HLC!!! I looked into many different daycares in the Collingswood/ Oaklyn/ Cherry Hill, NJ…read morearea. We went with HLC because they had the best hours and the most reasonable price (and a very convenient location on my commute to work); the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable; the rooms looked clean but inviting; the curriculums encouraged early learning; and they had good policies in place to prevent the spread of illnesses. I was a little sad they didn't offer part time hours, but what they charge per week was less than what another location charged for 3 days of part time care. But, a warning to new parents, they had a pretty long waiting list. When I pre-registered (while still pregnant with my daughter), the wait to get in was 9 months! But within 2 months they were able to work their schedules enough to get my daughter in when I had to go back to work. My daughter started when she was 3 months old (now 9 months old) in the infant ("duck") room. She clearly has so much fun there and has learned many new skills from their excellent staff. It is very clear that the people who work there really care about the children and what they do. The people who work the front desk are sooooo nice and greet every parent and child by name (impressive for such a large establishment!). I would recommend HLC to anyone! I have no doubt that my daughter will be attendinfg HLC until she goes to 1st grade (since HLC offers a full time kindergarten too!) as well as any of her future siblings. It is such a relief for a working mom knowing that your child is well-cared for throughout the day. It was hard enough to go back to work, but HLC made the transition as easy as possible!

I've been bringing my children to Pennie's Place for the last 2 1/2 years. I've pretty much had a child in every class from Infant up to Pre-k. They have done a wonderful job caring for my children. If there was ever and issue with falling and scrapping a knee, or scratching it was always brought to my attention. Children do those things. My favorite teacher's were... Miss Donna was excellent with getting my oldest son ready for Kindergarten. I'm sorry, my younger son won't have the opportunity to be in her class. ( We moved out the area, but I made the extra half hour commute so my oldest could finish out the year) She loved to have fun with the kids, and it showed. Both of the older boys adored her. MIss Rita( 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 yr olds) was also wonderful, the crafts she did with the kids were fantastic and she was always taking pictures of the kids and sending them home. Miss Kathy, in the Infant center, was there every morning before 7 am if I had to drop the kids off. I would go to her with any questions or concerns and she was always very helpful. Last but no least, Miss Courtney (infant center), she is always so thoughtful. I would often see her playing on the floor with the little ones.

I wouldn't suggest taking my kid to this day care, my child is now 3 and still has scars on her…read moreface from being repeatedly scratched and them doing nothing about it. The infant center we were comfortable with. The next class up from infant she would cry not to go... and if you said the teachers name she would look concerned and say noooo then say the ladies name. The owner is never around... I would never send my child there and still regret it! Even looking back at her pictures while she was there that they took of her, she looks sad she didn't open up until she was out of that place.
