Absolutely amazing hotel We love boutique hotels and this one is top of the list A former fire house transformed into sleek extra special lodging. Great customer service. Wonderful room overlooking their courtyard. And a restaurant serving a delightful breakfast I loved it there

I stayed at The Guild hotel for a recent business trip. It is an excellent example of adaptive reuse of a historic building as it used to be a YMCA. It is a beautiful structure from the outside. I arrived via Amtrak to San Diego and this hotel is just around the corner from the train depot. Very convenient. I arrived at the main entrance, which is up several stairs and did not have a chance to explore the outside of the building extensively so I do not know if there is an accessible entrance elsewhere. The lobby is very tasteful and boutique. There is a welcoming bar and several tables and chairs in a comfortable elegant looking seating area. You are checked in by employees at two low tables that look to be more in a concierge position than front desk attendants. After you are checked in you're pointed towards the elevators. Across from the elevators as a tasteful gift shop and next to that is a area that offers various snacks and sundries for sale. I was surprised at the selection for such a small hotel. There are several healthy options and the prices are reasonable. The rooms are somewhat small and don't have built-in closets. I was in an upgraded king bed room and it had a very small wardrobe as well as some hangers on a wall mirror installation. There are no refrigerators in the rooms so if you have medication or any other items that need to be refrigerated I would not recommend this hotel. Breakfast is included with your stay and there is a nice selection of breakfast items to choose from. Some require additional payment. They also have a full selection of espresso drinks. The staff is very friendly and I think this is a great spot for a short stay in the city of San Diego. It's very convenient to downtown and walking distance to many eateries and businesses.

Excellent. The Guild Hotel has a certain vibe and I like it! The entry in the lobby bar are quite classy, the bar more comfortable than classy, but classy nonetheless. The staff is superior. All staff members I interacted with were very welcoming, very friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable. The rooms are very well appointed. They are comfortable spotlessly, clean and quite spacious for the space allotted. The hotel is modernized and has many amenities. There's a lovely courtyard in the middle. There's a café on site. That is very good.

I'll let you in on a little secret: taking a woman on a getaway/vacation for her birthday is one of the best - if not THE best - ways to celebrate. Another secret is that the hotel accommodations are also of utmost importance. My boyfriend was whisking me away from Los Angeles to San Diego/Coronado for my birthday and chose The Guild Hotel for our abode away from home. Did he do a good job or was he in the dog house? The Guild Hotel is an architecturally sublime hotel part of the Marriott Tribute Portfolio (Marriott's boutique hotel line) located in downtown San Diego within arm's reach of every tourist attraction and district - you can't get more centrally located than this! The Guild Hotel has a rich history having served as an Army/Navy YMCA from 1924 and being reborn in 2019 with a modern facelift transforming into a boutique hotel but while staying true to its past beauty. The exterior of The Guild Hotel features stunning stonework masonry trim, carpeted stairs with a bellhop awaiting your arrival and large tropical plants combining a historical downtown feel with a boho twist. Note: parking is either valet or self-park at the garage around the corner. Entering The Guild Hotel certainly solidifies the feel of luxury but at an affordable price point with a lobby, bar area, gift shop, convenience store and courtyard for dining. Although it is noticeably a small hotel, it is curated with an expensive feel while also being accessible. Even small details aren't overlooked at The Guild Hotel as the entire space smells AMAZING and turns out they pump a spa-scent into the air. I was obsessed with it (and you can purchase the scented items in their gift shop). Check-in also feels more high-end than standard with various low tables and chairs (sort of reminded me of a bank) as opposed to one large front desk. The Guild Hotel offers a variety of room options below street level, street level, standard, lofts, and penthouse with the majority being "petite queen" or "petite king" (with or without courtyard views). My boyfriend chose the Petite King which features one king-sized bed, a small table with two modern chairs, a sette in front of the bed, nightstands and a very nice contemporary modern bathroom essence. As others have noted: the rooms are indeed very small (180 square feet) and in my opinion is better suited for a solo traveler; but I didn't mind cozy-ing up with my other half. There are also no closets with The Guild Hotel opting for a wardobe and an iron bar/mirror setup that can be used to hang clothing which is obviously all they could offer due to the small size; but it is a bit tough for those who like to unpack. Also missing is a room refrigerator (there are mini fridges at check-in which can be used by guests) and no coffee makers. I had an iron (I called customer service and requested one before my trip) but I noticed another review saying they didn't have one. The rooms are small is the point and not 100%; BUT they are nice AND passed my OCD hotel cleanliness: no bugs, no dust, no dirt, nothing in shabby shape. Plus, the bed was perfect with a mixture of firm with plush. Another note worth mentioning is that the rooms are quiet both in respect to not hearing others nor the outside. We even opened our window for a test and it was quite loud but once shut; completely muted. I need these windows and insulation at home! The Guild Hotel has a 24-hour fitness center complete with weights, machines, and Pelaton bikes on the below street level which was decent enough although some of the machines were broken with no out of order sign. There is also a single chair barber shop (appointment only) for the fellas. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and The Guild Hotel offers guests various options included (plus some for purchase) like eggs, toast, yogurt, granola, fruit, bacon, etc. You won't find sugary cereals or stale muffins here! I did have a slight birthday hiccup and bone to pick with The Guild Hotel. My birthday was mentioned to the customer service call center ahead of time (The Guild Hotel outsources their calls which is actually annoying) and as a Marriott Bonvoy member; I was promised a birthday surprise. There was nothing in my room upon arrival. We mentioned this to the front desk concierge who assured us that it was in the computer to happen on my actual birthday. There was nothing on my birthday either at which point my boyfriend spoke to them again and it was a little bit of a back-and-forth with some claims of it NOT being in the computer which doesn't make sense as the day before it was? When returning from my birthday dinner, there was a bottle of champagne in my room so they eventually got it right; but I shouldn't have had to "run after" The Guild Hotel to complete my birthday task. Despite some flaws; the good outweighs the bad at The Guild Hotel and my boyfriend did amazingly in his choosing. I would absolutely return to The Guild Hotel on a future LA escape.

