When I reached out to ask why, I was told it was no longer included and would now cost extra. No prior communication, no heads-up--just a sudden change. Their response was that it was being done as a "courtesy." Apparently this was a 2 year courtesy. On top of that, they've started adding random fees for things that are considered standard with most lawn companies--like weed eating along the fence line. It feels like they're nickel-and-diming customers rather than maintaining the quality and consistency of service. When I expressed concern, my feedback was dismissed rather than addressed. It felt like the blame was placed on me for expecting what had always been done before. Sadly, this shows a lack of accountability and poor customer service. I can't recommend a company that doesn't communicate changes clearly or show loyalty to long-term customers. If you're looking for reliable and transparent service, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
