There was a lower price for long term rentals, as opposed to the monthly rentals. We took the 12 months rental which allowed my son to option to play during the summer when schools out. Unfortunately that strategy never panned out. Returning it at the end of our contract was quick and easy. I found what I was looking for - piano music - but during this timeframe a young lady came in looking for an electric guitar. The guy behind the desk went right to work helping her, even though she tried to initially push him off as well. Within minutes he had helped her pick a guitar for the sound she was looking for, they were both sitting down and jamming, and he was showing her easier ways to transition between certain chords she was playing. While sitting during the lesson, another student walked in and was told "oh so-and-so is no longer with us so this other person will be your teacher today." What? So you're not told ahead of time? (The mom asked when they'd known this teacher was leaving and it was two weeks prior, but they didn't bother to give anyone notice.) I find it strange that you pay in advance for these situations. Anyway. It's too poorly managed for me, which is too bad because it is certainly a great concept.