Had a very nice two night stay at this boutique hotel by the Marriott. The location was walking distance from the train station after a late night four hour train ride from LA. As expected, room was small but I didn't mind. It has a minimalist feel and decor with all the necessities for a simple weekend stay. It was clean, affordable for the location, and comfortable. The booking rate also included a $35/day amenity fee which I used at the bar for a night cap and at their onsite cafe for breakfast. To name a few, the hotel is walking distance to Little Italy, Seaport Village, USS Midway Museum, the Gaslamp Quarter, and the waterfront to take the Coronado Ferry.

This is our first time here but we expect the best. There are surcharges. A 35.00 destination fee redeemable for food, bar, or breakfast.. non refundable. And parking is Valet , in and out available at 50.00. City parking next door is 25.00 . And no in and out. We will walk to dinner on India street. Simple. This is a grand old legacy hotel from 1920 and redone In 2020. The bed is FAB and as quiet as can be imagined. More tomorrow after breakfast. Btw, no fridge or coffee maker en suite. But Delivered on request. Water for two on arrival This will be nice. Update: this is so nice we added an extra day.

I would like to say, stay away from the Guild Hotel, that way there will always be a room when I want to stay, but I can't. This place is great. The rooms I have stayed in are small, but it's everything I need in a room. They have larger rooms. The bathrooms are good size. The main reason this place rocks is the people and the lobby bar. We have experienced a few bartenders, on our stays here, all have been great. However this trip, we were served by Bill, and Garrick. They are the best. Not only great people, but phenomenal mixologists. They work well together. Garrick made us a couple drinks that we have never had, they were so good. I had the food for the first time here, so good, totally hit the spot, and tasty. Bottom line, it has a great atmosphere, walking distance from the train depot, so it's convenient to take the train and stay here. Remember though. Save me a room. Also, Jose at check in was extremely professional and extremely awesome. I need to add, that after we checked out, we had sometime before our train. We sat down at lobby bar, the three people working there, (not bartenders, but baristas, and servers) Thomas, Sage, and Kaira were also the best. Fun, held conversations, professional, it's an atmosphere that is so welcoming. The Guildnis the place to be.

