Additionally upper management does not care about their guests at all and has a bad attitude. In the past this was a great place with great upper management that was understanding and willing you work with you because they wanted what's best for you. I bought a membership for a family member and paid it in full as a gift for graduating last year. Little did I know they would keep my card on file and auto charge it without my personal knowledge for another year. I would have never agreed to keep my card on file for a simple one time gift. Upper management is not willing to work with me at all even though 2 different employees said it would be a simple fix and its wild to see their lack of empathy for the simple fact that I've been apart of this gym from 2010-2013 (break for college) and 2017-yesterday. I've paid for upgrades and private trainings as well as group classes. I've stayed loyal to this location but clearly keeping customers is not a priority. Can't believe they will be acquiring the Grand Prairie location that's shutting down with how awful and insensitive he is because proximity of location will keep people. Take your money elsewhere, you're only a $$$ to him at this location. An upper level managers should know how to de-escalate and not add fuel to the fire. *Update Chris the upper management doesn't know his company's policies at all and said that calling them wouldn't give me any different outcomes. His lack of empathy while working in a public facing job is baffling. Lucky for me I tried and gave corporate a call who profusely apologized for his bad attitude/demeanor was able to resolve the refund because it was within 7 days of the charge and will probably be the only reason I'd consider a different 24 Hr fitness location in the future going forward.

I have a Planet Fitness membership I go to during the week for convenience. 24 Hour fitness' equipment is in disrpair and hours at other locations are shortening. I am including two pic.of two broken machines. There is third machine doesnt work as well. So 3 out of 4 recombants are OUT OF ORDER. I use recombants, free weights and treadmill. This location has had machines down for weeks now. Last time I was here.over a week ago, I left and went to Planet Fitness down the road. There is a reason this place is not "crowded." It's run down.

My…read moremembership plan clearly states that if you attend at least 12 times in a month, your fee is cut in half. I went to the gym daily, yet I was repeatedly billed the full amount. When I noticed the error, I immediately called customer service. They claimed they would "investigate," but two months and countless follow-up calls later, I'm still being told there's "no error on their end." Meanwhile, I kept getting billed in full. That excuse is unacceptable. If there truly were no error, I should have been told right away, not dragged along for months while they continued taking my money. To make matters worse, Colaw insists on continuing to charge my card unless I complete an "end of contract" form--something not even accessible on their website. They admitted I'd have to request it by email. This is a deliberate barrier designed to make it harder for members to leave, and it's shady business practice at best. The worst part? A customer service representative actually told me I could "just go somewhere else." How awful is that? That's how they treat loyal, paying members who have been driving 20 minutes each day to support their gym. Absolutely unacceptable. What's most disappointing is that this gym brands itself as being built on Christian values and morals. Yet their management refuses to take any accountability, refuses to meet loyal members halfway, and acts as if they're always right. Companies make mistakes--it happens. But denying them, while hiding behind a façade of "Christian values," is hypocritical and disgraceful. Colaw Fitness should be ashamed of how it treats long-standing customers.

I  finally went…read morethere for the first time the other day (thb I am also a member of 2 other gyms) so that's why it took me so long to visit. It was a Saturday morning about 10am and the gym was not busy which is good. I only went to do cardio which they have a ton of machines there (treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes) and they even have a few upstairs so you can watch people below you (weird). This probably isn't a helpful review since I haven't explored each and every area of the gym, but suffice to say they seem to have adequate weights and space, a HIIT area and decent machines for those that don't like free weights. They have childcare (extra$) and a smoothie bar or something like that which I didn't try. next time I may actually perform a full workout so I can provide a more helpful review. The hours aren't too bad. Check the website to be sure. Please note that the basic rate of 9.99 pretty much only gives you access to walk in and work out. If you require any of the additional features or need a trainer, that comes with the addition packages or additional costs. There are also additional costs associated with the 9.99 membership so just be sure you understand all the small print. When I was there, I did not see any sweaty guys with no shirts on the machines, nor could I detect any grunting or sounds that resemble ancient man taking down a mastodon. I didn't hear any clanging and banging or weights being dropped and someone yelling like they got hot sauce in their eye so its a relatively safe place if you fear creatures that fall lower on the evolutionary scale. This is definitely not a "hardcore" gym. Temperature was cool enough to keep bacteria from replicating. They have fancy trash cans which have wipes built in to them and I was able to wipe down my equipment. as far as how busy they are, I probably should go there on ICD and see how many people are there.  (for those of you that don't know, ICD is "international chest day" or Monday to the layperson). Most of this, like I said, was not informative. I would suggest going by there and making your own determination. If you are someone wanting to get in better shape and have never worked out, this place may be ideal for you. if you are an experienced fitness enthusiast  then they may lack a few things to support your fitness journey.

I get that his job is sales but when you are being aggressive and forceful when a young woman says no she does not want to sign up for training, and he kept asking "why, why, why" then that's a problem. He would not take no for an answer and would not leave her alone. I have emailed corporate and no I do not want to go to the location and speak to anyone there. I want a phone call from corporate. Cody needs sales training and learn the meaning of "no". My daughter in law also told him she is unemployed and yet he still was pretty much forcing her to pay for training she clearly did not want.
