If I could give this place less then one star I would!!!! I…read morehad Corrine/owner color my hair and it wasn't even close to the pictures I showed her of the lavender hair I requested. I came in with natural long blond hair that had never been colored before and she ruined it. I had to have my hair done at another salon as a color correction because she did not have enough experience to color my hair the color I requested. Corrine did not bleach my blonde hair because she felt it was light enough for the color to take. When she was done I showed her the picture of how I wanted my hair and told her it wasn't even close, and she told me my hair would lighten up after and few washes. She also apologized and told me she knew better, that she should have bleached my hair to begin with instead of just using color. She should have never charged me after admitting to me she messed up. After paying her $120 and having my hair ruined I left the salon crying. I then called her back a few hours later to let her know that there was no way my hair was going to lighten up to the color I requested after what she did. So she said I could come back to the salon to have her bleach my hair again, and unfortunately I came back thinking she was going to fix it but all she did was lighten the red/burgendy color up around my face so it wasn't so shocking to me. I would not recommend this salon to anyone after what happened to me. I've waited a few weeks to post this because I hate to leave a bad review for someone but my hair is still going through color correction because of this and I'm still upset about it and I do not want someone else to go through what I've been through.

This review is long overdue- so forgive me for that…read more Vanessa is by far the dopest braider around!!! She has done my hair multiple times throughout the past couple years, the most recent being in August, right before I left for Burning Man..Not only did the design and colors she choose for me go above and beyond my expectations, but my hair stood up for 2 weeks in the desert- with the dust, wind and all the elements!!! Even when I was ready to take them out they still looked on point and I could have easily kept them in for another couple of weeks -at least!!! The compliments I received were endless ... Vanessa is not only creative and extremely talented, she's also professional and treats you with respect, taking into consideration whatever needs or desires you may have....I live an hour and a half away from her studio and it's always well worth the drive! ...I recommend scheduling your appointment far in advance because her books fill up quickly....You will walk away from her chair looking and feeling like a queen!!! Thank you Vanessa!!! You are forever my stylist!

I always come here whenever I need a nice cut. Here is my personal review for this business…read more Service: The ladies that work here are very friendly. They are really cool to talk to. Even the more mature looking women have a sense of humor that can match the younger generation and that is a huge plus in customer service in my opinion. :) Quality of cuts: The style of cuts differ from person to person of course, that I understand but sometimes one of the stylists slightly messes up on my cut. I do have a weird shaped head so I won't hold that against them. lol Other than that, they do an awesome job every time I go there. Price: Price is about 14$. I don't remember the exact price, but 14 isn't far off. Conclusion: Overall, this place is awesome. The best barbershop in oroville.

I'm just really taken back. I can't comprehend the level of unprofessionalism. I don't even know…read morewhere to begin. Let me just start on a good note. The receptionist with the dark curly hair who greeted us. Very nice, smiled very friendly. However her whole family was at wrk w her? Her husband, dog, daughter and daughter's husband w their baby?? I'm so confused. She at the least was very friendly and courteous. Knew how to speak to customers. I just don't agree w family being at ur wrk place. My Main upset was the blond hair dresser older women who said nothing to me as I sat down in her chair. Gave us a dead stare as we came in. Interrupted me as I tried to explain what I would like to be done. She spoke over me the entire time. I was in shock. My experience with her was horrific. As I sat down in her chair, she never even made eye contact with me or greeted me or acknowledged my presence as a customer. I had to be the one to say hello, how are you and all I got as a response was "good". Honestly, I should've just got up and walked out at that point. However I tried to explain even if she was constantly cutting me off. My hair is on the thicker side so I needed some thinning done w out using the thinning scissors. She wouldn't stop interrupting me so ultimately it just never happened. She never asked if I'll be OK to wash my hair. She just told me to go over to the sink. I asked her if this was included w the basic woman's cut, she said she she's doing this on her own because my hair is thick and it will be easier for her. No prior communication of this to me at all. Attitude was unprofessional, not friendly at all. She needs to learn how to do a better consultation. After my cut she didn't even finish blow drying my hair. I left wet and full of hair everywhere. She had zero people skills, let alone hairdressing skills were questionable. I don't understand how people work directly with people daily and behave like this at their job! I really do believe that she was racist. Immediately saw me and treated me like she had a distain for a certain type of people. I saw her how she interacted and spoke to other people. It was definitely not the same vibe. It's unfortunate experience all together. I paid money to be treated like this. It gave me a gross feeling for the rest of my day. However as a mom and grown woman I don't feel the need to make a big deal in public when people do the wrong thing I just chose not to give them my business again.