Stayed here for a few days during our San Diego trip. Every employee we encountered was wonderful. I commend them for their service since they remembered to refill our water every night after asking once. The girl who helped us at check in, Mia, was very personable and friendly. She was pretty much there every night of our stay. You are greeted with stairs before you enter the hotel, not very ADA-compliant but I didn't see where else customers who are disabled can enter. However, we were always greeted at the door by the bellman. Rooms here are very small and not much of a view. We had room 508, corner room but the view was meh. We also found the room to be really dark. We do love that the burning was transformed from a YMCA to a hotel. We didn't get the chance to enjoy their bar or breakfast but it was always packed. The location of the hotel is right in downtown and pretty much walkable.

Had a great stay at the Guild !!! We stayed in a city level room (room 100) the room was a decent size, large shower. Loved the high ceilings and the ceiling to floor windows. We did not have any issues with steel noise . The staff was very nice and accommodating, had a drink at the bar, very reasonable prices. We opted to parking in the public parking garage right next door $30 for overnight . The location of the hotel was great just a 15 minute walk to little Italy and maybe 8 minute walk to the water . Will definitely being staying again

Very comfortable, clean, beautiful rooms my wife and I got a king bed and enjoyed the size, and the big windows that let ambient light in. The hotel itself was amazing, from the service to the food and everything in between! I do not do reviews often but this is worth it! I would say the only downside is the small gym.

I really tried to like the hotel. The staff was friendly and tried their best. Especially the front desk. Here's the lowdown 1. Room was about 10ft by 10 ft. No closet. 2. Window as you can see was almost non existent 3. There's one person at front desk, they take a long time. Not their fault. 4. Bed was a full size or queen. 5. Destinations fee of $70 and parking fee of $60. With tax I paid about $200+ per night with 2 rooms just in taxes and fees. 6. 2 rooms for 2 nights were about $850+ taxes and fees. 7. The breakfast sandwich was $15 and not good... Not upset but definitely not worth the money I paid with experience I had with the property. I truly recommend you look elsewhere if you want to stay in the area.

Gerardo handed me this tag as a simple gesture, but it meant more than words. A reminder that kindness is noticed, felt, and remembered.

The Guild Hotel isn't just a place to stay--it became part of my fight for strength, truth, and transparency. From the moment I walked in, Gerardo and the staff showed genuine care that gave me peace of mind during one of the hardest times of my life. Mark's thoughtful message reminded me I'll always have a place here, and that support meant more than words can describe. Thank you to the entire team for seeing me and helping me carry forward.

I stayed at The Guild for 9 nights. It is a lovely old building that has been lovingly restored and updated; and yet, it isn't fussy. The check-in and lobby and restaurant are all one big room; there is a relaxed vibe. I had a sense that visitors and also locals use the bar and restaurant. The most noticeable thing during my stay was the staff. They were professional and authentic at the same time. When I called with some questions before arriving, Dave at the front desk was helpful. He said he'd be there when I arrived. He was and I was early but he was able to get me into a room well before check-in time (I know properties never guarantee this but it is lovely when they can do so). He was helpful throughout my whole stay. Kash and Victor, the doormen were so helpful and welcoming. Daniel and Myron (on the nighttime desk shift) were helpful also and surprisingly friendly at midnight or 3 in the morning! Franklin on overnight security was very helpful. Fred in housekeeping always had a smile for me. I learned he reads lips and uses sign language. Aldo on the maintenance crew was also very helpful. Shane and Parker in banquets really seemed like they enjoyed their work. I remembered so many name because I experienced people providing "service" in their service industry jobs. (I work in the industry too and it was fun being on the other side of it) The food is really good!! Many people seem to just come there to eat. The Super Bowl with salmon was my favorite lunch. Another reviewer mentioned parking. I learned that the valet is a separate company; give plenty of time to have your car brought around. Even better, the lot right behind the building was $25 per night and very clean and well-lite. Like many historic properties, there are many different room types and sizes. Be clear of that when you choose your room type so you're not surprised by one of the smaller rooms upon arrival. I look forward to a return visit when I cam not working and can really relax in and enjoy the property.

Fully stocked bar with great Sake options!

