I'm not sure I can properly express how much we love The Harvest Inn. We've booked twice and look forward to our third. I also follow them on IG and get that melancholy feeling when we're not there experiencing Stacey's breakfasts. The property is beautiful, relaxing and impeccably clean. Breakfast....oh breakfast...an amaaaaazing homemade baked goodness, health shot, yummy main and just great way to start your morning. Btw...I haven't even been eating breakfast but I throw that out the window when I visit Harvest Inn. It's too good! Beds are so comfy, water, coffee and snacks always available. My peaceful resting spot is the koi pond. The fact that's it's within walking distance of many vineyards is just a plus. If we could live here, we would. Thank you Stacey and Steve, you truly are the best!...Kathy and Billy

The Harvest Inn was absolutely charming, relaxing, beautiful, and clean. Stacey and Steve were the best hosts. Very lovely people. The breakfast in the morning was out on their adorable wrap around patio - 3 courses including a wellness shot each morning. The rooms were very clean and quiet. Stacey recommended amazing restaurants near the inn. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and check in for a few nights to relax and unwind.

Such a lovely weekend away at this quaint bed and breakfast. Under new management, Ursula was the most gracious host. Her breakfasts were delicious (served at 9am - 2 course, family style), as was their special blend McNulty's coffee (served at 8am). The overall ambience was cozy and welcoming. We very much enjoyed meeting the other guests staying at the Inn during breakfast. Between Ursula and the other guests, our questions were answered and recommendations given for an enjoyable 2 day getaway. They have a beach pass, so def take advantage of it. The bay is close by and very tranquil. We walked to several vineyards: Pindar, Beddell, Lenz, and Raphael. Others that we visited (which were a short drive away) were Croteaux and Corey Creek. Only a 10-15 min drive into Greenport. I definitely plan on returning and recommending this place to everyone heading out to the North Fork. Favorite places nearby: Pindar - wine in a can!!! Croteaux - awesome atmosphere, fun tasting Corey Creek - wines in tap and get the Frosé The North Fork Table (food truck) - get the lobster roll! Blue Sage Spa - if you need a spa day

My wife and I stayed here when Darolyn and Chris were the owners of this beautiful B&B. In 2019 we wanted to go back. We made reservations with Darolyn. I had a question so I e-mailed the B&B. Promptly I get a response. Except it wasn't from Darolyn or Chris. It was from Cristina, one of the new owners of The Harvest Inn. She told me that the inn had changed hands. My wife and I were not sure if we wanted to keep our reservations because we had such a good experience previously. We decided to keep our reservations and it was the BEST decision we've ever made! Cristina and Ursula CANNOT do enough to make sure your stay is best one yet! Ursula makes a great multi-course breakfast! We were truly spoiled in 2019. We just returned home from a visit to the inn, Ursula is still making multi-course breakfasts. However due to COVID-19 they are just large size boxes that you can take back to your room or go out to the beautiful wrap around porch and eat. Although the delivery is different the charm and the heart is felt through every savory bite of that breakfast! We can't wait to get back out East

It was BY FAR EXTREMELY WORTH IT ! Chris and Darolun the owners greeted us and treated us like family. Very warm people. Loved them ! The suggestions they made for dinner and made the reservations for us each night. I can go on and on. The house IMPECCABLE!! Beautifully kept clean crisp just beautiful !! We had the biggest room in the house with the fire place and the sunset would come up early morning. Chris the awesome chef and owner cooked an awesome breakfast each morning -we ate it all !! Also gave a wine tasting at the house which was awesome as well as Chris was funny. I can't tell you what an amazing experience this was for me and my BF WE ARE DEFINITELY GOING BACK

The owners, Dan and Alane, are gracious and warm, lovely and kind. As NYC transplants who have an appreciation for locals and visitors, they are informed about all things North Fork. They are wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcomed! The rates are competitive, but the stay is even more worthwhile than we had initially imagined. The Guest House is the epitome of a comfortable country home -- a beautiful dream, to say the least. I ran my hands along the different textural walls and refinished drawer chests. With modern yet rustic aesthetics, the house is bright and breezy and clean. Our queen-size bed is a cloud! We slept so well on both nights and woke up to wholesome and delicious country breakfasts each morning. It is the perfect stay for a weekend getaway. If we were to visit the Long Island wine region again, we will definitely return to the Guest House.

The owners built their house as a B&B, so everything was new, yet personal. Each suite has it's own jacuzzi tub and fireplace, and feels private like a hotel, yet warm and inviting like a B&B should be. The Blue Iris is well kept and cared for, and their grounds ads are a nice walking distance to Bedells. The location also allows for an easy night out on the town, or to stay in and enjoy the rocking adirondack chairs around the beautiful fire pit. Lorry's style was top notch - everything was designed and picked out for very specific reasons. Our room was american themed. But The Blue Iris truly shined at breakfast time! We were welcomed with lemon squares, coffee and a raspberry yogurt served on gorgeous china. Goblets of water, and juice felt expensive and hearty. Lorry and Jerry joined our conversation, but were not overbearing. Didn't inject themselves into our time, but their opinions were a welcomed addition to our morning.

Blue Iris: A Serene & Enchanting Get Away…read more Lorry and her husband were wonderful hosts for my girlfriend and I. We came in from Manhattan searching for a quiet and relaxing get away and that's exactly what we got. Their house is absolutely beautiful and sits on a pristine piece of land, well-lit as you approach, and the gravel driveway reminiscent of an older long island but still very modern. Inside, the house is sublimely decorated with a classical piano selection playing in the background. The Rooms are upstairs, equipped with a fire place (turned on with the flick of a switch), a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and a firm queen sized bed. Our room was charmingly decorated with rusted treasure chest keys hanging from the wall and a 1920's Country Wall Phone with a crank handle that actually turns. The rooms are as warm and inviting as they are comfortable and tranquil. The Blue Iris is truly an enchanting get away for anyone seeking to escape the stress and chaos of everyday life. Our host, Lorry, was absolutely delightful and as helpful as could be. As soon as we made our reservation with her, she recommended dinner/spa reservations (A Lure had the best peppercorn Tuna and the Blue Sage Spa had a very relaxing couples massage), and confirmed our reservation for us at A Lure when we arrived (as well as handing us a discount card to a majority of the wineries, restaurants, and spas in the area). Lorry was there for our every need and wasn't even phased when we accidentally broke her wine glasses (which she didn't charge us for)! Breakfast started with fruit cups, coffee, tea, corn bread, and finished with a egg bacon and vegetable souffle which was to die for. When we visited some of the wineries around town and we mentioned to the employees that we were staying at Lorry's they even made a note to tell us how wonderful her breakfasts are. While we visited in February, the Blue Iris is just a small 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the water/beach. I'd 100% recommend the Blue Iris to any and everyone and I look forward to staying there again!

For our wine tasting I ordered a Summer Flight which consisted of white wines & rosé. My favorite was the Coalescense, we ended up getting two bottles to bring home with us. My husband got the Red Flight. We were more impressed with their white wines than the red, just our personal preference for grown in this area They also have some light bites to order, but we just stuck to wine for this visit.