I am so happy I found this place via AARP! Located in the heart of the Gaslamp District, I had never heard of this hotel prior to searching. Upon checking in, the desk clerk was very friendly, efficient, and answered any questions that I had. As for the room, he put us up on the top (4th) floor. Room is the perfect size for two people. Very clean, warm, inviting, and has some really cute and convenient amenities such as a pineapple themed USB quad port at the desk, along with a Keurig machine (had I known that I'd have brought my own Starbucks K-cups)! The bed was nice and comfy with lots of soft but supportive pillows and two separate comforter blankets so you're not fighting for covers if you are sharing the bed with someone or your significant other. Bathroom is very modern and clean. A hairdryer is hanging in the bathroom as well. The only item missing was an iron and an ironing board; however, you can request that at the front desk. If you are looking for a hotel with a gym, laundry facilities on site, and a full breakfast buffet or continental breakfast, then this place is not for you; however, if those things don't matter to you {I typically look for those types of hotels during a longer stay) then this hotel is all you need. You also get other unexpected creature comforts such as Starbucks coffee in the lounge along with 4 different blends of water as well as these cute pineapple cookies in the afternoon. Based in Seattle, WA, I am so happy I found this chain as I will be on the lookout and consider staying in other cities. Parking is available in a garage connected to the hotel next door for a fee. Also, bikes are available in the lobby for getting around (not sure if gratis or for a fee). I definitely recommend staying here! One small recommendation for the hotel: provide rooms with a small microwave and mini fridge to reheat leftovers. It all worked out as I gave a homeless guy mine.

They provide tons of outdoor seating options and grills for tenants, which makes cooking a breeze. In order to enter from the beach/boardwalk, you must have a room key to enter the premises- another awesome perk. Location wise, it is in the heart of downtown. Everything is within walking distance. Immediately outside of the hotel, you can get to the Star of India as well as USS Midway museum. Both are must visit places if you are in downtown SD. Little Italy is also just about a 10-minute walk. It is a great place to visit the farmer's market in the morning and explore the food scene at night. Balboa Park and the SD Zoo are also very close and easily within driving distance. In terms of the hotel itself, we had the fortune of being upgraded for free AND given a free late check-out as well. They do have a balcony with a bar and plenty of seating. The balcony has a killer view. I got quite a bit of work done there every morning and it is a great way to start the day. The room itself is spacious and can fit 3-4 people since the couch can be a pullout. That being said, the couch wasn't that comfortable, but I survived without breaking my back. However, it did take me the first night to get used to. The view from the room is a killer and it's hard to get tired of it. All of their rooms face the ocean, so don't worry when you book, you will get a killer view regardless. Breakfast is complimentary, but their breakfast is very average. It is very hectic in the morning and the food is not the best, but it is included in the hotel. If you get tired of the breakfast here, again Little Italy is within walking distance with much better food options in the morning. They also have a tiny gym. It's got a treadmill and dumbbells. They don't have everything, but the equipment was sufficient for what I needed. Parking here can be quite expensive. I believe it was around $35 or $45 per day. But again, the convenient location of this hotel is hard to beat, so I think the parking price is worth it especially since parking is expensive everywhere in downtown SD and also hard to find. Overall, we had a great stay here. I do wish the breakfast was better for the price we are paying per night at the hotel and I wish their pullout couch was a bit more comfy. However everything being considered, I do highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting downtown SD. The location is just way too convenient.

It's away from all the noise and traffic of downtown San Diego and has a partial view of the bay as well. The harbor and sky restaurant was so convenient for us. We were able to dine in for lunch many times and we truly enjoyed the food and service here! Service here was just beyond amazing and the self parking was extremely convenient and considerably cheaper than most places ($45 per night). Overall, I would definitely recommend this stay!

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina while I was participating in a…read moreconference, and we very much enjoyed our stay. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and ours offered a wonderful view of the bay and even the ocean beyond, with a clear view of Point Loma. Down below was Roy's Restaurant and the pool area. While our bay view king room did not have a balcony, the window did have the ability to slightly open if we wanted to hear the sounds or get some fresh air. With the window closed, the room was very quiet, so we had no noise issues. We also didn't hear noise from any neighbors, with the exception of the occasional person talking the hall or letting a room door close. Though the beds were not the most comfortable we've ever had, they were comfortable enough for both of us, though the pillows weren't my favorite because they were the kind of feather pillows you need to bunch up so they aren't too thin. They aren't very soft or spongy. Nonetheless, I was able to sleep on them sufficiently well. We can be a little picky about beds and getting good sleep, and we slept fine. Unfortunately, like many hotels, the sink, toilet, and shower/tub are all in one room, making it less convenient for two people to be doing things at the same time, especially since there is only one sink. There was a decent amount of lighting and space for toiletry items. We had no major complaints about the room, but we did have a broken toilet paper fixture in the bathroom on the wall next to the toilet that resulted in the toilet paper falling on the floor several times. Service was super friendly, but it was difficult to reach the front desk at times without a very long wait on the phone. When I called down to request a luggage rack for the room, I was told someone would bring one up, but it never came. I had to walk to the front desk to ask for one, which was later delivered. They do have an automated attendant that lets you request a limited number of items, and I was able to request a robe for my wife that way. While we were there, the elevators were a problem for a lot of people. For part of the time we were there, some in our tower were not working, causing relatively long waits for the remaining elevators and sometimes multiple stops on the way down or up at peak use times. The hotel said they were working on it, and things did seem to improve a little by the time we checked out. The property itself is beautiful and laid out well for its limited space in this part of town. Once inside, and even outside when walking the grounds near the pool, you are in a bit of a protected oasis that doesn't make you feel like you are sandwiched between the bay and the street out front. We ate outside every day with the conference, and the area we were in was super pleasant. There are a number of restaurants on property, but since we were usually eating with the conference, we didn't have time to try any except for the Marketplace. It was very expensive for most items, but the quality was really good, and we never had much of a wait. They serve Starbucks coffee here, but you can probably save a bit of money if you get that (or mobile order) from the on-site Starbucks, which is in a different part of the building. The food served at the conference was of good quality. If you go to many conferences, you'll find it to be competitive with any of the better resorts, though, in my opinion and as one might expect, it doesn't outshine the Ritz-Carlton or certain J.W. Marriott facilities. The food service staff for the conference were excellent, helpful, and fast. The hotel is in a very convenient area downtown on the bay next to the San Diego Convention Center. Traffic in the short distance between here and the freeway can be bad depending on time of day or events happening at either the convention center, downtown, or at Petco Park, where the Padres play, but the distance is short enough for it not to be much of a headache in most cases. I doubt you'll find very many cities with access this easy from the hotel to the airport and all of the local attractions, including, in this case, the Gaslamp District, Little Italy, Coronado, the bayside attractions, Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, and more. Hotel parking is expensive, of course, so if you don't really need a car, I highly recommend using Uber or Lyft or walking to get around to the nearest things. Overall, I would certainly stay here again, and I do highly recommend this hotel if you are attending a conference or vacationing in this part of the city and can afford the price point.

Our first room was small and the bed was basically down to the springs. It was horrible. However, front desk quickly fixed this and moved us to a new room with a newer mattress, which also happened to be slightly bigger. The beds are soft and springy so just be aware of that if you're used to firmer beds. They also gave us firmer pillows (non down) which was great. Bell hops are friendly! Valet was quick and easy, but super pricey at $70/night. Having a coffee shop, restaurant and bar onsite was great. Depending on the location of your room, it can be loud all night! We were facing the convention center and you can hear the trains go by, which was fine. But our first night (with the bad bed) was facing a parking lot and it was like a party was right outside our window till 2am. Overall, good stay. Remodel makes it look new, though tubs show wear.

It was served in a plastic wine cup. A hotel charging overpriced wine and overpriced rooms should at least be able to provide a real wine glass. When checking in, I asked the front desk, since the room wasn't available until 5 PM, does that mean we can check out at 12 PM? The front desk said no, check‑out time is still 11 AM. This is ridiculous and unfair to customers. This hotel is just disappointing. The website's advertising it's not accurately reflect the guest experience, and poor customer service.

I paid an arm and a leg for the room but it was absolutely massive and I had sliding glass doors directly onto my own private patio which was right next to the pool overlooking the ocean, it was really incredible despite how outdated the room felt, somehow the size of the room made it more modern and it felt clean. The people at the front desk were young, fun, outgoing, really friendly and I appreciated that. They told me about some happy hour they were having later in the day and I felt very welcome here unlike other hotels I stayed at in the San Diego area. The bathroom was huge in my room, very weird vibe, like felt cabin-like, I don't know how else to explain it, but it was spacious, big countertop by the sink plenty of room to get ready. The coffee bar had an enormous countertop which was great for keeping all of my things, huge mirrors everywhere too. The bed was really comfortable, again great view outside, awesome staff. It was so nice to be able to walk the boardwalk and pop back in here whenever I needed to grab something or use the restroom. Walking distance to everything. Highly recommend, I would definitely stay here again. But I probably won't because the cost is INSANE. Sorry but it is. Also housekeeping found my jewelry box loaded with jewelry and returned it to the front desk who subsequently shipped it back to my house for me. For a charge of course but I do appreciate the honesty of the staff that goes a long long way! Thank you!!

Three cheers for Sandra and for the Del!…read more Service has gone downhill since Hilton acquired it. But we love this location so much we suck it up now and then to have a little staycation in this magical place. At check in time there was a huge line: the computers had broken! We left our luggage and got a snack at ENO Market. And luckily by the time we finished, the line had cleared and they had brought over extra folks to work reception. We were lucky to get Sandra who normally works at the more upscale Shore House on property. She was very apologetic about the line and also saw that we have stayed here at several times. My sweetie is Hilton Gold and they were initially going to upgrade us from our basic The Views room to a "Victorian room with a view". No thank you! Del veterans know that the historic hotel rooms are small and with no privacy, because of the courtyard. So Sandra looked again and managed to get us a beautiful upgrade to the ocean view room in The Views, which was amazing. And when we woke up, we had a note under the door saying we also had complimentary buffet breakfast at the veranda because we have an American Express Hilton card... and we also got $100 off our meal the night before at Serea! So in short an amazing stay that was an incredible value for the Del. Sometimes we stay somewhere else "cheaper" in Coronado and then come out and hang here. But this was a super deal. The credit card is absolutely worth getting if you like the Del! (last pro tip: service at the hotel can be spotty and the food very expensive if you don't have a credit. ENO market and pizzeria is the best value on property. But if you get Brett as your server at Serea, and sit outside, you are still sure to have a magical time!)

First, the good: The property has been nicely upgraded since I last stayed here in 1978…read more Now the rest. We checked in at 5pm. Thankfully the line was not long but the process takes a while so you can still wait 10 minutes even if you are first in line. The clerk was very nice but I could sense she was going to shaft us and sure enough we ended up in a tiny room that was down a long corridor with a view of nothing but rooftops. Probably one of the worst rooms in the hotel and maybe used to house the maids but now sold as a regular room to maximize revenue. So naturally we marched back to the front desk and thankfully found another clerk who could not have been more wonderful. Shocker, she was unable to find anything else that night (800 rooms, 5pm checkin, nada) but was able to convince the manager to let us upgrade the following day to a higher category room for $75/night (regularly $225). Of course this means packing up after one night and checking into a new room but we decided to do it because the first room was so mediocre. The next morning we stopped at the front desk at noon and were surprised and delighted to find the new room ready. It was like night and day - about 2x-3x larger with an elevated sitting area, a couch, and a sea view even though it was not ocean front. Well worth the upgrade fee though kind of sad that you have to pay extra just to get yourself removed from the worst ROH. Not that everything was perfect - the following morning we were awakened to children running wild in the room above ours (apparently a special turret room or something) - it was so bad that I had to knock on the door and was greeted by a displeased parent who apologized and said they were checking out. Bueno. Don't come to this hotel enjoy the water. The ocean is polluted by sewage from TJ and not recommended for bathing. The next day we arrived at the pool only to find it was closed for the day after a child had exploding diarrhea. So much for that. Someone asked management if they could use the special spa pool reserved for mucky mucks but was told that was off limits. On the plus side beach drink service was excellent, but $8 for a diet coke plus a mandatory service charge seems excessive. Similarly I think it was $25 for a cookie and a couple of soft drinks at the lobby snack shop. I was tempted to buy a yogurt parfait but I could not justify it as the cups were only half filled. It is one thing to gouge customers, quite another to cheapen the product. For those who want to save $$ there is a chipotle across the street from the property where you can get large soft drinks (and return for free refills, as the cashier explained) for $3. If you plan to spend all your time at the resort, save yourself the parking gouge by taking a $31 rideshare to/ from the airport. Overall I can say that the staff was very nice, the bar area is fun and the food served at the hotel restaurants is excellent. However I do not plan to return as there are so many properties in San Diego that have nicer rooms, nicer pools and nicer beaches for a fraction of the price.
